The Director, Central Team, will develop and oversee programmes across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, playing a key role in realising our vision of building the Freshwater Network.

As a member of the Senior Management Team the postholder will lead the Central Team and work across the following areas:

About the role:

Housing can be the thing that helps a young person breathe again — but only when it feels safe, understood and possible to manage. At Camden Young Person’s High Support Accommodation, this role will help turn the practical side of housing into something young people can learn from, build confidence in and use as a stepping stone towards independence.

As Young Person’s Worker — Housing Focus, you’ll support the smooth running of the accommodation while working directly with young people around the housing responsibilities linked to their stay. This will include move-ins, licence agreements, rent and service charge prompts, repairs, voids, occupancy records, building standards and housing-related actions. You’ll work closely with the Service Manager, colleagues, landlords, contractors and internal teams to help keep the service safe, organised and responsive.

This is still a relationship-based role at its heart. You’ll use trauma informed, psychologically informed and strengths-based approaches to help young people understand expectations, build routines, solve problems and prepare for move-on. The Role

ROLE PURPOSE:

This is an exciting new role in the team which will support the growth of the Retention programme by supporting on the delivery of campaigns and supporter journeys, and helping to optimise the processes, systems and ways-of-working across the team.

The successful candidate will join a supportive and vibrant team in our mission to deliver best-in-class donor experiences and grow unrestricted income, inspiring UK individuals to become long term supporters of ShelterBox. Reporting to the Retention Manager this post will work closely with the Retention Officer to deliver engaging supporter experiences to our existing individual supporters.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a talented, well-organised individual with an interest in international aid, and who is keen begin their journey in Individual Giving and develop their fundraising experience.

The successful candidate will be practically-minded and methodical with great attention to detail - and ideally have a creative touch. They will be confident bringing their skills to a range of different tasks and projects.

They will have excellent communication and numerical skills and be able to manage their varied workload to tight deadlines.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

• Proofing support with appeal and supporter magazine copy and artwork.

• Support with the creation of appeal emails.

• Working with the Retention Officer to create and update campaign reviews.

• Update our appeal 'marketing book' with appeal performance data.

• Create engaging thank you letters for our appeals and engagement activities.

• Work alongside the rest of the Retention Team to develop our existing supporter journeys.

• Work with the Retention Officer to update our campaign planning tools throughout the year.

• Work closely with the insight team and the Retention Officer to plan appeal testing strategies and complete appeal evaluations.

• Working alongside the Website team to create appeal page content, including creating relevant CRM coding, ensuring seamless integration with our CRM and reporting systems.

• Help develop fundraising materials by sourcing impactful photos and case studies from our internal asset library.

• Be part of the data checking team, reviewing outgoing data files before they go to our print partners.

• Support the Retention Officer and CRM team with the creation and management of our campaigns on the CRM.

• Assist in the delivery of major disaster appeals.

• Handle administrative tasks such as organising meetings, taking minutes and following up on agreed actions - ensuring that project documents, and plans are kept up to date.

• Ensure that Retention invoice and PO logs are kept up to date.

• Keep up to date with developments in the fundraising sector, particularly in relation to best practice.

• Respond to enquiries from other internal teams.

• Any other duties as deemed necessary to support the Retention team, including some out-of-office working hours during high profile disasters.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Data and Insights Officer to join our Impact and Evaluation team and shape how data is used at Chance to Shine. The role holder will strengthen our data practices and lead our monitoring analysis to ensure data is used effectively to support continuous improvement, planning and shape future priorities. They will play a key role in helping Chance to Shine use data in line with wider best practice by working collaboratively with internal and external partners, and being proactive in identifying and driving improvements.

This is a London Office based contract. A minimum of two days a week in the office would be required with the option to work from home on the other days. The role holder will need to be flexible as and when they are required to attend meetings, events, mostly in London but elsewhere around the country.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead management, analysis and reporting of monitoring data – ensuring the organisation and partners have timely, robust and relevant analysis. Engaging data visualisation to meet needs of different audiences.

· Plan and deliver data quality assurance processes; regular KPI analysis for England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Sport England and internal reporting; and analysis to support fundraising applications and reports.

Our Youth and Play Practitioners will play a pivotal role in the Children, Young People and Families (CYPF) team, working as a core team of practitioners to ensure the smooth running of our programmes and services. • Significant experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally as a COO, Head of Operations or Director of Operations in a charity, social enterprise or purpose-driven organisation.

• Demonstrable track record of building and improving operational infrastructure: systems, processes, policies and ways of working that make organisations more effective and resilient.

• Proven people management experience, including line management of senior staff, performance development, recruitment and team culture-building.

About the role

Church Army is entering a new chapter - with fresh leadership, a developing strategy and a real opportunity for someone to help shape how fundraising and engagement looks going forward. The beauty of this reimagined role is that it's both strategic and hands-on, with chance to learn and develop, potentially adding new strings to your fundraising bow.

The role holds responsibility for individual giving, legacies and trusts fundraising, but we don't expect you to come with it all. You'll be given the time, space and tools to develop any skills and experience you don't currently have.

What we definitely need is someone with a strong foundation in Individual Giving - that means the ability to lead on campaigns and product development, as well as confidently manage pipeline planning.

You'll take creative control and responsibility for delivering effective multi-channel fundraising appeals, including key moments in the campaign calendar, such as the Christmas appeal. Using insight, storytelling and data to deepen relationships and grow income, you'll develop meaningful supporter journeys that recruit, retain and inspire generosity. Working closely with colleagues across communications, operations and programmes, you'll help strengthen collaboration across teams, ensuring day-to-day activity and processes support the shared goal of bringing Church Army's mission to life.

You'll also line manage the Individual Giving Officer, providing guidance and support, as well as supervising and supporting the Trusts Consultant and Legacy Consultant. This could be a perfect development opportunity for someone looking to build or grow their leadership experience.

About you

• You're already an experienced Individual Giving fundraiser with a passion and talent for exceptional storytelling, able to write compelling copy that inspires people to take action.
• You can demonstrate previous experience managing campaigns or projects end-to-end and feel confident working with data and insight to optimise results.
• You either already see yourself as a leader or have ambition to be one, with the potential and capability to lead by example and provide guidance and mentorships to others.

We really want to emphasise that you don't need to tick all the boxes to be considered, but you do need to be motivated to broaden your skillset and experience, with natural curiosity and a solutions-focused way of being.

Youth Mentor / Regional Team Lead (we call it Senior Programme Coordinator)

What you’ll be doing

As Senior Programme Coordinator, you'll help make sure that support reaches as many young people as possible and that it's delivered to a consistently high standard.

You'll lead a small team of sports coaches and youth mentors, helping them plan great sessions, develop their practice and overcome the day-to-day challenges that come with the job. You'll also build and maintain strong relationships with schools, alternative provisions and community partners to keep programmes running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role. Alongside keeping regional delivery on track, you'll still spend time working directly with young people: being a positive presence, modelling good practice and helping create the kind of safe, engaging environments where young people can thrive.

You'll also take the lead on the activities that go beyond our weekly sessions such as organising holiday programmes, Career Taster Days, regional trips and events that give young people experiences they wouldn't otherwise have. These are some of the most rewarding parts of the role and a real chance to see young people shine in a different context.

Building relationships in the community is a big part of this too. You'll get to know the local area, embed yourself in the networks around it and find partners, venues and opportunities that help deepen out work and enhance our engagement with young people.

Summary of Role

The Head of Business Operations will play a key leadership role within The Brain Charity, leading and overseeing the effective and safe delivery of a range of business and operational activities. This includes responsibility for premises management, health and safety, data protection compliance, ICT systems, and operational services such as room hire and café provision.

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and senior colleagues, the role will ensure that systems, processes and services run efficiently, meet regulatory requirements, and support the charity’s wider objectives. The postholder will also lead on continuous improvement, oversee operational performance, manage budgets and commercial activities, and develop sustainable income-generating services that support people living with neurological conditions.
 

Key Responsibilities

Management of Physical Assets

• Hold responsibility for the organisation’s assets register.
• Ensure that all buildings owned by the organisation and their fixtures and fittings are maintained to a high standard in a cost-effective way.

Health & Safety, Security & Business Continuity

• Provide leadership and assurance on the effectiveness of Health & Safety controls across the organisation.
• Ensure the safe, secure and continuous operation of the charity’s premises, including oversight of access arrangements, security controls, and incident response.
• Ensure Health & Safety and food safety policies are in place, effectively implemented, embedded into day-to-day operations, and consistently monitored to maintain full compliance across all operational activities.
• Ensure statutory checks, monitoring activities and remedial actions are completed, documented and reviewed in line with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain organisational readiness for incidents affecting premises safety, security, or continuity of service delivery, and act as the designated Deputy within the Business Continuity Plan, carrying out responsibilities in line with the defined scope and actions of the plan.

Data Protection & GDPR

• Support and contribute to ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection legislation across the organisation.
• Support the CEO and senior leadership team in meeting data protection responsibilities, including compliance reporting and engagement with the ICO and Subject Access Requests where required.

ICT, Digital & Systems Oversight

• Provide oversight of ICT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 accounts and CRM systems, ensuring they support operational and business objectives.
• Produce and present quarterly reports covering ICT performance, KPIs, system risks and improvement activity.
• Manage supplier relationships and contracts for IT support services, including due diligence, contract management and renewal.
• Support ICT and CRM development initiatives in line with organisational priorities.
• Ensure compliance with Cyber Essentials requirements and oversee the organisation’s cyber security posture.

Operational Management

• Take responsibility for improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the café, room hire services.
• Work collaboratively with the Communications Team to support the promotion and advertising of business activities, including room hire and café services.
• Lead and manage facilities refurbishment and improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Our role is to champion the specialty, set standards of training and practice, and influence change to make a difference to the lives of patients with eye conditions.

Job Purpose  

The Director of Finance and Operations plays an important role within the College, providing strategic leadership, oversight and development of a portfolio of corporate support functions. This includes finance, membership, HR, IT and facilities. 

This role has responsibility for a team of 8 members of staff and also forms a key part of our Senior Leadership Team, taking corporate responsibility for the overall direction and operational management of the College. 

Main responsibilities 

1. To lead the strategic and operational management of our finance function 

• Provide strategic leadership and quality assurance for the annual budgeting and forecasting process, delivered by the Financial Controller and finance team 

• Review and challenge monthly management accounts, forecasts and financial performance reports prepared by the Financial Controller, working closely with budget holders

• Present financial reports and analysis to the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees to underpin informed discussion and decision-making

• Oversee, develop and maintain effective finance systems to reflect best practice and to help ensure timely and accurate figures  

• Provide assurance to the Chief Executive and Trustees that appropriate systems and controls are in place to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements 

• Provide executive oversight of the annual audit and statutory reporting process led by the Financial Controller, including the production of the annual report, working closely with auditors and ensuring that any management control points are implemented promptly 

• Lead trustee engagement on investment strategy and monitor investment performance 

• Support the operation of the College’s trading subsidiary 

• Co-ordinate the College’s use of restricted funds, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.

The post holder will:

-Line manage 3 Co-ordinators and support the whole team to ensure timely, high quality communications with supporters and the general public.

- Support the management team with complaint handling and resolution, responding to complex emails and acting as an escalation point for Safeguarding concerns identified during team interactions (it is essential the post holder has Safeguarding experience)

-Create process notes, ensuring the team are briefed on upcoming activities and that templates and FAQs are up to date.

-Lead on and participate in team wide projects to utilise AI and other technology to improve supporter experiences

- Act as first line of support for the team on a day to day basis to resolve real time queries

-Foster strong relationships with the fundraising teams we work closely with, helping ensure events and activities are successful and engagement opportunities maximised.
