About the role

To provide administrative support to the North West Clinical Service through assisting the assessment and treatment process from the referral point up to the completion of treatment. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective administrative systems as required to support the successful running of the service and responsible for processing and responding to referrals to the service and liaising with external agencies and survivors referred to the service.

The role provides a unique opportunity to contribute towards the successful delivery of rehabilitation services to survivors of torture. The role involves client contact through answering the phone and also welcoming clients into the centre at reception.

You will have experience in maintaining high quality administrative systems to ensure the smooth running of services. You will be committed to the rights of asylum seekers, refugees and survivors of torture, and be passionate about working for an organisation that has human rights at the forefront. You will have excellent communication skills with a wide range of people, including service users and professionals from external agencies.

About you

If you have experience of using case managements systems this is an advantage, but not essential. The role will need you to visit clients in their homes so you will need a valid driving licence and be willing to use your vehicle for work purposes - for which an essential car user allowance will be paid.

Do you have a passion for working with children and young people?
Do you want to gain hands-on experience in youth and children’s ministry while receiving high-quality training?

As an apprentice, you will work within a parish to develop and strengthen its children and youth ministry while studying with Ridley London. This three-year apprenticeship leads to a Certificate in Higher Education (Level 4) in Foundations in Theology, Ministry and Mission, with a focus on youth and children’s work.

You’ll be employed for 21 hours per week, spending 16 hours in the parish and 5 hours studying.

As we celebrate our 16th Birthday year, We Are Survivors are currently looking for an individual that has the passion, drive and determination to help us deliver our OUT Spoken Talking Therapy Services (prison based).

We Are Survivors provide survivor-focused therapeutic and advocacy support to male (including Trans and Non-binary) victims/survivors, and their loved ones, of sexual harms. We have developed a three-tiered approach to services and underpin everything we do with a ‘trauma and recovery’ framework pioneered by Dr Judith Herman.

We are currently commissioned to deliver trauma-informed therapy services in 15 prisons across the Northwest of England and we need your help delivering these services in:

· HMP Haverigg (Part-time – 2 days per week)

Believe you are right for this role?

You will be a qualified counsellor / psychotherapist who holds at least a Diploma in Counselling / Psychotherapy or equivalent and be registered with BACP or equivalent (preferably an accredited member). Founded by bestselling science writer Simon Simon MBE, Parallel is a small but ambitious charitable initiative. We support bright and keen students to develop their mathematical curiosity and problem solving skills beyond the curriculum. This includes puzzle sheets, large interactive webinars, and a tutoring programme (Parallel Academy) which provides small-group tutorials to over 600 state school secondary school students. Our tutorial programme is completely free for the first year, and heavily subsidised thereafter, but cost will never be a barrier to participation.

This role:

So far, the Parallel platform has been developed and maintained by a single volunteer developer. As we look to expand the project to reach many thousands more students each year, we are now looking for additional support to help maintain the platform, attend to daily issues and support with new feature development.

The Parallel platform is built with the following technologies:

• Frontend: React, Typescript

• Backend: Node.js, GraphQL (AWS Appsync)

• Infrastructure: AWS (Lambda, AppSync, Dynamodb), Firebase

The primary purpose of this role is to provide debt advice and money education on a case management basis and to support the provision of advice by volunteers. The post holder will be expected to manage their own cases and lead appointment sessions.

Ideally we are looking for someone with prior debt or social welfare experience, and who has experience of working with and supporting volunteers. However we will also consider employing someone as a trainee adviser if you are able to demonstrate that you possess the skills, maturity and determination to become proficient in this role. 

The role will be based in one of our branches in west London, but hybrid and remote options will be considered for the right candidate.

Recreation and Wellbeing Coordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Recreation and Wellbeing Coordinator to inspire, engage and support young people within a leading youth charity that helps shape the lives of young people.

Position: Recreation ‘Rec’ and Wellbeing Coordinator

Salary: £29,500 – £31,500 per annum (pro rata)

About the Role
As Recreation and Wellbeing Coordinator, you will manage the Youth Zone’s vibrant Rec Area and two wellbeing spaces: the Training Kitchen and Health and Wellbeing Room. You will create an energetic, fun, and inclusive environment where young people can thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the day-to-day management of the Rec (indoor and outdoor) and Wellbeing Spaces (Training Kitchen and Health Room), ensuring they are safe, welcoming, and well-utilised.
• Design and deliver a varied programme of inclusive activities that promote social development, healthy lifestyles, and confidence-building, with particular focus on engaging SEND and underrepresented young people.
• Line-manage and support staff and volunteers across all spaces, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and high-quality youth engagement.
• Manage and develop the Young Leaders programme, nurturing leadership skills across Junior and Senior groups.
• Ensure sessions are structured, relevant, and youth-led where possible, using feedback and local need to shape delivery.
• Oversee the safe use of equipment, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety and health standards.
• Collaborate with local partners to enhance opportunities for physical and mental wellbeing.
• Manage budgets for all areas, ensuring value for money and accurate financial record-keeping.

About you:

We are looking for a passionate individual who is committed to empowering young people. You will have:

• Experience delivering face-to-face activities with young people aged 8+ in group and one-to-one settings.
• Strong skills in delivering wellbeing, cooking, and personal development programmes.
• Proven ability to manage teams and volunteers effectively.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A good understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity.
• A flexible, positive, and enthusiastic approach with a readiness to work evenings and weekends.
