We are currently looking for a Student Voice Department Manager. You will lead the team and shape the strategic development and delivery of KCLSU’s student voice work, and your responsibilities will include:

• Working with Associate Director of Community Engagement, supporting the strategic development and lead the operational implementation of the KCLSU and KCL Student Voice Partnership Agreement.

• Leading the Student Voice team to deliver proactive and responsive student voice engagement, ensuring an effective annual cycle of activity and the agility to respond to emerging issues across KCLSU, King’s College London and the wider student movement. 

• Overseeing day-to-day engagement with Student Officers and Representatives, ensuring they can identify, prioritise and engage with both long-standing and emerging issues affecting student communities throughout the year.

• Providing day-to-day operational management for 4 direct reports.

Marine Society have an exciting new role! Help us deliver and expand our core bursary and welfare services and support the needs of seafarers. You will manage our highly renowned Slater scholarship fund and other training bursaries, together with the Coming Ashore mentoring programme and careers advice and guidance resources.

About the role

This new role is to manage the bursary and welfare services of Marine Society. This requires an in depth understanding of seafarer’s needs and the training and certification they require to progress in their careers, both at sea and ashore. The manager will also oversee wider aspects of careers information and guidance and assisting with fundraising activity

Responsibilities

· Assess and process all bursary applications, including Slater Scholarships, Worcester, Hanway and Green Skills bursaries against clearly defined eligibility criteria

· Authorise the award of financial bursaries and approve beneficiary claims and expenses

· Maximise the use bursary funding and ensure successful outcomes for beneficiaries

· Identify new bursary funding opportunities and devise bids in collaboration with the fundraising team

· Manage the bursary and Coming Ashore programme restricted funds. Monitor and report on expenditure and activity

· Manage the operation of the Coming Ashore mentoring programme and ensure its sustainability

· Produce statistical reports and analysis pertaining to bursaries and welfare services for internal and external stakeholders.

· Put in place and maintain online and physical resources that provide seafarers with information, advice and guidance and supports maritime career development.

· To lead the annual Matrix accreditation process

· Work with the Digital Marketing Coordinator to ensure the effective marketing of bursary and welfare provision through a range of media and ensure the website remains up to date and relevant to seafarer needs.

· Represent Marine Society on external committees and forums that relate to welfare, including Merchant Navy Welfare Board and Nautilus Slater Management Committee

Requirements

• Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualifications/experience
• In depth knowledge and understanding of the training needs of UK and international seafarers including their welfare and certification routes within the maritime sector both at sea and ashore
• Experience of working as team leader or manager in the not-for-profit sector
• Experience of preparing and presenting reports to management team and funders as required
• Ability to use social media and press effectively to inform and promote seafarer welfare and professional development.

Job Purpose

The Area Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for Treasures Foundation’s new ambulatory detox facility and first-stage supported housing service. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed support for women experiencing multiple disadvantage, including addiction, abuse, coercive control, poverty, mental health challenges, and involvement with the criminal justice system.

The postholder will lead teams, oversee service delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive positive outcomes for women on their recovery journeys.

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the ambulatory detox service and supported housing provision.

Tenancy Support & Financial Wellbeing Project Worker

Wintercomfort works with people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or with a history of homelessness. We provide services to aid every stage of recovery -from immediate basic welfare needs to long term help in identifying and dealing with the problems which are undermining their stability, and enabling them to engage with education, employment and specialist health services.  National statistics rank the numbers of rough sleepers in Cambridge within the highest 20 UK local authorities. 

Wintercomfort is the only day-time service in the city, providing year-round advice and support for homeless or vulnerably housed people. Over the past three decades Wintercomfort has continued to grow and adapt to meet the needs of the homeless community. 

Our specialist Housing Team provides expert advice and support to help people successfully navigate the search for housing and crucially, support them to sustain life away from the street. 

About you and the Role 

As a member of Wintercomfort’s Project Worker Team, reporting to the Senior Tenancy Support Officer the Tenancy Support & Financial Wellbeing Project Worker is responsible for delivering Wintercomfort’s specialist range of 1:1 Pre and Post Tenancy Support, implementing proactive, holistic strategies designed to prevent people from losing their homes, whilst simultaneously providing them with the financial tools and capability needed to sustain stability, aimed at empowering Service Users to move out of the spiral of homelessness and back into mainstream society, preventing homelessness and foster financial inclusion.

Key Responsibilities 

• To provide emotional and practical support and assistance to prepare and assist Service Users to move into accommodation once a placement is confirmed, working with internal and external colleagues. To work in a flexible manner within Wintercomfort and the wider community to provide outreach and support services in person, occasionally in exceptional circumstances this could include in their own home when accompanied with external partners also includes via text, email, telephone and video calls.   
• To provide a wide range of resettlement-based support along with the Senior Tenancy Support Officer to ensure Service Users access the most suitable housing pathway for their individual needs. To take the lead on all housing related referrals for Service Users. To ensure all suitable Service Users are registered and supported on Homelink. 
• To provide crucial assistance to tenants, focusing on maintaining tenancies, managing money and debt and improving overall financial stability – including, signposting, budgeting, welfare benefits checks, rent arrears support, setting-up and managing utilities, housing related life skills, offering guidance and support to enable Service Users to maintain their own homes, aiming to prevent eviction and enhance quality of life. 
• To provide on-going long term tenancy support to Service Users moving into independent living, this includes private rental housing or alternative housing pathways without any on site support. To assist with hand over post tenancy support to accommodation providers at a suitable point in the Service User support pathway, with the aim of enabling long-term independence.
• To ensure all Service Users have access to external grants and any available funding to support their individual needs to maintain their accommodation. Signposting and assisting with applications for funding to assist people moving into accommodation are supported with the appropriate items: floor coverings, white goods, basic furniture and home furnishings. 
• To support residents to keep their current homes, including mediation with landlords, accessing legal support on evictions, addressing anti-social behaviour, identifying high risk groups targeting support towards vulnerable groups such as those fleeing difficulties, leaving prison, hospital or care systems. 
• To ensure that accurate records are kept, documenting the support services provided to Wintercomfort’s service users onto the Salesforce/Inform system. Ensuring that record keeping meets the requirements of internal and external monitoring of outcomes, assisting with reports and case studies to the fundraising team.

Aims and scope of the post

The aim of this post is to ensure sound financial management to support the organisation’s ongoing charitable work. The Finance Manager is responsible for CT’s financial strategy, timely and accurate financial administration, maintenance of financial and management accounts, as well as cash flow, stock control, payroll and pension.

Responsibilities and tasks

Budgeting and forecasting

• Produce annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and scenario models for the organisation budget.
• Support budget forecasting for project tenders, ensuring due diligence and financial viability.

Reporting

• Produce quarterly management accounts, including variance reports, analysis by income streams, and cashflow forecasts.
• Prepare and present financial reports for the quarterly board meetings and biannual audit committee meeting.
• Produce minutes of the audit committee meetings and contribute to the minutes of board meetings.
• Complete statutory reporting to Companies House, the Charity Commission and HMRC.

Financial management

Essential knowledge, skills and qualities

• A part-qualified accountant or equivalent knowledge gained through relevant experience.

The Role

The Programmes Manager (Education) leads DTL’s schools work, owning the relationships, logistics, and outcomes that sit at the heart of our education offer. This is a delivery role with real breadth: you will manage a national programme of training events, lead on school recruitment and retention, and ensure the programme generates the evidence base that sustains its long-term funding.

You will be the main point of contact for subscribing schools, working closely with the CEO and Head of Partnerships. You will represent DTL’s schools work to funders and external partners, and contribute to the strategic development of the programme over time.

While the Digital Ambassador Programme is currently grant funded for three years, DTL’s intention is for the programme to become financially self-sustaining through school subscriptions, and this role is central to achieving that. As the programme grows, so will the scope of this post and the team to support it

The Digital Ambassador Programme

The Digital Ambassador Programme is DTL’s flagship schools initiative. It trains staff and student Digital Ambassadors in schools across the UK, equipping them to lead on digital safety from within - and to escalate harmful content directly via DTL’s trusted flagger network.

This model creates both a faculty lead to manage complex reports from young people and also a student lead who will be able to provide peer-to-peer support to their fellow students, ensuring that students who may not wish to report directly to the faculty will still have a reporting mechanism. 

Key Responsibilities

Programme delivery

• Manage all delivery phases from set up through to annual review, in line with the agreed delivery plan.

• Coordinate the logistics of 6 regional hub training events per year, including venue sourcing, school invitations, materials production, and on-the-day facilitation.

• Oversee the production of printed resources and ensure all school-facing materials meet DTL brand standards.

• Manage the year-round ambassador network: quarterly online meetings, monthly email digests, and peer-to-peer community activity.

School recruitment and retention

• Lead school recruitment and retention

• Manage all school relationships as point of contact from initial contact through to annual renewal.

Monitoring, evaluation and reporting

• Implement the M&E framework in partnership with DTL’s external consultant

Internal coordination

• Manage the project timeline and risk register, keeping the team informed and escalating risks promptly.

• Coordinate with the Youth Engagement Coordinator, who leads youth-facing content and ambassador engagement.

Person Specification

Essential

• Demonstrable experience in project or programme management, ideally in the charity or education sector.

• Strong project management skills, particularly working to a timeline

• Experience working with schools, local authorities, or youth-facing organisations.

• Confident communicator - written and verbal - able to build and sustain relationships with school staff, funders, and partners.

Part-Time Finance Manager (22.5 hours per week) – £25,062.60 pa (FTE £41,771) -  Salford – Hybrid

Our client is a dedicated charity based in Salford and are looking to expand their finance team by recruiting to the new post of Finance Manager. The postholder will lead the finance function, ensuring that robust financial systems, processes and controls are in place to safeguard the organisation and enable informed decision-making.

They will provide high-quality financial insight, maintain the integrity of financial information, and oversee the delivery of accurate and compliant financial operations—including payroll, management reporting and audit preparation.

The Role :

• Produce accurate and timely quarterly management accounts, including all supporting schedules and reconciliations.  
• Support the annual budgeting process, including entering budgets into the finance system and updating records as programmes evolve.
• Monitor organisational and project budgets throughout the year, highlighting risks, variances and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare costings for funding bids, tenders and proposals to ensure full cost recovery and sustainable delivery.

Exciting Coordinator role at the heart of a national refugee and climate action project - 'Action Asylum'. Based in Liverpool, starts July 2026.

Action Asylum is a national, community-led, nature-based volunteering project that brings people seeking asylum and local residents together through practical climate and nature action - tree planting, habitat restoration, beach cleans, and food growing. Delivered across ten cities through a cross-sector network of refugee-sector organisations, Wildlife Trusts and local green partners, the project improves wellbeing and belonging, strengthens community cohesion, and contributes to nature recovery and climate resilience.

The project is led by Task Force Trust and we have secured funding for the 3 year project. A Central Coordination Team (CCT), hosted by Asylum Link Merseyside in Liverpool, provides national strategic oversight, partner coordination, communications, and evaluation across the full network.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, values-driven coordinator to join the Action Asylum Central Coordination Team as National Coordinator. This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of a genuinely innovative national project - one that sits at the intersection of migration, climate action, and community.

The National Coordinator is the operational engine of Action Asylum's national network. You will be the primary point of contact for Project Leads across all ten cities, keeping delivery on track, ensuring robust monitoring and reporting, and supporting partners to deliver safe, inclusive, high-quality programmes. You will also coordinate the Skills Exchange Programme, work jointly with the Project Director on the University of Nottingham's independent evaluation, and line-manage the Liverpool Action Asylum Project Lead.

You will be based at Asylum Link Merseyside in Liverpool as part of the CCT, working closely with the Project Director (your line manager), the Finance Manager, and the National Comms Officer. Flexible working is available and regular in-person presence at the CCT base is expected. The role is 4 days per week (0.8 FTE) on a fixed-term contract aligned to the three-year project (July 2026 – June 2029), with an expected start date of Monday 6 July 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for all ten city-level delivery partners, convening monthly national Project Lead meetings and quarterly national partnership network meetings.

• Manage the CODA reporting system, ensure timely partner reporting, compile bi-annual reports for funders, and support the University of Nottingham's independent evaluation (access, logistics, and city-level data - jointly with the Project Director).

• Oversee the continued co-production and delivery of the Skills Exchange Programme with all delivery partners and Wildlife Trusts throughout the three-year project.

• Support local partners with communications activity, contribute to the quarterly national newsletter, and work with the National Comms Officer and IMIX Media to ensure consistent, inclusive messaging across the network.

• Support the Project Director - who holds national safeguarding lead responsibility - in maintaining the project-wide safeguarding framework, risk log, and partner training records.

• Line-manage the Liverpool Action Asylum Project Lead (PL), who holds a combined role spanning Action Asylum project delivery and ALM's wider community wellbeing programme. This includes biannual supervisions, supporting the PL to meet their combined objectives, and offering pastoral support as needed.

• Play a key coordination role in national annual events (Year 2 Liverpool meet-up and Year 3 closing celebration) and support funder network engagement.

About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

• Experience working in the refugee, asylum or migrant sector, with a genuine understanding of the barriers and strengths within these communities.

• Strong project coordination and network management skills - comfortable holding multiple relationships and workstreams simultaneously.

• Experience with monitoring, evaluation and reporting, including data management and funder reporting.

• Excellent facilitation skills and confidence leading virtual meetings with diverse participants.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail - able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively.

• Experience of, or confidence in, line managing or supervising staff, with a supportive and accountable management style.

• A warm, collaborative working style with a genuine commitment to equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice.
