Purpose of Job
To deliver a high-quality service to and facilitate opportunities for individuals with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their families/carers through Shine membership.To empower and enable members living with the conditions to lead healthy and happy lives through greater independence, better condition management and by creating links to the Shine community across England.
SHINE has over 15,000 members with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus. This post will bring a real focus to the Essex, Suffolk & Norfolk area and will be an exciting opportunity to engage with members and develop and deliver the services we offer.
We work with members of all ages from our Little Stars aged between 0 – 12, young people are members of our FIRE project and we have established adult support. Working alongside our multi skilled, established team, you will be supporting members across all age groups and building on the great foundations already in place.
The role is home based but you will be required to attend clinic at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge on the first Friday of every month. You may also be required to cover other clinics, events in London and meet members one to one where necessary within your allocated area of Essex, Suffolk & Norfolk and occasionally across wider areas and nationally including meetings at our head office in Peterborough.

Brief role description:
The Senior Corporate Development and Partnerships Manager/ Head of Corporate Development and Partnerships will be a dynamic and strategic leader who will lead the Forces Employment Charity (FEC)’s business development. This will include researching and identifying new income generation opportunities from corporates, employers and government contracts, when relevant, and converting these into long term relationships. As part of the Marketing, Communication and Fundraising Directorate, and led by the Director of Marketing,
Communications and Fundraising, you will be supported to be creative in how you grow and uplift new business to contribute to annual growth targets. You will have an entrepreneurial approach to your work to identify and attract new partnerships whilst being responsible for the relationship management of our established corporate partners, focusing on stewardship, renewals and smart uplifts.
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Driving the development of tailored, high-impact proposals and pitches to engage relevant companies and secure strategic, multifaceted partnerships that align with the charity’s mission.
- Work with the wider directorate including fundraising, marketing, communications and events, to identify new, innovative projects to help us achieve our income generation objectives.
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive revenue and market presence.
- Represent FEC at events, meetings, and networking opportunities to grow visibility and to deepen engagement.
- Oversee budget, monitor performance against goals and KPIs, and conduct contract negotiations.
- Lead and manage the corporate development and partnerships team, fostering innovation and collaboration within your team, whilst providing strategic direction and support.
- Take an active role in planning and delivering key new business events to support income generation and stakeholder engagement.
Some of the skills and experience we are looking for are:
- Experience in building strong, successful, long-term partnerships.
- Strong track record of securing multiple six / seven-figure sums from partnerships and delivering income targets.
- Strong prospect research, networking, and pipeline management skills
- Strong communication skills, including diplomacy, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven track record in coaching, motivating, and developing teams.
- Ability to manage the workload, outputs, and people within a team to produce high-quality outcomes in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop innovative and forward-thinking strategies and translate these into operational plans.
- Considerable experience in building relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally, particularly with government and corporate organisations.

Ideally you will also have:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Empathy with and a good understanding of Ex-Forces personnel and the challenges they can face.
- Experience in leading funding applications

South East London Mind’s award-winning Mindful Mums Programme aims to build resilience and prevent pregnant and new mums from developing mental health problems during the perinatal period (pregnancy up to 1 year). This year marks the service’s 10-year anniversary, supporting over 4,000 parents across South East London.
Our peer support volunteers are at the heart of what we do, helping us to deliver weekly wellbeing groups, walking groups and one-to-one befriending for new mothers and birthing people. Their dedication makes a real difference, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way.
We are seeking a proactive Senior Peer Support Coordinator to lead on the provision of a high-quality peer support volunteer programme for over 50 volunteers. This role is responsible for all aspects of the volunteer life cycle, from marketing and recruitment, delivery of induction training on perinatal mental health and psychoeducational tools used within Mindful Mums, through to reflective supervision, delivering our CPD programme and finding the right role for each volunteer within the service.
You will work alongside Senior Project Coordinators and the Service Manager to ensure we deliver on our targets, supporting with programming our wellbeing groups and one-to-one befriending. You will be a skilled people manager and effective communicator, responsible for the line management of staff and ensuring the service is represented at stakeholder and partner community events. You will be a confident facilitator, as some group delivery will be expected.
Like us, you will be passionate and knowledgeable about the role of peer support within recovery-focused perinatal mental health and the NHS Competence Framework for Mental Health Peer Support Workers. You will be experienced in supporting volunteers, providing supervision and acting as a mentor in their professional development. You will be highly organised with experience of project management in a target-driven environment. An ability to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and highly organised is essential for this role.

Pembroke College Oxford is seeking a highly organised and analytical Development Operations Manager to play a central role in supporting the College’s Development and fundraising activities.
Founded in 1624, Pembroke is an inclusive and dynamic College based on a central site in Oxford that combines historic quadrangles with award-winning new developments. The College has ambitious plans for the future and an active programme of alumni engagement, stewardship and fundraising to support its academic mission and long-term sustainability.
The Development Operations Manager is a pivotal role within the Development team. Working closely with the Development Director, the post-holder will be responsible for the operational foundations that underpin the College’s fundraising activity, including alumni database management, gift processing, prospect research, reporting, and insight generation. The role is essential to ensuring that the Development team works efficiently, accurately, and strategically, supported by high-quality data and robust processes.
The post-holder will manage the College’s alumni database (DARS), acting as a knowledgeable and trusted first point of contact for database queries, and will lead projects to improve data quality and compliance. They will also play a key role in analysing giving patterns and engagement trends, preparing reports for colleagues and committees, and supporting the identification and tracking of potential donors. In addition, the role includes dotted-line management responsibility for the Development Coordinator, with a particular focus on overseeing operational activity.
This post would suit someone who is confident working with complex data, highly numerate, and able to spot patterns and trends. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to work collaboratively within a small, interdependent team, while also exercising discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential information.

Key responsibilities
The main duties to be carried out by the post-holder include:
Data and Database Management
- Manage the alumni database (‘DARS’) and ensure that data held on alumni is GDPR compliant, comprehensive, and up to date.
- Oversee projects to maintain and improve the quality of the College’s alumni data and ensure engagement activities are accurately and effectively recorded.
- Produce data exports for third-parties such as consultancies and mailing houses and ensure any data received is processed and imported accurately.
- Produce accurate data content for publications such as lists of stewardship group members and deceased alumni.
- Become a competent ‘super-user’ of the DARS database and act as first point of contact for the Pembroke Development team for any queries about the database, ensuring that the team is both confident in using it and consistently recording data in line with GDPR.
- Actively engage with the central University team delivering the successor to DARS, ‘Halo’, to ensure it meets the College’s requirements, and lead on the migration to Halo at the appropriate time.
Prospect Research and Tracking
- Undertake prospect research to identify potential major donors among the College’s alumni and supporter base.
- Oversee research into alumni in particular regions in advance of College trips.
- Manage Pembroke’s prospect management processes, working with fundraisers and others to identify and assign new prospects within the team.
- Work with the Development Coordinator to prepare donor and prospect profiles ahead of events, trips, and meetings.
Insights, Trends and Segmentation
- Working closely with the Development Officer (Regular Giving and Legacies), proactively and creatively analyse patterns of giving to enable the team to target and segment Regular Giving appeals more effectively.
- Conduct research into wider sector giving trends, and provide recommendations for better engagement.
- Prepare regular reports on donor and engagement activities for the team and wider College, including the Development Committee and Campaign Board.
Gift Processing
- Ensure all changes to Direct Debits including cancellations and amendments are actioned in the agreed timescales. Communicate with donors in respect to these changes.
- Liaise regularly with the PCFNA (Pembroke’s 501(c)(3)) to ensure donations made through it are accurate.
- Record all donations including cheques/PCFNA/one-off bank payments as pledges on DARS.
- Identify missed pledge payments or recurring gifts.
- Support the Finance Business Partner in all Gift Aid administration including Gift Aid compliance, securing outstanding Gift Aid declarations and updating old Gift Aid declarations and review of non-eligible declarations.
- Liaise closely with the finance team to ensure donations are accurately classified and reported
- Ensure that gift agreements and associated commitments (e.g. Gift Aid, pledges, payment schedules) are recorded accurately and actioned.
- Research into historic donor funds, where necessary.
Gift Acceptance
- Manage the gift acceptance process, ensuring that the College accepts gifts appropriately and in line with its Gift Acceptance Policy and Fundraising Policy.
- Undertake all necessary research and due diligence on prospective donors, and liaise with the central University and third-party providers of due diligence services where required.
- Oversee the gift acknowledgement process.
Management
- Supervise (with a dotted line reporting relationship) the Development Coordinator, with particular responsibility for overseeing their work in the Operations functional area.
- Be available for regular 1:1 meetings and as a point of contact for any queries, and support their line manager in making sure they receive all necessary training, induction and information to succeed in their role.
Other
- In common with all posts, ensure compliance with the College’s policies and procedures, statutory obligations, and best practice.
- Be the principal liaison with the Gift Registry and DARS teams, and keep upto-date with changes/improvements to the system and how to utilise them.
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the Development Director, which may include travel and occasional event attendance outside standard working hours.

Our Programme

Role purpose and main responsibilities
To lead our work on the Next Gen Talent Career Programme and support our other programmes helping young people (aged 16 to 25) access careers in professional services, banking, insurance and property.
Through our programmes, we help to develop young people so that they are equipped with the professional insights and skills needed for the workplace. We do this via a high-quality curriculum of events, including masterclasses, bootcamps, career coaching and mentoring that involve our corporate volunteers.
The Senior Programme Manager will take the lead on delivering the programme and outcomes across the Next Gen Talent Career Programme; whilst working in a highly collaborative and flexible way alongside our other senior programme managers, career coach and the volunteering and events manager.
Main Responsibilities

Project manage the Next Gen Talent Career Programme to ensure that participants develop the skills and knowledge needed to access professional careers in Engineering.

Manage the recruitment process for the Next Gen Talent Career Programme, including advertising the programme to our existing pool of students and wider stakeholders, managing the application and interview process.

Work with young people, corporates, funders and consortium delivery partners to develop and enhance programme delivery.

Manage the promotion and delivery of high-quality in-person and online events; facilitating sessions where necessary, working with the career coach, volunteering and events manager and freelance staff.

Develop engaging programme collateral to maintain relevance and quality, working alongside the communications team and incorporating participant feedback and sector insights

Manage relationships, communications and briefings for funders, corporate partners and volunteers.

Heart Research UK is looking for an experienced, ambitious and proactive Corporate Fundraiser to join their growing fundraising team. In this exciting new role, you will help manage our existing portfolio of partners, as well as a significant focus on bringing on new corporate partners through direct outreach, networking, applications and pitches. Key responsibilities
· Grow our corporate portfolio by securing new partnerships with companies and maintaining a focus on researching, prospecting and approaching businesses to secure the fundraising target.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting the CEO
- Assist and support the CEO in the fulfilment of his/her responsibilities, including (but not limited to):
- Diary and other contact management, meetings booking and confirmation, including judgement on the level and appropriateness of engagement.
- Assist the CEO to prepare slide decks and other materials for presentations.
- Liaise with the Travel Officer and other departments to ensure all travel arrangements are made for the CEO as required. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to schedule meetings with the CEO and to ensure venues and arrangements are well prepared.

Supporting the Board and ParalympicsGB’s governance
- In collaboration with the Chair and the Head of Governance and Compliance:

- Ensure agenda and Board papers are uploaded to the Teams channel for Board members to access and assist with issues Board members may have accessing Teams.
- Prepare email responses, letters, briefing papers and other documents as required by the Chair in connection with BPA business.

- Plan for Board members attendance for the Games, being the key point of contact sharing information with both the Board and internal planning teams.

- Ensure planning deadlines are met in a timely manner and that internal and external stakeholders have been consulted with as required.
- Provide expertise to event leads to ensure ParalympicsGB events address accessibility in the planning and delivery, and that all events have a consistent look and feel.
- Ensure all Health & Safety risk assessments are done and risks are being managed.
- Coordinate all room/venue bookings and catering arrangements
- Support with venue research and recces and attend venue planning meetings

Job Purpose
The Marketing and Campaigns Manager is responsible for the delivery and implementation of the company’s marketing, campaigns and district event activity. You will lead on the planning and delivery of integrated marketing and engagement strategies and brand activations that enhance visibility, support our five-year business plan and strengthen stakeholder relationships. Campaigns, Content Creation and Management
- Schedule and manage the annual marketing calendar in line with company objectives.
- Develop tailored campaigns for audiences to drive member engagement, brand and district awareness.
