We're looking for an experienced, compassionate and confident Crisis Services Manager to lead our growing Crisis Services team.
This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership with frontline clinical expertise, helping shape the future of crisis support for members of the fire services community. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring people experiencing acute emotional distress receive safe, effective and compassionate support when they need it most.
About the role
As Crisis Services Manager, you will provide clinical and operational leadership across our crisis support services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care. You will lead a team of skilled clinicians, oversee service quality and governance, and help drive the continued development of our crisis provision.
Alongside leadership responsibilities, you will provide expert guidance on complex and high-risk cases, supporting clinicians to deliver safe and effective interventions while maintaining a small caseload of individuals with complex needs.
You will:
- Provide visible clinical leadership across a 24/7 crisis service
- Support decision-making for complex, high-risk and safeguarding cases
- Offer expert consultation, risk assessment and escalation support to clinicians
- Maintain a small caseload of complex or high-risk service users
- Lead, supervise and support a team of crisis clinicians
- Foster a culture of reflective practice, learning and continuous improvement
- Lead service development initiatives informed by data, outcomes and best practice
- Ensure robust quality assurance through audits, case reviews and governance processes
- Act as a safeguarding lead within psychological services
- Build and maintain effective relationships with NHS, Fire and Rescue Services and other partner organisations
- Contribute to organisational strategy, reporting and service development activity
About you
You will hold a Level 6/7 qualification in Counselling, Psychotherapy, Psychology or a related discipline, alongside registration with a relevant professional body such as HCPC, BACP, BABCP or UKCP.
You will bring significant experience working within crisis, mental health or psychological services, together with a proven ability to lead teams, manage risk and deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
We're particularly interested in people who can provide calm and decisive leadership, support others to perform at their best, and maintain a strong focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement in emotionally demanding environments.
You will have:
- Significant experience within crisis, mental health or psychological services
- Strong leadership and people management experience
- Advanced skills in risk assessment, safeguarding and crisis intervention
- Experience delivering psychological therapies and supporting or supervising clinicians
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A commitment to evidence-based practice, service quality and clinical excellence
Experience working with trauma-exposed populations, uniformed services personnel, or within the charity sector would be an advantage.
Working arrangements
This is a fully remote, UK-based role with occasional national travel.
The role includes participation in the senior clinical on-call rota, with a requirement to provide a minimum of eight weeks of cover each year. Occasional shift working may also be required to support frontline service delivery.

About Working Well Trust
Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are expanding our team of IPS Employment Advisors in our IPS service in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. You will be based in one of NHS mental health treatment teams in Bethnal Green, Isle of Dogs or Stepney and Wapping areas, working 35 hours per week. This IPS services at Working Well Trust has been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. What you’ll be doing
You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.
You will work as part of a mental health team (NHS Trust) maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led.
You will spend up to 65% of your week working in the community of Tower Hamlets to provide localised support to residents of the Borough.
You will also be working to contract targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

About You and the Role
The Community Wellbeing Navigator will play a key role in delivering a person-centred service, supporting individuals to improve their mental health and wellbeing and progress in their recovery journey.
The post holder will provide focused 1:1 support, enabling individuals to access appropriate services within Mind BLMK and the wider community. This includes offering information, guidance and practical support to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing, and ensure timely access to the right support.

- Delivering structured group wellbeing sessions on psycho-educational topics

- Assessing individuals’ suitability for the service and signposting where necessary
- Engaging with community partners to strengthen pathways and raise awareness of the service

Reporting to the Head of Change, the Programme Manager will manage the Foundation’s strategic change portfolio of work. You will establish a trusted, secure, well‑governed programme of change. The role will be responsible for delivering the project assurance board, ensuring that all programmes of work deliver the organisational-wide change the charity requires.
This role is cross-organisational, with involvement with the Chief People Officer on the operating model, the Chief Finance Officer, and the Director of Transformation on planning and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Data Leadership:

Portfolio & Delivery Oversight:
- Oversee multiple interdependent projects, managing the end‑to‑end delivery, from design through to implementation and evaluation.

- Drive delivery to time, cost, scope, and quality targets.

- Develop a programme-level risk management framework.

Change & Transformation Leadership:
- Lead on large-scale organisational change initiatives.

- Identify opportunities to improve ways of working, programme design and delivery

This is an exciting training role in Army Cadet Headquarters responsible for the governance of risk in the Army Cadets.
In this critical organisational safety role, you will both generate medical risk assessments and assure those generated by others. You will ensure appropriate medical governance and compliance processes are in place, including identifying organisational clinical risks and recommending appropriate policies. You will oversee incident reporting and trend analysis to support continuous improvement. Person Specification
Experience (Essential)
• Minimum five years’ experience in senior leadership or service management.
• Experience within mental health, Arts in Health, creative education or community services.
• Experience of delivering commissioned services and contract management.
• Experience of partnership working across health, education or voluntary sectors.
• Experience of leading teams.
• Experience of monitoring outcomes and demonstrating impact.
