We are recruiting a Queer Space Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of Greenwich’s Queer Space. Queer Space is for LGBTQIA+ individuals (18+) who live or have a GP in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and are looking to connect with others and get support for their mental health through engaging with peers.

As this service is peer-led, we are looking for a proactive and compassionate individual, with lived experience of LGBTQIA+ communities and mental health challenges, to coordinate the programme. This will include developing the service in line with service users' needs, facilitating the fortnightly sessions, and leading on project management and administration. Alongside this, we would like the Coordinator to recruit and supervise peer support volunteers to support with group facilitation.

You will have experience in group development, facilitation, and volunteer management, and an excellent understanding of service user engagement, particularly with the LGBTQIA+ community. You will be highly organised and proficient with case management tasks and project management administration.

Groups will be held at the Forum at Greenwich community centre and will take place twice a month, once in the evening and once in the afternoon. 

The role is for two 7.5 hour days per month, until 31 March 2027. 

Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager to play a key role in delivering our fundraising ambitions across England and Wales. This is a varied and hands-on role, combining strategic relationship-building with high-quality event delivery to generate income and deepen supporter engagement.

The Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager will take ownership of a portfolio of major fundraising events, from planning and budgeting through to delivery and follow-up. This includes developing the annual events strategy, managing income and expenditure, supporting ticket and table sales, sourcing prizes, and ensuring an exceptional supporter experience throughout.

Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, they will build and convert a pipeline of corporate partners, developing compelling proposals and securing new partnerships to meet income targets. They will also lead on the stewardship of these relationships, delivering tailored engagement plans that demonstrate impact and maximise retention.

Alongside delivery, the Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager will monitor performance, manage budgets, and maintain accurate reporting and CRM data, working collaboratively with Fundraising and Marketing colleagues to maximise results.

Key Responsibilities

Major SOHK Events

• Events Lead: Take full ownership of the SOHK organised major events in England, Scotland and Wales.
• Develop and deliver an annual events strategy & Calendar that is aligned with FRT targets
• Set and manage event budgets, income targets and KPIs
• Ensure exceptional supporter experience at all touch points.
• Source high value auction and raffle prizes
• Work closely with FRT to sell tables & tickets at events.
• Ensure prize donors, table buyers and supporters have a great experience of SOHK – feeling thanked and appreciated.
• Plan thoroughly for post event stewardship and follow up

Corporate Partnerships (working with Head of Fundraising)

• Build a pipeline of potential corporate partners and continually seek to add to pipeline as needed
• Research and make high quality approaches
• Confidently write winning pitches and present at meetings
• Secure new partnerships to achieve income targets
• Stewardship: Act as the main point of contact for partnerships that are allocated to you; nurturing and strengthening the relationships
• Develop and implement tailored cultivation and stewardship plans to enhance partner engagement and retention
• Demonstrate the impact of partner contributions to maximise retention (alongside our Marketing & Comms Team)

Reporting, Monitoring & Budgeting

• Report as required on all activity and progress to the Head of Fundraising
• Monitor and manage expenditure related to fundraising activities – managing P&L sheet
• Ensure data capture for CRM (Beacon) from all events

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Proven experience in event management, including planning, delivery, and evaluation of fundraising or engagement events
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and competing priorities
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, volunteers, and suppliers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organisation professionally

Lightbox Gallery & Museum is entering an ambitious new phase as we prepare for our 20th anniversary in 2027. Strategic Fundraising Leadership

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Site Manager - North East. This role will be responsible for Woodland Trust Sites in Durham and wider north-east England. This includes Low Burnhall a woodland creation site in the heart of Durham, Ragpath Wood a Plantation Ancient Woodland Site in the Deerness valley, several woodlands around Washington and other Woodland Trust sites across north-east England.

• Manage a diverse portfolio of high-profile woodland sites in line with the UK Woodland Assurance Standard, including ancient woodland, designated sites, veteran trees and high-biodiversity areas.

• Leadership or people-management experience.

The Programme Development Manager role is a critical role in ensuring the development and progression of our programmes.  Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Partnership and Proposal Development: Develop and deliver compelling partnerships to expand our existing donor-base

• Lead multi-annual and thematic reviews of progress against the Global Strategy to assess contribution to global change, identify achievements and challenges, lessons learned and recommendations.
• Support development and evolution of WaterAid’s Global Strategy, project managing key enablers of the strategy and drawing on expertise, experience and perspectives from across the organisation to drive progress.

To be successful, you will need:

Context and purpose of role

Volunteers are vital to the success of the Ramblers and the delivery of our strategic goals. That’s why we’ve launched a bold new initiative to enhance volunteer experience. We’re creating a journey that is inclusive, engaging, and genuinely impactful. As volunteering lead, the postholder will play a pivotal part in bringing that vision to life.

You will work closely with key stakeholders to enhance the volunteer experience at every stage of the volunteer lifecycle—from attraction and recruitment through to development and recognition.

You’ll design and deliver innovative approaches to enhance the experience of our current volunteers, along with planning and implementing new approaches to attracting volunteers for the future.

This role provides the opportunity to create something lasting: a volunteer experience where people don’t just give their time —they feel a genuine sense of belonging, while making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.

The role will report directly to the Head of People Experience.

Key responsibilities

Volunteer Recruitment and Onboarding

· Develop and implement strategies to attract and recruit a diverse pool of volunteers.

· Design and deliver comprehensive orientation programs to introduce new volunteers to the organisation and their responsibilities.

Training and Development

· Create and facilitate ongoing training programs to enhance volunteer skills and knowledge.

· Provide resources and support to ensure volunteers are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

· Organise workshops, seminars, and training sessions to foster continuous learning.

Volunteer Management and Coordination

· Ensure accurate records of volunteer hours, roles, and performance are maintained.

· Create a safe and supportive environment, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices around safeguarding.

· Develop and implement policies and procedures for volunteer management.

Volunteer Retention and Engagement

· Design and execute recognition programs to acknowledge and celebrate volunteer contributions.

· Organise events and activities to keep volunteers engaged and motivated.

· Regularly communicate with volunteers to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.

Program Evaluation and Improvement

· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the volunteer program.

Collaboration and Partnership Building

· Work closely with teams to identify volunteer needs and opportunities.

About this role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director of Income and Engagement, you will play a key role in securing and sustaining income to enable Carers First to grow its support and impact for carers. Your responsibilities would include: -

• Identifying, assessing and managing commissioned contract and funding opportunities aligned to Carers First’s strategic aims, maintaining a clear and intelligence‑led pipeline.

• Leading the development of compelling, high‑quality and cost‑effective bids and proposals for carers services and support (including re-securing existing contracts). Working with services, co-ordinating bid plans and bid teams to ensure a consistent, unified approach.

• Supporting the mobilisation of new contracts and services.

• Supporting delivery of the Income Generation Strategy, including leading on larger Trust, Foundation and grant applications where appropriate.

• Building effective relationships with commissioners, funders and partners to support business development and market engagement.

• Using quality, insight, outcomes data and carers’ feedback to strengthen bids, inform service improvement and support the development of innovative service models that improve outcomes for carers.

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring a strong mix of business development expertise, Local Authority commissioned contract success, sector knowledge and collaborative working, alongside a commitment to improving outcomes for carers, with;

• A strong track record of securing new Local Authority commissioned contracts and re securing existing contracts, with experience of commissioning and procurement processes in health, social care or the voluntary sector.

• Proven experience of leading bid development activity and bid teams, producing high quality, persuasive proposals within tight deadlines.

• Experience of senior stakeholder engagement and relationship management with commissioners, funders and partner organisations.

• A good understanding of health and care systems, including Local Authority and Integrated Care System priorities and pressures.

• Experience of service design and service improvement, working collaboratively with multi disciplinary teams and people with lived experience.

• Excellent organisational, programme and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyse insight and impact data and translate this into learning, improvement and compelling cases for support.

• A collaborative, inclusive and supportive approach, with a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, and strong alignment with the values and mission of Carers First.

HMC is seeking a confident and capable Community Manager to deliver our community-based 'Wednesday Service' for migrants and refugees. Our Wednesday Service is a multi-functioning hub, offering a warm, welcoming space for appointments and activities, and has long been the heart and soul of HMC's service. 

The Community Manager role is responsible for the coordination and delivery of HMC's Wednesday Service, including the management of all volunteers involved in the delivery of the service and oversight of our popular Holistic Advocacy service, delivered by volunteers.

This is a new post which recognises the importance of our Wednesday Service and the focus and resources required to deliver it effectively, whilst also recognising and seeking to empower the vital role our volunteers play in sustaining and enriching our services.

Every day, firefighters across the UK run towards the things most of us run from. The Fire Fighters Charity exists to support them and the people they love, when they need it most.

Now they're looking for someone to help grow the income that makes that possible.

This is a rare one.

Face to face fundraising at the Fire Fighters Charity isn't a tired legacy channel, it's a programme that's been rebuilt, is already performing strongly, and is seen as central to the charity's future. The in-house team works directly with fire and rescue services across the country. A public-facing agency programme runs alongside it. Both are growing. Both need stronger leadership.

That's where you come in.

As Face to Face Manager, you won't just be keeping the plates spinning. You'll be shaping strategy, building business cases, improving data and reporting, managing agencies and an in-house team, and helping take this programme to the next level. You'll have direct access to the firefighters themselves, whose stories are among the most compelling anywhere in the charity sector.

What you'll bring:

A solid grounding or at least a strong working knowledge in face to face or dialogue fundraising, whether from the charity side or an agency background. Strong data skills and confidence with KPIs and reporting. The strategic instinct to see the bigger picture, not just the next campaign. And the personality to thrive in a remote, relationship-driven role where no two weeks look the same.

Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is a plus. A solutions-focused mindset is a must.

Why it matters:

Over 10,000 people from the UK fire and rescue community were supported last year. The charity has 45,000+ regular givers. Individual giving income already exceeds £4m and F2F has significant room to grow. The person who takes this role will be a key part of making that happen.
