About the role
Leading innovation across the organisation, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a strategy to grow our movement, to increase our membership and reach whilst ensuring we continue to reflect the needs and aspirations of women. You will oversee research into women’s evolving needs and preferences, whilst testing approaches with new external audiences to maximise our relevance, diversity and inclusivity. About you
Highly experienced in innovation, organisational development or programme management, you will bring an impressive track record of instigating and managing successful organisational change that leads to sustainable income generation. You will be adept at designing and delivering pilot programmes, as well as commissioning research and deploying data to support action. The role requires excellent communication skills and the confidence to advise and lead at both senior leadership and Board level, as the organisation looks to you to lead fundamental organisational change. The Operations Assistant provides the coordination, administration and organisational support that enables New Wine's Operations Team to flourish.
Working closely with the Head of Operations, this role supports the smooth running of the charity by coordinating recruitment administration, governance processes, office operations, compliance records, events and organisational systems.

Role Particulars
Working Pattern
Full-time, including weekly (Tuesday) in-person team meetings in London. The rhythm is as follows: All-staff meetings on 1st and 3rd week of the month, and individual Operational team days on the 2nd and 4th week of the month. The nature of this role means that some travel and working away from home will be required, as agreed in advance. Specifically, the post holder must be available for the annual leadership conference and the New Wine summer festival.

Supervision
The post holder will receive regular supervision from the Head of Operations.

This is a 9-month part-time maternity cover contract, requiring 21 hours of work per week. The pro-rated salary for this role is £28,005 per annum. The postholder is expected to work from their offices in Victoria a minimum of 3 days every 2 weeks.
The postholder will coordinate the delivery of event plans across the fundraising products and London Marathon income stream on a pan-Charity basis, meeting strict deadlines and budget requirements to achieve efficiency and productivity from the income stream. The Role
As a People and Payroll Assistant, you will provide a professional, accurate and responsive administration service across the charity. The role focuses on payroll and benefits administration, recruitment support, maintaining accurate employee data across People systems, and supporting wider People Team activity.
Supporting the People Officer, the post holder will play an important role in ensuring payroll, benefits, recruitment and employee records are administered accurately and within agreed timescales. This includes preparing documentation and letters, updating systems and employee files, following up outstanding information, responding to routine employee and manager queries, producing reports, and supporting activity linked to training, induction, wellbeing and inclusion.
Specifically, you will:
Provide a professional HR administration service to managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle, in line with charity policies, procedures, employment law and good practice.
Support regular employee drop-in sessions, for example on PDRs or Cezanne queries, helping to resolve issues at an early stage.
Maintain accurate People system records, including annual leave, sickness absence, changes to terms and conditions and personal details.

No two days will be the same. The Finance and Operations Officer is a key member of the Diocesan Education team, responsible for the financial management and operations of the company.
