Staff are expected to come into their base office once per week or the monthly equivalent i.e. 4 times per month. Staff are also able to flex their start and finish times between the hours of 7am to 7pm daily.

About the role:
The Digital Content Manager will provide leadership and strategic direction for all of Concern’s digital content.
The role’s overriding objective is to create a positive and engaging online experience for Concern’s digital audiences while maintaining a focus on content that increases awareness, income and brand loyalty.
Acting as the organisation's champion for content marketing, the post holder will not only drive donations, but design meaningful digital experiences that bring supporters closer to the impact their contribution has.
The role involves managing complex demands from across the organisation as well as being responsible for output and managing risk. As one of the organisation’s lead digital copywriters, they ensure all content is of the highest quality and meets our strategic objectives. They are also an expert in digital content management and accessibility best practise, ensuring the website is maintained according to the highest digital standards.
The role also involves daily liaison and negotiation with a multitude of internal stakeholders in the UK, Ireland and the US, as well as external stakeholders including content creators, designers and developers among others.
About You:
You’re an experienced digital content professional with a strong track record of writing, editing and quality‑assuring clear, accurate and accessible content. You understand tone, brand consistency and user needs, and you know how to shape content that performs.
You’re confident working across multiple CMS platforms including Drupal, and you bring solid technical knowledge of SEO and digital optimisation, web usability and audience behavior.
Highly organised and calm under pressure, you manage workflows, deadlines and competing priorities with ease. You collaborate well, build strong relationships and handle stakeholders with professionalism, flexibility and integrity.

The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase individual giving donations (regular giving and one-off donations at relatively lower level) and philanthropic support (major gifts from ‘philanthropists’). About the role
Reporting in to the National Events Manager, the Events Fundraising Officer will recruit and engage supporters, building trust and collaboration to strengthen Christian Aid’s event and DIY fundraising activity and maximise participation in challenge events. 2. Prepare and monitor the annual income and expenditure budget with support from the Head of Fundraising.
3. Responsible for delivering existing integrated campaigns spanning direct-mail, partially addressed mail, inserts, telephone acquisition and digital channels against the agreed schedules, targets and budgets.
4. Work closely with the Database Manager (and relevant agencies) on criteria for data selections, data extractions and supply.
5. Measure attrition in key acquisition groups as well as other key metrics on an ongoing basis and develop strategies to reactivate and mitigate against donor attrition.
6. Work with a creative agency on campaigns across all Individual Giving streams, testing and adapting regularly to optimise results.
7. Work with the other Individual Giving Manager focused on retention, Database Manager and the appointed fulfilment house to ensure that supporters are managed to the highest level of donor care standards and GDPR guidelines.
8. Continue to develop the regular giving acquisition proposition to grow each segment of supporters and negate attrition.
9. Maximise Gift Aid income from the acquisition appeals.
10. Working with Legacy Administration team lead on legacy marketing.
11. Remain current on developments to GDPR, especially to consent and ensure all campaigns comply with those guidelines.
12. As appropriate, to support and participate in any fundraising event organised by the Trust.
13. Undertake other tasks as appropriate as directed by the Head of Fundraising & Communications.

What we're looking for

Experience in communications, digital engagement, campaigns, or knowledge of GDPR and fundraising regulation would be a bonus.

We’re looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for making a difference. Whether you’re seasoned in account management or have experience in a fundraising environment, you’ll thrive in this role if you can demonstrate:
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of corporate accounts, ideally within a fundraising context.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans.
- Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office and databases such as Raiser’s Edge.

- Extensive expertise in individual giving, supporter acquisition, and multichannel fundraising, with a strong track record of creating engaging supporter journeys and growing fundraising performance across digital and traditional channels.
- Experience developing legacy, in-memory, and community fundraising programmes, supported by excellent supporter stewardship and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and technical capability, including the use of CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics to deliver targeted campaigns, supporter segmentation, performance reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Good understanding of the opportunities and challenges of fundraising within complex organisations, including membership based or geographically dispersed structures, with experience in the charity sector highly desirable.
