The 999 Club

The 999 Club has stood on the corner of Deptford Broadway for more than 30 years, working with and supporting the local community. Our focus now is on people who are street homeless, rough sleeping or precariously unhoused and those who have no recourse to public funds. As  we are the 999 Club, everyone connected to us are our members.

The Gateway

Our day centre, The Gateway, is open five days a week and provides a welcoming, safe and friendly space where our members can spend time away from their usual situation and sort out practicalities like getting laundry done, taking a shower, charging their phone and having something to eat. It’s where our Intervention Team are often based as part of their work, empowering our members.

The Intervention Team

Working alongside the Essential Services Team and an amazing team of volunteers the Intervention Team provide triage, assessment, holistic progression planning, advocacy and support for members of the Gateway, identifying and addressing their immediate housing situation as well as wider social, health and wellbeing issues with the ultimate aim of them finding a pathway out of homelessness.

We want a team member with common sense, who is assertive, compassionate, has a sense of humour, a no- nonsense, positive attitude and who is looking to make a difference in their community.

We’re recruiting a Complex Intervention Worker to work alongside Gateway members who are experiencing homelessness with overlapping challenges such as addiction, trauma or mental ill health. This would best suit someone with experience or really solid transferable skills.

Job Purpose: 

The International HR Operations Administrator provides pro-active, generalist HR operations support to all staff. This role involves supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, on-boarding and orientation, performance management, learning and development, monthly payroll, benefits administration, as well as assisting with HR administration and the HR system. 

Key to this role is the ability to be efficient and well-organised, as well as to build strong working relationships, and manage HR-related issues in a professional and timely manner. 

Scope and Limits of Authority: 

The post holder is expected to organise their own day-to-day activities according to the overall priorities and timescales set.

Key Responsibilities: 

HR Strategy, Planning & Budgets 

● Processing HR activity invoices, ensuring accurate reporting in line with agreed budget criteria 

HR Policies & Processes 

● Supporting staff to understand and comply with HR policies and procedures as needed and raising any concerns to line managers. 

Global Resourcing & Payroll 

● Assisting with all recruitment activity, including finalising job descriptions, planning recruitment activity, placing adverts, support with selection and appointment processes, and scheduling interviews 

● Assisting with the monthly payroll for all staff globally, including providing relevant information to outsourced employment (EOR) and payroll only providers, processing invoices and maintaining relevant records; tracking payroll changes for all staff 

● Assisting with administration related to cost of living reviews (e.g. writing letters, updating the HR system) 

● Assisting with the management of all benefit administration including pension, Employee Assistance Programme, Life Assurance etc. 

● Assisting with the effective on-boarding of new starters and managing the orientation process

Are you a dynamic, collaborative and compassionate individual with a proven track record as a caseworker delivering gender specific and trauma responsive interventions which support resettlement and rehabilitation of female adults in the criminal justice system, whether in the community or in prisons?

If so, St Giles is looking for a Female Link Worker who will be responsible for providing an initial assessment and a time-effective, whole-system support service for women within the Norfolk area who have come into contact with the Criminal Justice System.

The service users supported by this role will be individuals facing various and multiple disadvantages, including; mental health needs, housing issues, debt, substance misuse, family and relationship issues, individuals who have suffered domestic and sexual abuse, and those at risk of offending or reoffending.  You will be required to tailor the service to meet the needs of the women on your caseload and assist in diverting them away from the Criminal Justice System.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The post holder will share responsibility with the whole Asylum Aid legal team, and partner organisations to ensure that:

· There is a clear focus on agreed priority areas of work and that cases are taken on in line in with those priorities.

· Relevant stakeholders are engaged in developing the work so that they can participate as effectively as possible.

· Asylum Aid does not duplicate work being delivered elsewhere but is able to collaborate with external partners where appropriate.

· The lessons and successes of Asylum Aid are disseminated outside the team and are able to be applied as widely as possible.

Casework

Following an Independent Peer Review Asylum Aid’s casework has been rated as ‘excellent’.

The post holder will, with support from the team, be expected to:

· Provide high quality advice and representation for clients, NGOs, practitioners and other groups as appropriate,

· Conduct and co-ordinate immigration/asylum/public law casework and litigation on behalf of organisations and individuals,

· Coordinate law clinic programmes together with other Asylum Aid staff,

· Conduct legal and country background research where necessary, and

· Record all work undertaken, using Asylum Aid’s case management system, and prepare cases for billing to ensure all income is accounted for accurately and in a timely manner.

If the postholder holds Supervisor accreditation, and is appointed as a Supervisor, your responsibilities will include the full responsibilities of a Supervisor, including responsibilities for the work of people under their supervision.

The post holder will be expected to carry out their casework with a high degree of professionalism, and in such a way as to meet relevant external standards (e.g. Law Society, Solicitors Regulation Authority, Immigration Advice Authority and Lexcel). They will also be expected to meet performance targets in relation to time recording/chargeable hours.

Training and Information Work

The post holder will share responsibility with the other members of the legal team to:

· Develop and disseminate relevant information on legal developments in their area of work/expertise to relevant stakeholders, supported by the team,

· Attend and contribute to both internal meetings and relevant external meetings, and

· Prepare and deliver training on areas of their work/expertise.

Administration

The post holder will:

· Contribute to the fulfilment of any reporting requirements to funders, the LAA, Asylum Aid management team and others,

· Undertake general administration,

· represent the MLP team and Asylum Aid externally as necessary,

· Undertake other tasks appropriate to the role as necessary,

· Attend Asylum Aid staff, and any relevant meetings of the Helen Bamber Foundation Group when necessary,

· Occasionally travel outside the UK at short notice and be willing to work outside office hours where necessary. Time off in lieu and overtime are available where appropriate,

· Record their own work, using Asylum Aid’s case management system, and participate in the evaluation and review of the wider team at Asylum Aid, and

· Lexcel - all legal staff are required to participate in the procedures developed in response to Lexcel requirements e.g. regularly reviewing and recording review of own files.

About the Role

The Sheffield Therapeutic Services for Resettled Refugees (STSRR) is based within therapeutic services in the Resettlement Team in South Yorkshire. The Resettlement team provides advice and support for resettled refugees to help them access services and mainstream provision and establish community links. Working closely with local stakeholders and in partnership with other voluntary sector agencies, the Refugee Council Resettlement team promotes both the integration and independence of this group.

The Psychological Therapist role is to provide one-to-one psychological therapy to resettled refugees presenting with mental distress. We have adopted a psychosocial perspective and use a specially tailored care model to address the needs of our clients. The team have supported resettled adult refugees in South Yorkshire by providing short-term one-to-one therapeutic support since September 2017.

Role overview: 

This is a new and developing service focused on increasing accessibility to stalking support for underrepresented and marginalised communities across London.  The postholder will play a key role in designing, embedding, and delivering this community-based model, working closely with community groups, partners, and volunteers whilst holding a small caseload leading to building trusted pathways into service for communities that may face barriers to accessing traditional support. 

The role will oversee two key initiatives: 

1. Community First Responders:  Trained volunteers with lived and/or professional experience (including LGBTQ+ communities, racially minoritised groups, victims with disabilities, neurodivergent individuals, and those with other accessibility needs) who provide face-to-face stalking support and awareness across London. 

2. Community Champions: Staff/volunteers within third-party organisations within the London ecosystem of service providers who are trained to provide first-responder level support within their own communities. 

The role builds and manages networks of community champions and first responders while holding a reduced advocacy caseload. 

Initially office-based (London) for 3 months to support a meaningful induction, moving to a blended working model (40% office / 60% home).

Purpose of the Role

The Head of Operations is the most senior staff member at PACE and the primary day-to-day operational lead for the organisation. The postholder will ensure that services for children and young people are delivered safely, consistently, and to a high standard across all three sites, and that the organisation's systems, finances, people, and compliance obligations are properly managed.

This is an operational leadership role with responsibility for translating the Board's strategic direction into effective day-to-day delivery. The postholder will work closely with the Board of Trustees, who retain strategic governance responsibility, and will be the principal point of accountability for performance across all services. The postholder will also act as Designated Safeguarding Lead for the organisation

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership and Service Delivery

• Take day-to-day operational responsibility for all PACE services across all three sites, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and safe delivery.

• Support and line manage Senior Centre Managers and Service Managers, providing clear direction, regular supervision, and accountability.

• Ensure all services meet regulatory requirements including EYFS, Ofsted standards, safeguarding and child protection legislation, and disability inclusion policy.

• Maintain and develop operational policies and procedures that reflect best practice in service delivery for children and young people, including those with additional needs.

• Identify and respond to operational risks across sites, escalating to the Board where appropriate.

2. Safeguarding

• Act as the organisation's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), maintaining overall responsibility for safeguarding practice across all sites.

• Ensure centre managers and service leads fulfil their DSL responsibilities and that training, records, and incident reporting are consistent, up to date, and audit-ready.

• Lead the organisation's response to any safeguarding concern or Ofsted inspection, maintaining transparent and proactive communication with commissioners and the Board.

• Embed a culture of safeguarding awareness and accountability across the whole staff team.

3. Financial Management and Budget Oversight

• Work with the Finance team to manage the organisation's annual budget, ensuring income and expenditure are tracked accurately and reported monthly.

• Hold budget holder accountability across service and centre level, ensuring managers understand and operate within their agreed financial envelopes.

• Monitor income streams - including statutory contracts, parental fees, grants, and fundraised income - and alert the Board to variances or risks in a timely manner.

• Support income generation through effective contract delivery, occupancy management, and proactive relationship management with commissioners.

• Oversee the Fundraising Manager's workload and priorities, ensuring fundraising activity is aligned to operational need and deliverable commitments are accurate before submission.

4. Human Resources and Workforce Management

• Lead, support, and develop the staff team, fostering a culture of professionalism, consistency, and accountability.

• Work with the HR Consultant to ensure HR processes - including onboarding, probation, sickness management, performance management, and offboarding - are followed correctly and documented appropriately.

• Conduct regular line management meetings and appraisals with direct reports, setting clear expectations and addressing performance issues promptly and fairly.

• Manage staffing levels and deployment across sites to ensure services are appropriately resourced, proportionate to demand and income, and compliant with contractual ratios.

• Address workforce culture issues, reducing reliance on informal decision-making and ensuring accountability is embedded at all levels of the team.

5. Commissioner and Stakeholder Relationships

• Maintain and develop the organisation's relationships with Camden commissioners, the Play Providers Forum, Family Hubs, and other statutory and voluntary sector partners.

• Ensure proactive, transparent, and timely communication with Camden regarding service delivery, performance data, and any operational concerns.

• Represent PACE at external meetings, forums, and events as required.

• Support the development of community partnerships that extend the reach and impact of PACE's services.

6. Compliance, Governance and Risk

• Ensure organisational compliance with all relevant regulatory frameworks including Ofsted, EYFS, charity law, and employment legislation.

• Maintain and regularly review operational policies, risk registers, and compliance records, ensuring they are current and accessible across all sites.

• Provide the Board of Trustees with regular, concise, and accurate reports on operational performance, financial position, safeguarding, staffing, and risk.

• Support Board governance by preparing timely papers, flagging decisions required, and maintaining clear separation between operational management and trustee oversight.

7. Systems, Monitoring and Evaluation

• Embed consistent, documented operational systems across all sites, reducing reliance on individual knowledge and informal workarounds.

• Develop and maintain monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track service quality, outcomes for children and families, and contractual KPIs.

• Oversee the organisation's use of operational systems including safeguarding software, HR and payroll platforms, invoicing, and timekeeping tools.

Produce and sign off external impact reports for funders and commissioners

Essentials:

• Experience in an operational management role within a children's services, play, youth work, education, or social care setting

• At least 3 years in a management role with direct line management of multiple staff or teams

• Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience of safeguarding children, including DSL-level responsibility

• Experience managing multi-site or multi-service delivery

• Sound financial literacy: budget management, variance analysis, and income/expenditure monitoring

• Experience of working with Ofsted regulatory frameworks, including EYFS

• Strong people management skills: supervision, appraisal, performance management, and HR process compliance

• Experience working with, and reporting to, a Board of Trustees or equivalent governance body

• To develop trusted professional relationships with young people to steer them to alternative positive outcomes through interventions, workshops and open access sport.
• This role will involve a mix of working in schools and in the community, both within the day and evenings to work with local young people.
• To support the Youth Intervention Manager to plan, organise and deliver a range of workshops, sports activities and community outreach programmes and events that work towards achieving all KPI targets set within the Rushcliffe Borough Council Service Level Agreement
• Act as a key contact point for referral partners to ensure regular updates on young people’s progress are shared.
• To undertake administrative duties including day to day management of:

o Activity registers.

o Provide regular monitoring and evaluation of delivery.

o Ensure all notes and timeline events are recorded per individual on Upshot.

o Regularly collect surveys that will assist in providing evidence for impact of delivery to funding partners.

o Gathering of ASDAN accreditation evidence to be submitted.

• To ensure all relevant Health & Safety and Child Protection/Safeguarding policies and legislation are adhered to.
• To support our young people within educational settings, specifically around behaviour interventions and working with those on the edge of exclusion, truanting and developing poor behaviour traits.
• Work in unison with the Youth Intervention Manager to identify new potential partnerships and to manage existing ones through partner delivery and meetings.
• Build aspirations, recognising poor behaviours, create schemes of work specific to each young person and signpost into further diversionary activities. 
• To support the reduction of youth crime and ASB within each of the three targeted areas in Rushcliffe (Cotgrave, East Leake and West Bridgford).
• To provide signposting and advocacy for young people and families needing to access other services.

· Work closely with the Safeguarding Manager to gain advice and report any safeguarding concerns relating to young people within the Positive Futures Programme. Support the review of a safeguarding reporting process.

· Lead on the development of the Ambassadors programme delivery across all three target areas (West Bridgford, Cotgrave and East Leake), working towards:
