Cambridge Muslim College is now focused on strengthening its long-term fundraising strategy and sustainability. The College has an established and diverse fundraising programme encompassing major donors, regular giving, campaigns and corporate partnerships, with significant opportunities to deepen existing donor relationships and develop new sources of support. This includes growing major giving beyond the annual Ramadan period, further developing the College’s Friends and Patrons programme, and building new corporate and international partnerships.

The Development Manager (Fundraising & Engagement) will play a pivotal role in this next phase, combining hands-on income generation with strategic leadership of fundraising and engagement. Working closely with the Registrar, senior leadership and Trustees, you will shape and deliver a more structured and sustainable approach to philanthropy while leading a small Development team encompassing fundraising operations and communications. This is a broad, relationship-led role with significant scope to strengthen systems, develop new opportunities and build long-term relationships with the donors and communities who support the College.

As Development Manager (Fundraising & Engagement), you will:

• Develop and deliver the College’s fundraising and donor engagement strategy
• Build and manage strong relationships with major donors and prospects
• Identify, cultivate and secure new funding opportunities across a diverse funding base
• Lead fundraising campaigns and develop compelling cases for support
• Develop major donor fundraising, including new business and opportunities to grow support beyond Ramadan

• Experience developing compelling cases for support and effective stewardship strategies
• Demonstrable experience of engaging with Muslim communities and an understanding of faith-based giving practices, including Zakat and Sadaqah

SV 2 is a charity supporting victims and survivors of sexual abuse or assault across Derby City and Derbyshire.

Contract: Self employed

The registered aims of the Charity are:

• To help relieve the suffering and distress of persons who have been raped or sexually abused; and
• To advance the education of the public in the subject of rape and sexual abuse and their effects.

We do this by providing a range of support, education and prevention services, including our BACP accredited therapy service.

Summary of the role and requirement:

 The subcontracted therapist be willing to commit to a minimum of 4 clients per week for adults and 3 clients per week for Children, delivering a high-quality specialist therapeutic service to victims of sexual violence. This work will be face to face and can be delivered at any time, on any day of the week. The Subcontractor will liaise with the Therapy Delivery Manager.

As a sub-contracted therapist, you will:

• Deliver high quality and ethical therapeutic practice
• Be in receipt of supervision in line with BACP requirements
• Provide clinical assessments
• Liaise with parents, carers and guardians (Children’s Therapist)
• Provide a short-term model of 8 sessions per adult client and 10 sessions per child client in line with pre-trial guidelines and SV2 business needs
• Collaborate with Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA), other team members and external practitioners and professionals to provide specialist clinical services as required
• Monitor therapeutic progress through regular reviews and the use of outcome measures set out by the organisation
• Maintain current and accurate records of clients and client interactions utilising SV2’s case management system
• To attend mandatory training including SV2 induction and local authority Safeguarding Level3
• Have knowledge and awareness of dissociation, the impact of trauma and vicarious trauma, and an understanding of crisis management
• Develop and maintain knowledge and skills relevant to this area of work
• Meet the needs of the Organisation, client group and sexual offences legislation
• Adhere to the BACP Code of Ethics adopted by SV2

This is an exciting new role to deliver policy change and enhance the rights of people with a learning disability. At a key time to influence health reform, we are seeking a policy specialist to shape policy work that reflects the needs and experiences of people with a learning disability and their families. Working within the policy team, you will be responsible for developing evidence-based policy work and influencing decision-makers.

Who Are We Looking For? 

We are seeking an experienced Associate Trainer to deliver high-quality training and workshops across Northern Ireland on behalf of Ygam as and when required. Although remote working, they would need to be living in NI for travel and delivery purposes. This position is offered on a self-employed associate basis (contract for services). The post holder will facilitate engaging learning experiences, maintain high standards of safeguarding and quality assurance, and contribute to Ygam's mission by helping professionals understand and respond to gaming and gambling-related harms affecting children and young people.

The role is ideal for an experienced trainer, educator or youth practitioner with strong facilitation skills and knowledge of safeguarding, education or public health, who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people.  You will be confident working independently and remotely, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.

You will be skilled at adapting training delivery to meet the needs of different audiences and contexts, ensuring sessions are inclusive, engaging and responsive to participant needs.

Main Role and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering training across Ygam’s portfolio of programmes, including education, youth work, health, social care, community and sporting sectors.

Role Requirements

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Delivery 

· Deliver the Ygam portfolio of workshops (online and face to face)

· Provide high-quality training to a range of professionals and young people in line with Ygam’s quality standards and facilitator guidance

· Be responsive to delegates needs, providing excellent customer service and answering questions and queries in a supportive manner

· Provide regular feedback on training materials, recommending adjustments if needed for Northern Ireland

Person Specification 

Essential:

· Experience delivering training online and face to face training to both adults, children and young people

· Proficiency with online delivery and experience using MS Teams and Zoom to facilitate online learning

· Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards of organisation

· Understanding of safeguarding principles and their application within education, youth, health or community settings

· Ability to explain complex topics such as gaming risks, online behaviours and digital harms in a clear and accessible way.

We are seeking a Communications and Engagement Officer to support our Policy and Public Affairs team and lead on engaging with our members. You will be the main point of contact for our members and support our Policy team to mobilise the collective voice of our membership to influence public policy and drive long-lasting, systemic change. Main duties and responsibilities:

Membership engagement 

• Support potential new members through our member application process, prepare applications for review by the board 

• Arrange inductions with new members, including arranging induction meetings between senior staff and CEOs

We are looking for a Housing and Destitution Caseworker to join our small, impactful team and provide or co-ordinate advice on welfare and housing issues to migrants. 

ABOUT US

Hackney Migrant Centre (HMC) is a community-based charity providing free legal advice, casework support and holistic support services to refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants.

Approximately 50% of the people we support are homeless, and many are experiencing destitution due to precarious immigration status, the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) restriction or whilst living undocumented in the UK. HMC’s work is informed by our vision of a UK where no one is forced into destitution, exploitation, or vulnerability because of their immigration status.

HMC is currently a small team of 7 employees, including a CEO, Community Manager, Immigration Team Manager, Immigration Caseworker and Access to Justice Coordinator, and an Administrative Support Officer alongside a larger team of up to 60 volunteers.

ABOUT OUR SERVICES

We are based in our office in Stoke Newington, where we provide immigration advice & representation and our housing advice and casework support services. We also offer regular community sessions in a local venue on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. We call these sessions our ‘Wednesday Service’. The Wednesday Service has historically been the heart and soul of HMC, and it continues to play a key role in our service delivery, accessibility and community presence.

Our Wednesday Service is a multi-functioning hub, offering a warm, welcoming and accessible space for:

• Legal advice appointments with HMC advisors and external specialist partners

• Casework appointments with staff and specialist volunteers

• Holistic advocacy appointments delivered by our volunteers

Our team supports an average of 350 people across all our service areas.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Housing and Destitution Caseworker will provide or co-ordinate advice on welfare and housing issues to migrants. This will include people visiting the Wednesday Service or referred by the Immigration Team. The post holder will assist with follow-up casework, and recruit and develop a small volunteer Housing and Destitution Support Team to support with these tasks. The post-holder will work to build partnerships with external specialist advisers, to expand our diagnostic advice provision and support with successful referrals for onward legal challenges.

Main duties

• Provide casework and advocacy support to homeless and destitute migrants regarding housing, and welfare entitlements including asylum support, Children Act and Care Act duties, mainstream benefits and homeless duties.

• Develop and coordinate partnerships with external specialist housing advisors to deliver housing advice and take on cases where able.

• Recruit and induct volunteers to a small Housing and Destitution Support Team and supervise their work.

• Keep up to date with legislation and practical guidance required to support destitute migrants, including attending relevant training sessions.

• Provide training to HMC’s volunteers on housing and destitution issues.

• Make referrals to public law/community care and housing legal representatives for complex casework and legal challenges such as judicial review.

• Identify where visitors need to access mental health or specialist support and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with HMC’s safeguarding procedures.

• Maintain records on all casework, regularly review progress during the casework journey, and ensure that cases are closed when support has ended.

Partnerships

• Develop links and partnerships with other organisations to enable effective joint working.

• Collect information, statistics and case studies on destitute migrants and the issues they face for the purposes of improving service quality and to meet the requirements of funders.

Role Purpose

The Head of Commercial Income is a senior leadership role and a member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

The postholder will lead the Charity's commercial income function, with responsibility for growing sustainable income through commissioned and commercial services, training, Ask Jan membership and other opportunities.

This is a strategic, commercially focused and hands-on role. The postholder will be a visible face of the Charity, building strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, public sector organisations, businesses and other partners. A particular focus will be growing the Charity's position within the statutory sector. We are seeking a Policy Manager to lead IPSEA's policy and influencing work to achieve positive change for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families. Working closely with the Chief Executive, Head of Legal and Training, trustees and colleagues across the organisation, you will set strategic policy priorities and develop evidence-based influencing plans that support IPSEA's mission and long-term objectives.

Drawing on insights from our advice and tribunal services, legal expertise and the experiences of families, you will identify systemic issues within the SEND system and develop policy solutions that improve children and young people's access to the support and education to which they are entitled. You will ensure that IPSEA's policy positions are credible, legally robust and informed by the lived experiences of those we support.

You will lead IPSEA's engagement with government, Parliament and other key decision-makers, identifying opportunities to influence legislation, policy and practice at both national and local level. This includes overseeing responses to consultations, parliamentary inquiries and calls for evidence, as well as preparing briefings and strategic advice to support senior-level engagement and advocacy.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across legal, communications, fundraising and training teams, you will ensure IPSEA's policy, campaigning and public affairs activities are aligned and maximise the organisation's impact. You will also monitor developments across the political, legal and policy landscape, helping IPSEA respond proactively to emerging opportunities and challenges affecting the rights of children and young people with SEND.

About Us

For over 21 years, The Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre has offered free, holistic support to anyone in our community affected by cancer through complementary therapies, talking therapies, art, and our supportive community.

In 2025 alone, we had 1,911 individual visits and 1,021 therapy sessions - entirely through the dedication of our volunteer team. We are currently renovating our new centre, and we want to use it to reach further into our community than ever before. This is the first paid role in our history.

About the Role

As our first Executive Director, you will be the single point of accountability between our Board of Trustees and the day-to-day operation of the Centre - working alongside our (voluntary) Centre Manager and (voluntary) Volunteer Manager to support their roles, not duplicate them. You'll lead our strategy delivery, guide the charity's move into its new home, and oversee a service redesign informed by a fresh programme of visitor, volunteer and community research.

• Lead on the development and implementation of Routes' income generation strategy, working closely with the Fundraising Manager and Co-CEO

• Write thought leadership pieces for the Routes blog, contributing to Routes' voice and visibility in the sector

Leadership Development and Learning

• Take ownership of your own professional development, using the annual training budget to attend relevant training, events, and sector learning opportunities that strengthen your contribution to Routes and the wider sector

There are some areas of responsibility that sit under the other Co-CEO, but we would expect the person in this role to maintain some oversight or involvement in to enable smooth co-working between the roles. These are:

• Safeguarding: Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) when required, ensuring Routes meets its safeguarding obligations and that staff and volunteers are appropriately supported

• Finance: Attend and contribute to monthly finance meetings, planned by other Co-CEO, maintaining a clear understanding of the organisation's financial position and flagging any concerns to the Co-CEO and board

• Governance: Attend board meetings, providing updates on areas of responsibility and supporting the board to fulfil its governance function

Person Specification

Experience

• Experience in a senior leadership role within the charity, social enterprise, or public sector

• Demonstrable experience of managing and developing staff, with a coaching and supportive leadership style

• Experience of income generation in a charity or social enterprise context, including either grant fundraising, corporate partnerships, or programme sales

• Experience of designing or overseeing monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks and producing reports that communicate impact clearly

• Experience of managing operational and governance responsibilities, including policy development and working with a board

• Experience leading teams in challenging, fast-changing and resource-constrained environments 

• Experience of working with or for communities facing marginalisation, discrimination, or structural disadvantage, and a deep understanding of the barriers refugee and asylum seeking women face in the UK

Skills and Knowledge

• Ability to balance day to day operational oversight with long term strategic planning, ensuring that Routes’ work remains in line with values and objectives whilst responding to the changing needs of participants and the external landscape

• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write compellingly for different audiences

• Financially literate, with the ability to read and engage meaningfully with management accounts and budgets

• Highly organised, with the ability to manage a broad and varied portfolio without dropping the ball

• Comfortable working with data, both quantitative and qualitative, and using it to draw meaningful conclusions

• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust quickly with a wide range of stakeholders including funders, corporate partners, board members, and colleagues

• Sound understanding of CIC/charity governance and good practice, and the ability to make confident decisions independently while knowing when to consult

Additionally, it would be desirable for you to be trained as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, but training on this can be provided.

A Note on Experience

We know that leadership experience takes many forms, and that people from marginalised communities,  including those with lived experience of the asylum system, are often underrepresented at senior levels in the charity sector despite having exactly the qualities and understanding this role requires.
