The Role
The Administrative Officer will play a key role in helping to ensure the smooth running of HEP’s operations, events, and communications, and in delivering the high-quality service that underpins our success. This role reports jointly to the Operations Manager and the Head of Communications & Engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- First point of contact for schools, clients, suppliers, and visitors triaging issues and responding efficiently and helpfully to queries in person, via phone, and by email
- Monitoring of shared email inboxes across various teams, addressing enquiries in a timely manner
- Work closely with the Operations, Comms and CPD teams to support projects and workstreams
Event / Visitor Coordination
- Prepare and manage meeting rooms and training venues liaising with trainers and delegates
- Assist with the planning and delivery of in-person and online events, including training sessions and conferences
- Create event collateral in a professional and timely manner
CPD Support
- Support with organising, hosting and managing the technical side of virtual and in-person meetings, training and webinars
- Support with the development of CPD promotional material including brochures and flyers
- Support with uploading HEPs training programme and events onto website
Communications and Digital Support
- Website administration support, resolving member queries
- Help in creation and distribution of communication materials, such as flyers, newsletters, brochures,podcasts and content for social media/digital channels
- Work with the Communications Team to ensure consistency in tone, branding, and messaging
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Canva, Zoom, Monday, Adobe Suite
- Good numeracy and data-handling skills
- Ability to manage time, prioritise effectively, and work flexibly across multiple tasks

About you
This is a brand‑new role and an incredibly exciting time to join the team at PDSA. You’ll take the lead in developing a high‑impact prospect research function that underpins a strong pipeline of high‑value donors, trusts, and corporate partners.
In this role, you’ll deliver the insight, analysis, and intelligence that drive income generation, strengthen donor relationships, and shape fundraising strategy—ultimately helping us keep people and pets together when times are tough.
You’ll bring hands‑on experience in building prospect research pipelines, understanding donor behaviour, and using a wide range of tools to identify opportunities. You’re confident working with data, supporting major donor fundraising, and managing due diligence. You’ll also be comfortable navigating CRM systems and research platforms, and skilled at producing clear, actionable reports and briefings that help teams make informed decisions.
Please note that occasional travel will be required to our Head Office in Telford and to our Pet Hospital sites across the UK—typically a couple of times per month.

· Design and develop key income generation materials to enhance our external visibility including extending our profile via submissions for awards and recognition programmes

About the Role
We are currently seeking a Trust Fundraising Support Officer to join our growing fundraising team. 2025 was our best year yet for income and this role is pivotal in helping us to take the next step in further growing our income.
This new role will play a key part in delivering funding from Trusts, Foundations and other funders across the UK, supporting the Senior Trust Fundraising Officer to maximise our income. You will be responsible for making small-scale grant applications, and for growing our grants portfolio through identifying new funding opportunities.
There will be a range of projects to work on, providing vital support to ensure that we are increasing the number of warm funders who regularly support the charity.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Build up a strong pipeline of prospective funders by researching trusts that align with Epilepsy Action’s vision and strategy
- Secure income from small-scale charitable trusts, foundations, and other grant makers to meet individual and team targets
- Ensure timely thanking, updates and reporting for all grants and donations from our rolling programme of applications
- Use data in the CRM to analyse trends and identify opportunities
At Epilepsy Action we recognise the power of collaboration and teamwork, so our team members with hybrid contracts can expect to work a minimum of 40% at our office in Leeds. On average this is 2 days a week, normally on Mondays and Thursdays, for full-time employees. The expectation to collaborate face-to-face is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do which may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to help us create a world without limits for people with epilepsy.
About you?
We are looking for a dedicated fundraiser who has:
- Experience in using specialist fundraising research tools

Public fundraising and engagement will be central to that strategy, and as Head of Public Fundraising & Engagement, you will play a leading role in shaping it.
We already have strong foundations to build on. Recent testing of private site fundraising for both organisations has exceeded KPIs, showing strong public appetite to support our work. We also have the opportunity to learn from The Felix Project’s success in London and explore how proven approaches can be adapted and scaled nationally.

About the role
The Head of Public Fundraising & Engagement will lead our public fundraising portfolio. This newly created role will oversee Individual Giving and Legacies, Community Fundraising, Mass Participation and Challenge Events, and Fundraising Operations, with five direct reports.
You will be accountable for public fundraising income and performance, whilst also helping to bring together teams, systems and ways of working following the merger. You’ll sit on both the Fundraising Senior Management Team and the organisation’s Senior Management Team, contributing to organisation-wide strategy, decision-making and culture.
You will play a key role in shaping our three-year public fundraising strategy, ensuring it is ambitious, realistic and rooted in audience insight.
Whilst much of the portfolio is delivered through Senior Managers, there is particular scope and opportunity, to shape the future of Community and Mass Fundraising – where we’ve deliberately protected delivery while leaving space for the new Head to define long-term strategy, growth and resource.

The Head of Face-to-Face Fundraising provides strategic leadership and operational oversight of the RSPB’s face-to-face fundraising programme across the UK.
This role is responsible for delivering significant annual supporter acquisition volumes, ensuring an exceptional supporter experience, maintaining sector-leading compliance and safeguarding standards, and building high-performing in-house fundraising teams.

Key Duties:
- Develop and implement an ambitious multi-year Face-to-Face strategy that drives sustainable acquisition growth and contributes to long-term supporter value.

Purpose

Based in North Kensington, Dalgarno Trust is a vibrant community centre supporting local residents of all ages through health, wellbeing, education, training, and youth programmes. As the only community centre in this part of the borough, we play a vital role in bringing people together, tackling inequality, and strengthening community resilience.
As Head of Fundraising and Development, you will be a key member of our Core Team, working closely with the Chief Executive to secure and manage the resources that enable our work. This is a varied and hands-on role combining fundraising, CRM management, marketing and communications, and organisational administration, offering the opportunity to make a visible and lasting impact.
You will lead on researching and writing funding bids, managing relationships with funders, and ensuring that monitoring, evaluation, and reporting requirements are met. You will oversee and develop our CRM system (Salesforce), ensuring high-quality data, producing reports, and supporting colleagues through training. You will also play a central role in diversifying income through donations, sponsorships, commercial activity, and use of our assets.
Alongside fundraising, you will lead our marketing, communications, and promotion, keeping our website, social media, and noticeboards up to date, and ensuring our work is clearly and effectively communicated to the wider community. The role also includes administrative and HR support, such as assisting with recruitment processes, timesheets, training coordination, and ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations and best practice.
We are looking for someone highly organised, administratively confident, and comfortable working independently, while also enjoying collaboration with colleagues, partners, and community members. You will bring experience of community-based work, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a genuine commitment to equality, inclusion, and positive social change.

About the Role
We can’t do any of this work without brilliant and concerted fundraising efforts. SHF is independent and relies on funds from grant-making bodies, individuals, and businesses in our supporter community.
This role will be at the forefront of the realisation of SHF’s bold strategic ambitions. You will work alongside our small and dynamic executive team to unlock growth, develop new approaches and communicate our impact.
You will build a lead small, effective and positive fundraising and communications team.
You will develop deep and meaningful relationships with the individuals and organisations while support SHF’s work – and new supporters we have not met yet.
You will be hands on, getting stuck into grant applications, prospecting, communicating, and developing new engagement programmes.
We know small charity fundraising is no mean feat – you will get all the support and engagement you need from the SHF team and Board to do you very best work, in a hugely meaningful context.

Objectives
FUNDRAISING
- Leadership of successful portfolio of grant funding, including stewardship of existing funders, and growth to new ones through high quality applications and proactive identification of opportunities.
- Development and implementation of income generation and diversification strategies, most particularly through major donors programme and corporate partnerships.

COMMUNICATIONS
- Developing the charity’s existing communications efforts into a coordinated, coherent, and impactful strategy, across all communications channels and traditional and social media.

- Building a highly effective small team of 2-3 people – outcome-focused and empathetic line management of team members.

- Significant success and experience of impactful charitable fundraising from a diverse range of income streams, especially grants, major donors, and corporates. Or comparable experience of business development in another sector.
- Experience of communications campaigns, PR and marketing.
- Convincing and engaging written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build excellent collaborative working relationships across a wide range of people; colleagues, external partners and funders.
- Highly organised. Ability to prioritise workloads, project manage and deliver to deadlines, often with competing priorities.

We are looking for a Head of Income Generation & Engagement to lead the creation and delivery of a new, integrated strategy, with scope to innovate across individual and major giving, retail, digital engagement and emerging income streams.

Working with the Chief Executive and others, to develop a multi-disciplinary team covering income generation, marketing, communications and engagement to rasie c£2m income.
Review income generation, marketing and communications trends, approaches and evaluation frameworks. Conduct further research and evaluation as required and set against sector comparators.
Conduct analysis of the charitys audiences, both existing and potential, with a view to maximising opportunities for engagement, influence, giving and volunteering.
