Job Description

Accountabilities 

• Implement procurement best practice to deliver high-quality, compliant and value-focused procurement services for the FRC.
• Manage a range of end-to-end procurement exercises, including the use of Framework Agreements and/or Find a Tender where applicable.
• Manage a portfolio of procurement and contract-related activity, including change control and Notices of Termination.
• Identify and deliver cost savings, process efficiencies and procurement improvements, including contributing to technology solutions that enhance team processes and reporting.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, provide procurement advice and support effective delivery of procurement activity.
• Engage with external suppliers to obtain information, quotations, proposals and other procurement-related inputs.
• Maintain and report on data within the FRC’s Contracts Database, ensuring information supports effective management information reporting.
• Design, coordinate and manage tender processes, including preparing tender documents, capturing expressions of interest, managing Q&A, developing evaluation criteria and methodology, and communicating outcomes.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Strong experience of end-to-end procurement activity, including reviewing applicable terms and conditions and supporting compliant commercial decision-making.

• Good understanding of the professional, legal and regulatory environment in which the procurement function operates, including PCR15 and PA23.
• Qualified or part-qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS), or working towards an equivalent professional procurement qualification, is desirable.

As a Specialist Drug & Alcohol Support Worker, you'll be part of our Renew Domestic Abuse Service, supporting individuals who have experienced domestic abuse and are living in short-term emergency refuge accommodation.

This specialist role focuses on working with clients who are experiencing challenges relating to drug and alcohol use alongside domestic abuse. You'll provide person-centred support, helping individuals identify their goals, access specialist services, improve their wellbeing, and move towards greater independence and safety.

About the role

We're looking for experienced facilitators to join our growing network of Associate Programme Leads, delivering CoachBright programmes in schools and universities across England.

Depending on demand, your availability and the geographical areas you're able to cover, you may be offered one or multiple programme assignments throughout the academic year.

This is a freelance contract for services, offering the flexibility to organise your own schedule and decide which programme assignments you accept. Each programme has a clearly defined scope, fixed programme fee and agreed delivery timeline.

As an Associate Programme Lead, you'll take responsibility for delivering allocated programmes, building positive relationships with schools, universities and volunteers, and ensuring every programme is delivered to CoachBright's high standards.

Our programmes

As an Associate Programme Lead, you may be commissioned to deliver one or more of CoachBright's programmes, depending on your experience, availability and the needs of our partner schools and universities.

Although each programme is different, all are designed to improve the confidence, independence and future opportunities of young people from underrepresented backgrounds through high quality coaching.

Programmes include:

UniCoach Programme

Our UniCoach Programme trains university students to become academic coaches, supporting small groups of pupils to build their confidence, independence, resilience and academic progress.

As an Associate Programme Lead, you'll recruit, train and support university volunteers, build strong relationships with school and university partners, coordinate programme delivery and evaluate its impact.

A typical UniCoach programme features 20-30 pupils, and 5-10 undergraduates, and involves:

• 8-10 week delivery period

• Recruitment, training, and coordination of undergraduate volunteers

• Seven sessions at the school featuring all pupils and coaches, normally for one hour at the same time each week

• A graduation celebration event at a local university of the school

• An evaluation impact report

• Programme fee approx £2,850

Peer to Peer Programme

Our Peer to Peer Programme trains older pupils to become academic coaches for younger pupils, helping both groups to develop academically while building confidence, leadership and resilience. 

As an Associate Programme Lead, you’ll.train pupil coaches, support the school throughout programme delivery, maintain the day-to-day relationship, oversee programme quality and evaluate its impact.

A typical Peer to Peer programme features 15 older pupils coaching one younger peer each (total cohort size of 30) and involves:

• 8-10 week delivery period

• Training session for older pupils (coaches)

• Seven sessions at the school featuring all 15 pairs, normally for one hour at the same time each week

• A graduation celebration event at a local university of the school

• An evaluation impact report

• Programme fee approx  £700 - £1,900 (depending on number of sessions selected by partner)

LifeCycle Programme

Our LifeCycle programme provides one-to-one professional coaching for university students from underrepresented backgrounds, helping them navigate university life, develop key skills and achieve their personal and academic goals.

A typical LifeCycle programme features a cohort of 20-30 undergraduate students, who receive six 60-minute online coaching sessions, alongside three in-person workshops.

Depending on your qualifications and experience, you may either:

• Deliver one-to-one coaching yourself (for associates with recognised professional coaching qualifications); and/or

• Coordinate a team of professional coaches, managing programme delivery, partner relationships and evaluation.

Typical programme fee:

• Programme coordination and management only: approx £2,750

• Programme coordination & professional coaching: fee dependent on coaching experience and cohort size

Programme fees vary depending on the programme type and will always be agreed in advance before work begins.

What we’re looking for

Essential:

• A genuine passion for improving life chances for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and a commitment to CoachBright's mission and values.

Key details

Contract Type:
Associate Programme Lead (Freelance Contract for Services). You will be engaged as an independent contractor, not an employee of CoachBright.

Programme Availability:

Programme assignments are offered throughout the academic year as partner schools and universities confirm delivery. The number of programmes offered will vary depending on demand, your availability, and the geographical areas you are able to cover. While we cannot guarantee a minimum number of programme assignments, we are looking to build long term relationships with associates who consistently deliver excellent programmes. 

Support:
Every Associate Programme Lead is supported by a named CoachBright colleague who provides programme oversight, quality assurance and operational support.

Training:
Successful applicants will complete a paid induction before delivering their first programme and receive programme-specific training where required.

Safeguarding

Travel

The role is home-based with regular travel to partner schools and universities. Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with CoachBright's Expenses Policy.

Programme Coordinator

The Race Equality Foundation has been awarded a transformative multi-year grant from The National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF) as part of its Health Inequities: Structural Racism and Discrimination Partnership. The programme will establish three Anti-Racism Collaboratives (ARCs), each bringing together voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations, people with lived experience, health and care organisations, local authorities and other partners to tackle the structural causes of ethnic health inequities through co-production, evidence and collective action.

As Programme Coordinator, you will play a central role in enabling the successful delivery of this ambitious programme. Working closely with the Lead Changemaker, Changemakers and colleagues across the Foundation, you will ensure the programme has the systems, coordination and administrative support needed to deliver high-quality partnership working and meaningful co-production across the three ARCs. ​

About the Role:

As a Casework Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse to rebuild their lives. Working holistically, you’ll carry out in‑depth needs assessments and develop tailored support plans that reflect each individual’s circumstances, strengths, and goals.

You’ll provide compassionate, trauma‑informed case management, advocacy, and resettlement support for people with a wide range of complex social and housing needs. Collaborative multi-agency working to advocate for survivors ensuring their needs are met.

Maintain accurate client records using our system, INFORM.

In April 2021 we launched the GM Navigators project to support young people impacted by youth violence.  In response to feedback from parents and carers, the PACS project was set up in 2023 to assist Parents and Carers identifying their child as ‘at risk’. Since this the service has gone from strength to strength with Parents and Carers engaging from all 10 GM boroughs.  We have securing funding to continue this project until 2027 with potential for further extensions.

Oasis is recruiting a PAC Support Worker to be part of the PAC Project.   

As a PAC Support Worker you will;

· Support parent and carers that identify their child is “at risk” offering them advice and guidance, practical support and linking them in with services/groups that will provide them with a sustainable support network.

· Help parents and carers to develop projects to raise awareness of the issues they are facing, offering peer support and influence policy and system change. 

· Be trained in Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) and other parenting approaches to support parents and carers to respond to their children’s needs, de-escalate situations and maintain good relationships within their home.

· Delivering our ‘Encounter’ Parenting Training (based on the principles of NVR) online and in-person to groups of parents and host online and in-person support groups for parents and carers.

· Be integral to the shaping and development of the PAC project utilizing the feedback of those you are working with to ensure the project is impactful and meeting parent’s and carers needs as a priority.

• Empower Parents and Carers that want to set up groups or run campaigns to raise awareness of issues they are facing.  Managing resources to support them to turn their ambitions into reality.

Overall purpose

The middle school science teacher is responsible for delivering a science curriculum to middle school students in an engaging, stimulating and effective manner, using varied instructional strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to promote inquiry-based learning, in which students work both collaboratively and independently to create new knowledge, share materials, problem-solve and discuss mathematical concepts through hands-on learning activities such as labs, fieldwork and whole class discussions.

Summary of duties

• Teach four sections of science and serve as a Grade 7 advisor, (each section of science meets for 80 min, four times per every eight days and advisory meets every day for 30 min)

About the Role

As an Independent Victim Advocate you will be ensuring the provision of individual structured, tailored support plans, based on a holistic assessment of impact and risk, within the framework of VS's Service Model. You may make initial contact with victims of crime, explaining our services and assessing the impact of crime, or receive referrals from colleagues, in order to provide on-going support and case management.

You will develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime, who accept ongoing support. Support will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users. In order to:

• support those affected by crime in understanding and asserting their rights and entitlements
• understand their journey through the criminal justice and legal systems including the Victims Code of Practice
• facilitate access to additional services
• establish healthy coping mechanisms
• provide practical support and information

You will directly support service users, who may be affected by all types of crime. You may work within a specialist area, for example concentrating on one crime type, or a certain demographic of victims.

You may, in some services, be responsible for elements of volunteer management. This may include the development and case management oversight of a cohort of volunteers who will contribute to the service, in line with VS's policies and volunteering ethos and approach.
