Key responsibilities
· Grow our corporate portfolio by securing new partnerships with companies and maintaining a focus on researching, prospecting and approaching businesses to secure the fundraising target.

The RSPCA York, Harrogate & District Branch is seeking to increase its fundraising activity in order to secure the funding neccessary to completely rebuild the York Animal Home. We are looking to bring on an experienced individual to design, launch and lead our capital campaign and raise the remaining funds needed to complete the project.
The Capital Campaign Lead will take overall responsibility for planning, leading and delivering the £5m capital appeal over the next few years. This includes developing the case for support, managing campaign phases, cultivating major donors and funders, and ensuring strong governance, reporting and stewardship throughout the campaign.
The York Animal Home was built in 1980 and no longer meets modern welfare, licensing or operational requirements. Demand for our services is rising sharply, while the complexity and scale of cases continues to grow. We are at the point where our current animal facilities do meet our needs and have been working to redevelop the site and build new modern facilities.
We have received planning permission and are in the process of finalising the designs prior to construction beginning this year.

Job summary
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team to create, deliver and analyse integrated marketing plans that utilise the full marketing mix to extend the reach and maximize the sales of BookTrust’s traded reading programmes to schools.

The ideal candidate will have a breadth of marketing skills and experience and a proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues across the charity to deliver marketing campaigns and activity to a consistently high standard.

About the role
We are looking to hire a Senior Fundraising Events Coordinator within Restless Development’s UK Fundraising team. The fundraising team’s income has grown year on year and there is huge potential to continue to grow this further and create impact at scale.
The Senior Fundraising Events Coordinator will be primarily working on the Schools Triathlon programme and managing all PR & social media comms, and also supporting on both merchandise and sponsor management. The Schools Triathlon is the UK’s largest fundraising and sporting event for children aged 7-13. Its aim is to encourage more children into sport while also teaching them the importance of fundraising. Over the years, the events have raised over £3.4m for Restless Development and local charities and over 9,000 children have taken part. We are aiming to deliver 15 events in 2026 and significantly expand the series..

Key responsibilities
Deliver and event manage high-quality Schools Triathlon events in 2026 and beyond
- Throughout September to February, present assemblies for the Schools Triathlon to inspire school-age pupils to sign up and take part in the Schools Triathlon series, and motivate them to fundraise by delivering a fun and engaging presentation.
- Develop strong professional relationships with various important stakeholders from host schools throughout the year, in person and online; as well as with participating schools through the delivery of assemblies and in comms prior to the event day.
- Work with our event delivery partners to deliver 15 events throughout April, May and June 2026, ensuring that the event logistics, host school requirements, participant details are finalised and managing host school relations.
- Respond to enquiries from parents and guardians on our dedicated inbox and mobile phone when needed.
- Develop a good working relationship with the Triathlon Committee, made up of Restless Development staff and volunteers, while still keeping the appropriate members informed and bringing in support as and when needed.

Working within the Money Advice Team (Community Debt)
Casework – The post-holder will carry a specialist caseload, providing advice and casework covering the full range of debt issues and solutions. This includes but is not limited to, dealing with emergencies, making use of the Breathing Space scheme, making offers of repayment, drafting financial statements, advising on insolvency options and providing budgeting advice. Director of Marketing and Development

Legasee is a charity committed to ensuring that future generations can learn about our history through the personal recollections of the men and women who witnessed it first-hand. We provide students, teachers and researchers with unique access to a high-definition video archive of interviews with veterans and civilians connected to British military conflict from 1939 to the present day.
We are now seeking to recruit a committed and organised Project Officer to support the delivery of a major new oral history project focusing on the Aden Emergency, made possible thanks to a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. At its heart, the project will record the oral histories of 30–40 veterans and civilians whose lives were shaped by service in, or connection to, Aden during the final years of British rule.
Working closely with the Project Manager, the Project Officer will play a key role in the on-the-ground delivery of the project in Blackpool and the wider Northwest. The role has a particular focus on face-to-face volunteer coordination and the digitisation of archival material from the Aden Veterans Association, alongside supporting local events, interview days and community engagement activity.
The Project Officer will act as a local point of contact for volunteers, veterans and partner organisations, ensuring that activity is well organised, welcoming and delivered to a high standard. This is a practical, people-facing role, suited to someone who enjoys working directly with communities and supporting volunteers to develop new skills and confidence.
The recorded testimonies and digitised materials will form a permanent digital archive, supporting public engagement, interpretation and learning, and ensuring that the experiences of those connected to the Aden Emergency are preserved for future generations. The Project Officer will support quality assurance, accessibility and good archival practice throughout this process.
Education and community engagement are central to the project. The Project Officer will contribute to activity delivered in partnership with local schools, libraries and community groups, helping to create meaningful opportunities for people to engage with oral history and local heritage.
The role is home-based but requires regular in-person working in Blackpool and the surrounding area, including attendance at volunteer sessions, events and meetings. Flexibility around working hours is essential to meet the practical needs of the project.
If successful, your role will be:
- To support the delivery of the project in line with the requirements of the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the agreed evaluation framework

Open Rights Group (ORG) is recruiting for a Pre-Crime Programme Manager
The Pre-Crime Programme Manager leads our work on predictive policing and surveillance within the criminal legal system and counter-terrorism policy, with a particular focus on raising awareness of, and challenging, the impact on over-policed and over-surveilled communities.
They are responsible for the development and implementation of the Pre-Crime programme, working with the Senior Management Team (SMT) and other staff to expand the programme’s profile, network and funding opportunities.
As a Programme Lead, they will also be responsible for working with the SMT and other Area or Programme leads to further develop and uphold ORG’s values and collaborative working culture. They will be recognised as an issue-expert and senior leader within the organisation.
Activities
This is a permanent position at Open Rights Group, and we have secured a number of project grants to deliver the following activities:
- Lead and manage the Safety Not Surveillance (SNS) Coalition, the UK’s only coalition fighting to prohibit AI- and data-driven predictive policing. SNS brings together grassroots partners with national organisations to build power in communities, secure media coverage, engage decision-makers and mobilise those with lived experience.
- Develop detailed policy positions on the deployment of AI and data-driven technologies by private and public actors in criminal justice, immigration and national security.
- Advocacy to encourage decision makers, including MPs, Lords, Government departments and the Information Commissioner’s Office, to adopt ORG’s and the coalition’s recommendations.
- Conduct campaigns that raise awareness of the threats posed to people’s digital rights by the data-driven technologies in policing and counter-terrorism, as well as more broadly.
- Through research and FOIs, help build a legal case with our partners against covert Police-led pathways under Prevent, the UK’s counter-terrorism programme.
- Opportunities to campaign against digital ID, the Online Safety Act and to protect freedom of expression.
What we’re looking for

You might be knowledgeable on the current and emerging technologies impacting policing and the criminal justice system.
You will likely have experiencing managing multiple projects addressing harms impacting communities that are marginalised and made vulnerable by society.
You might have a strong policy background with an interest in human rights, policing, surveillance or draconian technology.
You will have the capacity to perform simultaneous roles such as research, project planning and creating communication outputs and have the creativity and lateral thinking skills to ideate interventions and disrupt harms.

- Creating comms outputs: such as blog and video posts summarising policy submissions and campaign materials.
- Some public speaking: such as giving press quotes and interviews, as well as representing ORG at external events.
- Programme management: for example, setting goals, objectives and key performance indicators for the programme to deliver.
- Project planning: including identifying further opportunities and partnerships for programme growth.

The CCSA is the trade association accelerating the commercial deployment Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (or CCUS) through advocacy and collaboration. Our ambition is to see CCUS developed and deployed at the pace and scale necessary to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and deliver sustainable growth across regions and nations. We represent a wide variety of organisations with an interest in the development and deployment of CCUS across many applications to decarbonise industries, power, and hydrogen production, and remove carbon dioxide directly from the atmosphere.
The CCSA operates as a not-for-profit company, overseen by a board of elected members. We have 22 staff across our London & Brussels offices.
The role
We are a dynamic and agile organisation looking for a proactive and confident Events and Membership Officer to support the delivery of events and services to our 120+ members. As we are small team, all staff have the opportunity to develop and own their own work streams. For this role, we anticipate that the successful candidate will become responsible for end-to-end event delivery, as well as taking the lead on oversight of the CCSA website. The role will be managed by the Events and Membership Communications Manager, but will also work closely with the Head of Membership and equivalent colleagues in our EU office.
What you will be doing:
Events delivery
Organisation and delivery of our annual programme of 30+ events, from our flagship conferences through to webinars, and smaller member events. Including:
- Delivering a structured programme of in person events, webinars, workshops and site visits.
- Managing delegate bookings and queries
- On-the-day event support at our events and external events
- Coordinating venues, logistics, suppliers and facilitators.[SP6]
- Organising our presence at external conferences including sponsorship/contra deals, speakers and exhibition stands
- Managing the production of marketing collateral to support our events including through digital channels
Membership
- Raise the profile of the CCSA and our work to members and stakeholders through our events, social media and website channels.

- Manage the administration and updating of the website and supporting colleagues to use it effectively and help us achieve our goal of becoming more ‘web centric.’

Location/hours
