The Diocese of Leicester is seeking a dedicated Regional Net Zero Carbon Fundraising Officer to support the delivery of Net Zero Carbon (NZC) projects across five Church of England dioceses: Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, Peterborough, and Southwell & Nottingham.

This is a meaningful opportunity to shape and strengthen the financial foundations of a transformative, region‑wide programme helping churches, schools, clergy housing and diocesan buildings reduce carbon emissions and respond to the climate crisis.

About the role

As Regional Net Zero Carbon Fundraising Officer, you will lead a collaborative and strategic approach to NZC fundraising across the region. You will work closely with diocesan NZC teams, environmental officers, church buildings staff, clergy, and national colleagues to identify funding opportunities and secure essential investment for a wide range of decarbonisation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of fundable NZC projects across the five dioceses.
• Prepare funding applications and proposals, ensuring all required documentation is gathered.
• Build strong relationships with funders, local authorities, Net Zero Hubs and community energy groups.
• Create and update a regional directory of NZC funding opportunities for dioceses and parishes.
• Provide training, guidance and clear communication on fundraising best practice, including promoting opportunities through diocesan channels.
• Collaborate widely across diocesan teams, national NZC colleagues and fundraising networks, sharing learning and supporting partnership working.

• You will bring expertise in fundraising, exceptional relationship‑building skills, and a strong understanding of the environmental or charitable funding landscape. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
• Degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience, with a strong track record of securing grants from statutory and other funders.
• Ability to build effective relationships with funders and key decision‑makers.
• Confident communicator (written and verbal) with excellent IT skills.

Kairos Women Working Together (Kairos) was founded in 1999 by a group of women in Coventry who recognised that those facing multiple disadvantages, and therefore most at risk of sexual exploitation, were falling through the cracks of existing services. To do this we are seeking an organised, empathetic, and proficient individual to ensure the smooth operation of our hub.

This part-time role provides essential front-of-house support—greeting and assisting women arriving at the hub with sensitivity and professionalism —while also handling a broad range of administrative duties. Overview of Post

The Operations & Administration Support role is a vital part-time position responsible for the seamless operational flow of Kairos. Key duties encompass a broad range of administrative functions, from managing the main email inbox and creating visual content to accurate data entry and essential record-keeping. The role provides front-of-house support, welcoming women and visitors attending our Women’s Hub and ensuring its smooth running through monitoring and ordering essential supplies and liaising with CV Life regarding building maintenance and cleaning services. Main Responsibilities

Digital & Communications

• Manage the admin email inbox, responding to all queries promptly and forwarding communications to relevant staff members as appropriate

• Use online graphic design tools to create visual content such as posters, signs and information sheets for use in the Women’s Hub and on social media.

Reception

• Use knowledge of local services, advocacy, and rights to direct women to appropriate support, so ensuring no one leaves without assistance or alternative referral options

Compliance & Governance

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Mental Health & Wellbeing Project Worker to contribute to the development and delivery of flexible support services which address the psychological and emotional needs of children, young people and families living with the effects of domestic abuse, in North Tyneside and Northumberland. You will help to develop, organise and facilitate key aspects of the service as requested by the Team Coordinator such one-to-one support interventions, group work, and youth participation opportunities in a variety of settings including in-house, schools and community venues. Post is to be predominantly based in Northumberland.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver flexible one to one support sessions, using a range of interventions to assess and positively contribute to the individual wellbeing needs of children and young people impacted by domestic abuse.
• Support service users, particularly within the 11-16 age group to develop personal and life skills, promoting self-esteem and independence, and raising awareness of other support services and opportunities available to them and their families.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of group work, activities and events, including the continued development of service user participation
• Work in partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure coordinated care and refer service users to additional sources of help and protection as needed.

About the team​

The Investment Team is responsible for selecting portfolio partners, managing our charity investments and supporting our portfolio partners to improve and scale their impact.

The Investment Team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.

The team is made up of 19 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.

The team is led by a Portfolio Director who sits on the Senior Management Team. The Portfolio Director has 5 direct reports: a Deputy Portfolio Director, three Sector Leads (who lead our work in School engagement, School attainment and Employment Sectors) and an Impact Lead. Sector Leads line manage 6 Investment Directors. Investment Directors line manage Investment Managers (currently 6). Investment Directors and Investment Managers tend to primarily focus on a sector but might have mixed portfolios, depending on need, experience and interest.

The Investment Team has a good track record of role progression. All four Leads and a number of our Investment Directors were promoted from within the team.

• Supporting the annual cycle of identifying new investments - mapping the landscape of charities in thematic areas (e.g. Apprenticeships and Skills), conducting structured analysis of key impact and financial data and reviewing the current evidence base to identify high potential charities and inform options for Investment Directors.

Overall Objectives

To support women who have been subjected to domestic abuse, ‘so called’ honor-based abuse and or forced marriage to navigate the barriers faced in their journey to recovery.

To provide holistic and trauma-informed support to women residing across Pdap’s refuge services who have experienced domestic abuse. The post will have a strong emphasis on supporting empowerment through one to one and group-based activities. This role will deliver targeted interventions, facilitate group activities that promote confidence and self-efficacy, and provide flexible, ad hoc support to a small caseload of women.

The successful applicant will embody the Pdap values and keep the client at the heart of everything they do.

Particular Tasks of the Postholder

The postholder will provide client-centred support and advocate for victims of domestic abuse by;

1. Providing bespoke 1 to 1 support sessions:

• Provide one-to-one support tailored to the needs of women affected by domestic abuse.

• Help women rebuild post-abuse.

• Complete support plans with women to ascertain their needs and work with them to achieve their goals

• To support women to access housing and other key services

• To ensure women have the means to live independently including support to access finance and education

2. Facilitating Group Activities

• Alongside the wider DAP team to design and facilitate a regular programme of group activities aimed at building confidence, skills, and emotional wellbeing.

• Promote peer support, personal development, and recovery through workshops on topics such as self-esteem, healthy relationships, assertiveness, and life skills.

• Encourage participation and co-production by involving women in planning and leading group sessions where appropriate.

3. Individual Support

• Hold a small, manageable caseload and provide responsive, ad hoc support as needed.

• Conduct holistic, trauma-informed assessments, support plans and safety planning.

• Empower women to make informed choices and access relevant services (e.g. legal, housing, benefits, health).

• Advocate on behalf of residents where necessary to ensure their rights and needs are met.

4. Partnership and Safeguarding

• Work closely with external agencies (e.g. social services, schools, health professionals) to ensure coordinated support.

Citizens Cymru Wales has developed an innovative approach to reducing youth violence with community organising at its heart, working across four unique assumptions:  

• ‘It takes a village to raise a child’  

• ‘Anger without power leads to rage’  

• ‘Recognising the need to address Adverse Community Experiences’  

• ‘If you are not at the table, you’re on the menu’  

In 2021 it developed a community led action plan to address youth violence in the neighbourhoods of Butetown and Grangetown. This work then secured £1m funding from the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) to demonstrate how community organising can improve the lives of children and young people. Across Grangetown and Butetown, almost 2500 people were listened to, and issues workshops took place from which seven interventions were identified including Mental health, Additional Learning Needs and Literacy, an Employment partnership, Sports and diversionary activities and local microgrants. Each intervention is led by a local community-based organisation. At the heart of the work is building a hyperlocal community organising alliance.  Underpinning the work is the development of a Youth Action Zone, a youth-led multi-agency partnership to support young people in the neighbourhood for the long term. The project is in its final year of delivery and needs a locally based project manager to support the current organisations to fulfil the action plan and build a long-term legacy.

Main Responsibilities 

This is a unique role, focused on project management but embedding community organising. As project organiser for Butetown and Grangetown Neighbourhood Fund you will support the project aims, enabling core partners and intervention leads to fulfil the action plan and build a legacy for the long term. Alongside this, you will develop a craft of community organising, working closely with civic organisations based in the neighbourhoods, understanding local power and building partnerships with wider stakeholders, and developing local institutions and youth leaders. All of this should ladder up to building the power of the broader Cardiff Citizens alliance. 

You will embed the ethos of community organising across the project and its legacy by: 

• developing the leadership of people within local organisations - our 'leaders' who lead the campaigns we work on 

• helping them to collectively identify the changes they want to see and create strategies to win those changes 

• strengthen institutions’ own abilities to achieve their missions. 

• Support leaders in connecting the hyperlocal work to the Cardiff Citizens alliance – developing their capacity to work with other leaders and civic institutions across the city to develop collective ambitions and actions (leading up to the 2027 Local Authority elections). 

We envisage the role to be roughly 2 days project management and 1 day Community Organising, but given the nature of the project, these will naturally bleed into one another. 

Working as the Project Organiser for Citizens UK, your main responsibilities will include:

We're looking for a Data & Systems Lead who will work on our systems and evaluation to support Khulisa to grow its impact and reach through efficient ways of working and clear narration of its impact.

About Khulisa

Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime

Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. Currently, our services are active in London and Manchester.

About the role

Khulisa has invested heavily in the development of its monitoring and evaluation framework, alongside augmenting its evaluation capacity and capability through innovation. This role brings together the synergies between systems and evaluation developments to support the organisation to grow both its impact and its reach through efficient ways of working and clear narration of its impact. This role will involve:

• Managing the day-to-day maintenance and smooth running of Khulisa’s main CRM and reporting systems, including – but not limited to – Salesforce, PowerBI, FormAssembly and Wonde.
• Leading the change management of system development work, supporting colleagues to engage with systems changes and achieve greater results for the young people we serve.
• Ensuring the day-to-day operating of Khulisa’s data recording, processing and reporting processes.
• Continually refining and improving Khulisa’s internal MEL capacity including our evaluation systems; organisational and programme Theories of Change; evaluation indicators; data collection tools and define system improvements.
• Supporting the scoping and design of new programmes by providing data from past programmes, insights from beneficiaries and service-users, research into best practice and offer ongoing guidance on establishing best practice MEL systems and processes.

This is a hybrid role, with the post holder required to work mostly from home but with access to desk space in our London office. Travel to various locations in London and the North-West of England may also be necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role.

What we're looking for

Abilities/Experiences

• Mixed methods research skills with experience in taking overall end-to-end accountability for large-scale research and evaluation projects (from identifying objectives and developing the most appropriate approaches to the delivery of learning activities, through to complex analysis and production of robust, engaging research outputs, generation and sharing of recommendations); 
• Experience in communicating research effectively and for action with a wide range of audiences (policymakers, leaders in other charities, funders & cross-function internal teams); 
• Experience in developing and using Theories of Change; 
• Experience working on design/innovation projects; 
• Experience conducting research & evaluation with disadvantaged groups; 
• Experience in working towards or leading organisational change; 
• Experience in creative methods of communication and dissemination (e.g. data visualisation, infographics, video/other digital methods etc); 
• Experience facilitating internal analysis workshops to develop shared recommendations; 
• Experience of working with a wide range of CRM and evaluation software including Excel, Salesforce, PowerBI and others.

Salford CVS is recruiting a Volunteering Development Worker (Women and Girls in Football) to lead our work in increasing the participation of women and girls in off-pitch volunteering roles across grassroots football in Salford. This new role has been created in alignment with The FA’s priorities to strengthen inclusive volunteer pathways and ensure club and league environments are welcoming, supportive and accessible for female volunteers.

The main purpose of the post is to increase the number of female volunteers in off-pitch roles across grassroots football in Salford by supporting clubs, leagues, sessional football providers and community groups to create, promote and sustain inclusive volunteer opportunities. The role will coordinate learning and development for volunteers, help organisations understand their volunteer needs, and strengthen their capacity to recruit, retain and recognise women and girls in volunteering.

You will use Salford CVS’s established volunteering expertise to support England Accredited clubs, leagues and sessional football providers to attract, recruit and retain more female volunteers. This includes addressing known barriers such as lack of visible role models, sex-based discrimination, childcare demands that fall disproportionately on women, limited flexibility and traditional recruitment practices that may favour men.

Working in connection with our Volunteer Centre and wider Active Communities teams, you will join a service that already supports hundreds of organisations to develop safe and high-quality volunteering opportunities, matches hundreds of residents to roles, and delivers a wide range of volunteering training and good-practice guidance. You will also work closely with local partners, including Salford Community Leisure, GM Moving, Manchester FA and VCSE partners to ensure a coordinated and impactful approach.

The role will involve building strong relationships with clubs and leagues, engaging women and girls through targeted outreach in multiple settings (for example, community events, education environments, VCSE spaces, etc.), supporting grassroots clubs to understand their volunteer needs and barriers, and developing sustainable volunteer plans that help address these. You will deliver both FA and Salford CVS-designed training, increasing access to high-quality learning and development across the grassroots football ecosystem.

You will also connect to our wider engagement in the physical activity agenda in Salford, particularly the Place Partnership, a programme helping to lower barriers to physical activity and get Salford residents moving more.

Hours: 18 hours per week (excluding breaks), to be worked over 3–4 days.

Contract: Until 30th June 2028, subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.
