Summary of the role:
The Executive Officer to the CEO plays a central role within the CEO Office, supporting the Chief Executive Officer in delivering effective leadership and ensuring alignment across the organisation.
The postholder is responsible for providing high-level executive support to the CEO while acting as a key coordination point across the organisation. Real change rarely happens in a straight line. At our Milton House project, you’ll work alongside people who have experienced homelessness, trauma and multiple disadvantage, offering the consistency, practical support and belief that can help them begin moving forward.
As a Project Worker, you’ll hold a caseload and build purposeful, trusting relationships with clients. You’ll complete assessments, develop person-centred support and safety plans, and help people identify goals that feel meaningful and achievable to them. This could include supporting someone to improve their health, address substance use, manage their accommodation, strengthen their daily living skills or reconnect with services and opportunities in their community.
You’ll be there when situations become challenging, responding calmly to risk, safeguarding concerns and periods of crisis while continuing to recognise each person’s strengths and potential. This is a hands-on and varied role where no two days will look the same. About the role
This is a new senior role at WSC, with responsibility for developing and delivering our fundraising strategy and building the systems, relationships and income streams needed to support the organisation's next stage of growth.
The Fundraising Manager will take day-to-day ownership of WSC's fundraising function and pipeline, leading opportunities from prospect research and assessment through application, award, grant management and renewal. Our Higher Education (HE) Officer is responsible for our work with universities and other higher education providers, working in partnership with University Geoscience UK (UGUK) and other external bodies, in line with our Education Strategy. You will be designing, planning, and delivering projects aimed at improving outcomes for our student members, as well as other geoscience students globally, alongside other key stakeholders, and the wider geoscience community. You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on activities and progress alongside our JHEC, and contributing to our flagship initiative, ‘This is Geoscience’ focused on student enrolment and careers.

Role Overview
The Financial Controller is responsible for the effective and efficient day-to-day leadership of Premier’s finance function.
