About Us
Forever Young People CIC delivers relationship-led community programmes across Hertfordshire, currently anchored by our community youth projects and our Dot to Dot mum and baby group. We're part of the wider Forever Young People family, which has spent years building trust-based, relationship-first work with young people and families across the county.
We're at a turning point: our CIC has a real track record and real potential, but no one whose full-time job it is to lead it. That's where you come in.
The Role
We're looking for someone to take genuine ownership of the CIC — its strategy, its funding, and its future programmes — reporting directly to our CEO. You'll line-manage our Trusts & Foundations fundraising consultant, decide which funding opportunities to pursue, and build the relationships and programmes that take the CIC beyond what we've already started.
This isn't a role where you'll be handed a finished playbook. It's a role for someone who wants to build one.
You'll:
About You
You don't need to have done exactly this job before — but you do need to have done something like it. You're someone who can set a strategy and still get your hands dirty. You've probably managed a freelancer or consultant before. You've built relationships with funders or partners when resources were tight, not abundant. And most importantly, you actually want to build something — not just keep an existing programme ticking over.
Experience with trusts and foundations fundraising, youth or family support work, or a background moving from a founder-led organisation toward distributed leadership would all be a bonus, though none are essential.
The Details
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
Help grow sustainable income that changes lives across rural Africa.
At Ripple Effect, we're empowering farming families across rural Africa to build resilient livelihoods and create lasting change.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious, experienced fundraising leader to shape and grow Ripple Effect's supporter income programme, lead a team of specialist fundraisers and play a pivotal role in delivering sustainable unrestricted income growth.
Reporting to the Head of Marcomms & Supporter Engagement, you'll lead the development and delivery of our individual giving and supporter engagement programme, playing a pivotal role in growing our supporter base and maximising supporter lifetime value. You'll be responsible for developing and delivering acquisition, retention and stewardship strategies across multiple income streams, ensuring supporters feel connected to the impact of their giving and inspired to continue their journey with us.
Using audience insight, data and innovation, you'll identify new opportunities for growth, optimise supporter journeys and improve campaign performance to deliver sustainable income growth. You'll lead and develop a high-performing team, manage income and expenditure budgets, and work collaboratively across fundraising, communications and programme teams to deliver ambitious targets.
We're looking for a strategic, results-driven fundraiser with a proven track record in individual giving, supporter acquisition and retention, strong leadership skills, and experience using data to drive decision-making and maximise return on investment.
If you're passionate about growing income, building lasting supporter relationships and creating meaningful change, we'd love to hear from you. Help us build the supporter community that will transform thousands more lives across Africa.

This is a senior research programme management role supporting the delivery of a major externally funded health research programme involving multiple organisations, international collaborators and diverse stakeholder groups. The programme includes research involving human participants and brings together expertise from universities, charities, clinicians, researchers, technologists and people with lived experience.
A defining feature of this programme is its commitment to survivor leadership and co-design. Survivors of torture will play an active role in shaping, informing and governing the research throughout its lifecycle. The successful candidate will therefore work closely with survivor advisors, co-design groups and governance structures to support meaningful participation and ensure that lived experience perspectives are incorporated into programme decision-making, research development and delivery. This commitment to participation is central to the ethos, methodology and success of the programme.
Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Programme Manager will act as the central coordination point across the consortium and will be responsible for leading programme planning, coordinating international partners, supporting governance structures, managing funder reporting and compliance, coordinating financial oversight, supporting research governance and ethics, monitoring programme risks and preparing high-quality reports and briefings for funders, governance bodies and senior stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work closely with Freedom Fron Torture colleagues across clinical services, survivor leadership and empowerment, fundraising, finance, research partners and organisational leadership to ensure successful delivery of programme objectives. This role offers a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of health research, innovation, survivor involvement and international collaboration.

Rural Media is a Herefordshire-based charity and production company that empowers rural young people and underserved communities to find their voice, develop their creative talent and use digital creativity to drive social change. Through our proven creative participation model, developed and refined over three decades, we support early-career creative talent, young rural people and underserved groups to gain the skills, confidence, and platforms for personal growth and societal change.
Over the next three years, Rural Media Charity will focus on two interconnected strategic priorities:
Rural Media is looking for an ambitious Strategic Partnerships Manager to build a brand-new corporate partnerships function from the ground up. Working closely with our Development Director, Head of Youth Programmes and Head of Production, you'll identify, secure and grow partnerships with businesses who share our commitment to rural equality and youth opportunity — turning first conversations into lasting, mutually valuable relationships with a particular focus on supporting young people not in education, employment or training into real opportunities in the creative sector.
This is a varied role combining prospecting, pitching, negotiation, stewardship and ambassadorial work – whether that's crafting a partnership proposition, presenting to a board, or reporting back to a corporate supporter on the impact of their support.
We're looking for someone who is:
A proven relationship-builder with a track record of generating income, sponsorship or partnership value.
Confident engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including at director and board level.
Skilled at developing compelling proposals, pitches and cases for support.
Comfortable managing a varied pipeline from first contact through to signed agreement.
Excited about widening opportunity for young people and underrepresented communities through corporate partnership.
At Rural Media, you'll join a friendly, ambitious team committed to using creativity to change lives and widen access to careers in the screen industries. If you'd like to help build a new income stream that transforms young lives, we'd love to hear from you.
