Cross-Income Stream Support

• Support the delivery of activity and appeals across major donor, corporate, legacy, and individual giving programmes.
• Identify and research prospective funders, including trusts and corporate partners. Assist in bid development, including desk research, gathering case studies, and impact data.
• Support the development and delivery of materials, campaigns, and digital content.

Events & Community

• Support the delivery and evaluation of in-house and third-party events.

Supporter Care & Communications

Team Coordination & Administration

• Manage the inbox and respond to supporter enquiries.
• Provide administrative support to the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager and Head of Marketing, Communications, and Fundraising.
• Help ensure all activity is compliant with relevant legislation and best practice. 

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, proactive and driven Fundraising Manager to join our team at Brain Tumour Support. You will be joining the team at an exciting time as we seek to grow our supporter base both locally and nationally.

You will assume responsibility for the delivery of the fundraising strategy to achieve ambitious unrestricted income targets through Corporate Partnerships, Community Fundraising and Individual Giving. Motivating and line managing a small, but growing fundraising team, you will ensure activity levels are on track to achieve both income and awareness targets for the charity.

Ideal candidates must come from a charity fundraising background, with the drive to inspire a team, grow income, build relationships and initiate opportunities for development of the fundraising function. This role will suit a dynamic and positive individual, with a proven track record and extensive experience of meeting demanding income targets within various income streams, one of which should be Corporate, community or individual fundraising. Experience of developing and leading a team to success is desirable for this role.

The Role

As Senior Grants Executive, you’ll play a vital role in the post-award administration of our grants programme, ensuring that funding is effectively managed and impactful. You’ll work closely with The Royal Marsden hospital staff, fundraisers, and communications teams to support a wide range of projects—from psychological support services to early-phase drug development.

You’ll also:

· Administer grant-funded projects such as Pre-doctoral Fellowships and Quality Improvement initiatives.

About Dravet Syndrome UK

Dravet Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a small independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that affects around one in every 15,000 people in the UK. As well as experiencing severe, difficult-to-control seizures, children and adults with Dravet Syndrome have varying degrees of intellectual disability and a spectrum of associated conditions (known as ‘comorbidities’), which may include autism, ADHD, behaviours that challenge and difficulties with speech, mobility, eating and sleep.

The charity was founded in October 2008 by a small group of 30 families. Today, DSUK is a registered charity helping over 550 families with support, education, and research programmes, underpinned by a world-class Medical Advisory Board.

What you will bring

Essential

· Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering engaging and targeted social media content to build community, raise awareness and drive engagement.

· Hands-on experience managing websites (using WordPress), delivering e-marketing campaigns (e.g. Mailchimp or similar), and applying SEO principles and other techniques to optimise digital communications and online visibility.

· Demonstrable experience in media relations, including writing press releases, working with case studies and successfully pitching and responding to a range of media (online, press, radio, broadcast)

· Demonstrable experience of working in charity, patient advocacy or healthcare sectors

· Ability to deal with people at all levels with empathy, tact and credibility

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to distil large amounts of information and present it in engaging and innovative ways for a variety of audiences

· Demonstrable design skills and knowledge of desktop publishing software e.g. using Canva to create in-house designs for social media and our website

· Act as a brand guardian, ensuring external designers and agencies understand and apply our brand, visual identity, and corporate communications guidelines effectively

· Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise

· Be a self-starter and team player with experience of remote working, and able to work effectively with colleagues using remote technology (e.g. Zoom, Google meets, etc)

Objective:

2wish exists to provide support to anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under.

Aims:

• Ensure every Emergency Department has a suitable bereavement suite
• Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
• Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide a professional counselling service and other therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
• Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
• To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families

2wish Cymru and 2wish:

2wish has been established since 2012 and has grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death.

We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under in Wales. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of the families, so they don't have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.

We were founded as a Welsh organisation. However, in January 2024 we expanded in to Phase 1 of England (Chesire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Somserset) and in July 2025, we expanded in to Phase 2 (Merseyside, Devon and Cornwall, Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Context of role:

2wish support anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We provide immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong track record in fundraising. This is both a hands-on role and is pivotal to the ongoing success of our fundraising targets. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and being responsible for a small team of fundraisers, you will lead and motivate the team to reach their full potential.

Main duties:

Management & Service:

• To line manage the regional fundraising team
• To execute the organisation’s business plan
• To assist in the planning of any expansion into England, managing any staff recruited during the early days of growth
• To establish fundraising communities by recruiting volunteers, engage with corporate partners and develop and maintain relationships with volunteers.
• To monitor branding and to ensure a consistent approach regarding literature, publications, promotions, partnerships, and social media
• To perform daily leadership and management duties for the Fundraising Team
• To conduct weekly team meetings and assign achievable goals with the support of the Head of Fundraising
• To liaise with the Senior Management team
• To liaise with Trustees, key stake holders, major donors, etc
• To monitor the wellbeing of the Fundraising Team and ensure effective working
• To facilitate monthly team one to ones and annual appraisals
• To monitor predicted income against budget and ensure targets are met
• To attend appropriate training and operate within best practice for fundraising processes, including legal obligations
• To ensure the delivery of key information for statistic and analytical purposes
• To implement key strategies for the growth and future of the charity updating these on an annual basis
• To represent the charity at events and be comfortable with public speaking as necessary

General:

• To be responsible for organising own work agenda, time management and administration
• To show respect and sensitivity for the cultural and religious beliefs of families
• To undertake learning opportunities and seek them out for the team
• To adhere to all company policies and procedures including Safeguarding, Confidentiality, Health and Safety and Lone Working; and to be proactive in implementing new safe working practices as appropriate
• To attend weekend and evening community events in support of the charity as necessary
• Participate as and when required in team meetings and one-to-one meetings, and undertake, as appropriate, courses/training/other developmental activities, which is relevant to the role

It is the nature of the work that tasks and responsibilities are in many circumstances unpredictable and varied. All employees are therefore expected to work in a flexible way and tasks, which are not specifically covered in their job description may have to be undertaken.

You will be subject to performance review, which will incorporate a review of the above duties and performance over the period.

This role is subject to a DBS check.

Salary: Starting salary of £32,000 per annum

Contract type: 12-month, full-time - 37.5 hours per week

Hours: Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.

Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.

Pension: 2wish operate a contributory pension scheme. 2wish will auto-enrol you into the scheme in accordance with it's auto-enrolment obligations. Full details of the scheme will be provided to you once you are enrolled, including the minimum level of contributions that you will be required to make during your membership (current contributions - employer 3% and employee 5%).

Mileage: A fixed rate allowance is payable for agreed mileage undertaken on 2wish business in a private vehicle, over and above your usual journey to your workplace/s.

Location: 2wish is currently working with staff to offer a form of hybrid working and this will continue for the foreseeable future. This post will include a lot of home working, with the expectation to the successful candidate to travel to 2wish Head Office minimally once a month. There will also be significant travel across the county you reside in and bordering counties

Join Our Fundraising Team ! 

At Scripture Union, we’re looking for two experienced and driven fundraisers to join our team. The fundraising team work to a target of around £2m per year, generated from a range of channels and segments. We’re looking for two more people to grow this team as we expand our mission to reveal Jesus to the younger generations in England and Wales. 

About the roles    

We’re looking for two fundraisers to tackle the following areas: 

• Individual Giving, working to maintain and grow our portfolio of donors giving between £10pa -  £1,500 pa each.

• Fundraising Innovation, coming up with fresh new ideas that will generate more income for the mission that take us beyond our tried and tested fundraising activities. 

Between them, the two roles account for 1.8 FTE, and we’re flexible about how that’s allocated. It could be that both roles work 4.5 days a week each, or one full time and the other four days. We’re open to suggestions as we seek the right candidates for the team.

The salary for both roles will be £31,500 - £34,800  per annum for an FTE.

• Individual Giving: Grow income from individual donors through the management of campaigns, regular giving and invitations to increase gifts from general individual donors and mid-level donors. Work to acquire and retain new donors and reactivate lapsed donors. 

• Fundraising Innovation: Develop, trial and implement new and innovative approaches to income generation, contributing to our annual target through new strategic ideas. Work with the fundraising team to ensure these activities align with our fundraising strategy and relationships with grant making trusts, major donors and legacy income.

• Leading on the renewal of existing five- and six- figure partnerships, developing clear stewardship plans that strengthen relationships and maximise opportunities for growth.
• Working collaboratively with internal teams across the organisation.
• Excelling at use of our CRM (Beacon) and ensuring it’s kept up-to-date.

The Role

Working as part of a small but ambitious team, you will support fundraising and donor research for Right to Succeed, a fast-growing national charity delivering place-based and educational change in disadvantaged communities.

This role will see you:

• Undertake in-depth prospect donor research, using tools such as Funds Online, GrantNav 360 Giving, and CRM systems.
• Produce research briefings and present findings to support fundraising strategy.

The role of the Direct Marketing Executive is a varied one. Working with different teams and suppliers, you will be supporting and delivering direct marketing campaigns across a range of media channels. The acquisition programme is an evolving one and there is change and growth happening in a lot of interesting areas at a fast pace.

As well as running day-to-day activities, the post holder will be responsible for supporting the wider acquisition team by ensuring data and supporter engagement processes are running smoothly across campaigns. Alongside this, they will ensure compliance and adherence to the most recent regulations and codes of practice is top of the agenda.

Fundraising experience is not essential for the role, but we are looking for someone with the desire and self-motivation to learn and develop, and the drive and passion to change the future for those affected by dementia. The successful candidate will be able to show this, be collaborative and enthusiastic, want to learn and develop, and be keen to get involved with the activities of the team right away.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Fundraising and Marketing Campaigns

· Support with planning and delivery of a wide range of supporter engagement and fundraising activities including digital marketing and face-to-face fundraising.

· Support with the creation of content and copywriting for digital adverts.

· Social media monitoring of direct marketing activity, responding in line with brand messaging.

· Work with others in the team to conduct mystery shopping, shadowing and call listening to measure fundraising quality and ensure compliance.

· Liaise with designers, printers, mailing houses, agencies, and fulfilment houses.

· Support the day-to-day management of fundraising agencies and suppliers, ensuring relationships are effective and productive.

· Assist in the production and delivery of motivating fundraiser training that ensures quality, compliant fundraising.

· Support in recommendations for change and refinement across the direct marketing programme.

Finance & Reporting

· Daily campaign tracking and reporting.

· Administer the recording, reconciliation, and processing of invoices.

Team and Programme Support

· Tracking and evaluating competitor and industry trends, collaborating with the other Direct Marketing Executive to provide recommendations to the wider team for potential improvements and testing opportunities.

· Keep up to date on the latest developments within the sector relating to best practice in fundraising.

· Proof-read direct marketing materials and collateral.

· Regularly attend, support, and contribute to meetings and events.

· Ensure compliance and adherence to the most recent regulations and codes of practice.

What we are looking for:

· Experience of using Microsoft packages; particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

· Proof reading.

· Administrative experience.

· Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.

· Willingness to collaborate and work closely with other departments and external suppliers.
