This Role’s Impact:

As CRM and Systems Specialist (Graduate Programme), you’ll play an important role in supporting the development and ongoing improvement of TLG’s digital systems, particularly across the Power Platform. School Governance and Admissions Officer

About the Role

The Role

In this role, you will support the Director of Finance in providing a proactive, efficient, and highly effective finance service across the Diocesan board of finance and trust custodian company, as well as supporting the larger finance team who look after the Board of Education.

The role will include taking ownership of the budget and forecast for Board, running the month-end and reporting process and interacting with Heads of Department and key Diocese clergy in helping to run their day-to-day operations.  The role will also take the lead in managing the tax and statutory reporting, and appropriate training assistance will be made available as required.

You will play a key role within a Finance department totalling 9 staff.  The team have been through a time of change, including the introduction of a system 3 years ago that still requires some input to ensure it is being maximised in usefulness.

The candidate should be a starter finisher as this is a new area of development for both VCUKI and Vineyard Global, and over time, it is anticipated that the post-holder will build a team to assist with key aspects of the role. Reporting into the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective financial management, control, and statutory reporting of the organisation and its associated entities. This is a broad and hands-on role offering exposure to financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, systems oversight, and stakeholder engagement within a values-driven environment. Key responsibilities are as follows:

• Lead the preparation of annual statutory accounts, including year-end close procedures, consolidations, and audit adjustments.

About us

The Sir Martin Gilbert Learning Centre is an educational charity whose mission is to educate young people about who Jews are and the contributions they have made to society. Our free workshops are integrated with the National Curriculum and rooted in academic research. Since launching in January 2024, we've reached over 5,800 students and built partnerships with schools across England, Scotland and Wales.

We're now entering an ambitious phase of growth, developing deeper relationships with select Focus Schools and building towards a national reach of 25,000 students per year.

The role

This is far more than a management job. As our first School Partnerships Manager, you'll lead our outreach to schools and play a central role in shaping how the Centre develops and grows. Working closely with the Director, you'll drive the number of schools accessing our programmes, deepen relationships with existing partners, and help design our Focus School programme from the ground up.

You'll spend your time:

• Building and stewarding relationships with teachers, heads of department, and senior school leaders
• Proactively identifying and contacting prospective partner schools through outreach, networking and events
• Managing the full partnership lifecycle, from first contact through booking, delivery and follow-up
• Shaping our Focus School programme and contributing ideas for curriculum development
• Representing the Centre at conferences and educational events
