About the role

The Social Media and Marketing Officer will deliver high-performing digital marketing campaigns that drive supporter acquisition and engagement. Working within the charity’s Policy and Communications team, you will focus on content creation to support a broad range of charity initiatives, ranging from fundraising campaigns to promoting events including our annual conference and signature fundraising event, the Duchenne Dash, and disseminating news to our stakeholders and community.

Reporting to the Director of Policy and Communications, you will lead the execution of digital campaigns, work to strengthen our presence on social media and grow our audience to amplify our communications and marketing activity, produce impactful marketing materials, work with community representatives and ambassadors to develop case studies and support with wider marketing and communications activity.

In the role you will:

• Support the implementation and delivery of multi-channel campaigns that build awareness of Duchenne UK’s work, promote our events, projects and outputs, and support fundraising goals.
• Take responsibility for the charity’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok), ensuring consistent, engaging, and mission-led content – planning, scheduling and publishing content.
• Help manage the digital marketing content calendar and coordinate content with colleagues across the organisation.
• Create a variety of digital content, including graphics, videos, reels, stories, blogs, and newsletters.
• Monitor and, where appropriate, respond to, and engage with followers and messages.
• Manage the charity’s regular e-newsletter using tools such as Dotdigital.
• Stay up to date with trends in digital communication and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Create detailed campaign plans, including channel selection, content requirements, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools and dashboards, providing actionable insights.
• Ensure staff and volunteers feel informed and inspired through engaging internal updates and on-brand messaging.
• Harness social media channels to raise the profile of the organisation and promote our work and policy positions and grow our audience on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.

Person Specification

Essential experience:

• Experience of writing for a range of audiences and using different channels to produce convincing, clear and succinct content across a range of platforms such as socials, blogs, web and print.
• A strong eye for detail and the ability to create content that resonates.
• Experience of using digital and social media for influencing and campaigning purposes.
• Experience supporting the development of and implementing social media strategies to increase engagement, reach and donations.
• Experience managing competing demands, meeting deadlines, and juggling multiple projects effectively.

LawCare is the mental health charity for the legal sector, providing free, confidential emotional support and information to people working in law across the UK, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man. While our primary focus is on direct support services, we also play a leading role in advocating for improved mental health practices within legal workplaces and driving cultural transformation through education, training, and research.

Established in 1997, we have spent almost 30 years supporting legal professionals by offering a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space to talk, whether individuals are experiencing day-to-day pressures or more complex, enduring challenges. In addition to our direct support services - including helpline, live online chat, and email support - we provide peer support and maintain a substantial, regularly updated online library of resources, including articles, personal stories, research, and multimedia content designed to promote mental health awareness and resilience across the sector. We also deliver training on mental wellbeing, management and supervision, vicarious trauma, and the new SRA workplace behaviour standards, and offer online sessions for legal workplaces and organisations to explain the support we provide.

The Role

LawCare is seeking an inspiring and values-led Chief Executive to lead the charity into its next phase of development at a pivotal moment for the legal profession. As the public face and strategic leader of the organisation, the Chief Executive will champion LawCare’s mission - ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality, confidential support services while strengthening its voice and influence across a rapidly evolving and increasingly commercial mental health landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Impact

• Lead delivery of LawCare’s forthcoming strategy (2026 onwards), translating vision into measurable impact.
• Ensure LawCare sharpens its positioning and messaging in a crowded mental health marketplace.
• Balance direct support services, research, education and influencing work to maximise impact.

External Relations & Sector Influence

• Act as the primary ambassador and spokesperson for LawCare across the legal sector in the UK, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.

Working closely with the Finance & Resources Director, this newly created role will be a key member of UP’s Finance team, supporting the charity to successfully deliver the charity’s strategic plan. We are specialists in partnering The NHS with the charitable arms of professional football clubs: known as Club Community Organisations (CCO).

We harness the power of professional football club’s community organisations to deliver mental health mentoring programmes which provide solutions to key community challenges.

About the role and its purpose

· You will be responsible for Advantage’s income and business development activity

· You will lead a broad range of income generating activities and manage relationships with stakeholders

Key tasks & responsibilities

Income generation

· Use your skills, creativity and experience to develop our income generation strategy

· Develop ideas for creative sponsorship and funding opportunities, putting together and submitting proposal and tender documents; identifying suitable partners; presenting proposals and closing deals

· Converting pilot and seed-funded contracts to longer-term sustainable contracts e.g. current Postcode Lottery agreement in the North-East converting to a long-term contract with North-East and North Cumbria ICB (more information to this can be given at interview stage)

· Support drawing up and negotiating contracts and ensuring delivery

· Work with stakeholders and our internal team to scope and develop exciting new opportunities

· Develop and steward fundraising and donor relationships in order to increase income

Partnerships and Networks

The Role

The Volunteer Recruitment Officer will lead structured volunteer growth and engagement across REMAP’s national branch network. The role exists to increase the number of active volunteers and strengthen branch capacity, ensuring the organisation can respond effectively to client referrals and deliver bespoke mobility and independence solutions.

Working proactively with Branch Chairs and the operations team, the postholder will focus on targeted recruitment, improved conversion of volunteer applications, and more consistent onboarding practices across the network. The emphasis is on building resilient local teams, supporting succession planning, and improving the distribution of volunteers to branches with identified capacity gaps.

Routine administrative onboarding processes sit within the wider team. This role is focused on delivering measurable growth in active volunteer capacity and engagement.

About You

We want you to bring relevant experience, passion, dedication, creativity, and flair to our work.

To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable experience in a similar position and be comfortable working with a diverse range of volunteers/people. As a self-starter, you can work at pace and quickly assess and deliver to changing priorities in a busy remote team. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to coordinate multiple tasks/activities and have the flexibility to respond to changing demands.

You will be proactive, enthusiastic, and excited about joining an organisation with ambitious plans to future-proof its services and reach more disabled people. Experience working in a remote environment is highly desirable.

Additional information about the role

Place of work: Fully remote, with occasional 1/2 nights away for year-round events.

Working Hours: 22 hrs, FTE 0.6 (pattern to be discussed)

Salary: 13,400 - £15,000 (actual salary), dependent on experience

Salary: £24,800 per annum (£31,000 FTE)

Base: This role is primarily remote, with regular travel required to support programme delivery. The successful candidate will typically travel one day per week to Manchester and one day per week to the North East of England to support the delivery of workshops, events and engagement activity. Overview

The Regional Project Co-Ordinator will support the planning, coordination and delivery of programmes and initiatives designed to support individuals who have spent part of their childhood in the care system.

Working closely with colleagues, delivery partners and stakeholders, the Project Co-Ordinator will help ensure programme activity runs smoothly and reaches those who may benefit most. The role combines organisational project coordination with hands on delivery, including supporting workshops, events and engagement activity with partners and care experienced people.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

The Salvation Army – Assistant Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising
Location: Hybrid working, 2 days in office, London SE5.
Salary: £53.952 – £57,055 per annum.
Contract: Permanent, full-time hours. 

The Salvation Army, the UK’s leading social welfare charity, is seeking an Assistant Head of Legacy and in Memory Fundraising to increase the number of In Memory donors and legacy supporters who will leave a future gift to the charity in their Wills.
The Salvation Army is one of the largest, most diverse providers of social and community services after the Government. With more than 600 local centres, they make a powerful difference to people across the UK who might otherwise be excluded.

The Assistant Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising is a senior role in the Legacy and In Memory Fundraising team, working alongside the Head of Legacy and In Memory Fundraising to drive activities after a significant and sustained investment in this area by the organisation.
The role will lead on the delivery of a multi-channel legacy marketing programme and championing legacy giving across the organisation. The post-holder will be responsible for establishing a year on year 10% increase in the number of legacy enquirers, considerers, intenders and pledgers to the charity, as well as establishing a new in memory fundraising programme that will increase annual income.
The successful candidate will have extensive expertise in all aspects of legacy and in memory fundraising and of project managing multiple campaigns across a range of channels, achieving and improving target revenues. You will have a track record in successful strategic planning, management and implementation of strategy and be a highly organised project manager able to work across simultaneous complex projects.

Your excellent leadership and people manager skills working and building high performing teams will be combined with strong financial management and analytical abilities. You will also be skilled in creative development and be an excellent communicator, able to influence at a senior level and to develop strong, successful, collaborative and influential working relationships. Finally, you must be able to work within, and be empathic with, the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army Mission.

The Job 

The Open SU delivers a dedicated student advice service called the Individual Representation Service. We are seeking a Student Advisor to provide one-to-one support for students navigating a range of university processes, including Central Disciplinary Hearings, Academic Misconduct investigations, Complaints, and Appeals. This is a 12-month role with the potential for extension, subject to demonstrating continued need. 

In this role, you will: 

• Provide high quality advice and information across a broad range of academic matters, including academic appeals, academic misconduct, complaints, disciplinary processes, extenuating circumstances, and fitness to practice issues. 

• Represent individual students at formal and informal University meetings 

• Accurately record student queries and maintain clear, up to date case records. 

• Manage a case load and deliver timely advice through a range of channels. 

• Build and maintain effective relationships with university departments, external stakeholders, and other relevant bodies. 

• Develop your expertise in university regulations, processes, and operations, applying this knowledge confidently and accurately to individual cases while working collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure students receive the support they need. 

• Identifying policy issues/trends and communicating these to the Student Advice Manager. 

The Person 

We’re looking for an organised, proactive individual who thrives in a busy environment and is confident delivering advice to people with a wide range of backgrounds and needs. You will need to have experience of managing multiple deadlines, prioritising your workload effectively, and adapting to changing demands. 

As part of a small but very active team, you’ll enjoy collaborating with colleagues and contributing to our shared goal of improving the experience of students. You will bring strong analytical skills, enabling you to review complex paperwork and situations, and to present information clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally. You will need to be confident delivering presentations to students and staff.
