Job Title: Quality and Service Coordinator

The organisation rescues high quality edible surplus food, from across the food industry and gets it to over 8,000 organisations across the UK who are working to strengthen communities and improve lives.
The charity manages seven depots across London, Suffolk, Merseyside and Hampshire and works with 16 network partners who operate a further 26 regional depots across the UK.
Over the next year our ambition is to rescue enough food nationally to provide nearly 200 million meals, turning an environmental problem into social good with measurable impact for people, planet, and the economy.
Purpose of the Job
The Quality and Service Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the reliability and quality of our systems by carrying out testing activity for enhancements across Salesforce, Dynamics and Business Central. The role supports the smooth delivery of changes by combining structured testing with targeted service support, including triage of incoming issues and resolution of tickets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- reating test plans based on user requirements with the Service Manager to enable testing to be done by the wider business.
- Create clear documentation regarding test outcomes, learnings from the enhancements and suggestions to improve them moving forward.
- Work proactively with the business to understand key systems and how they work.
- Be an internal point of contact between the business and our external IT provider by assisting in approval, information gathering to ensure smooth service.
- Support the Service Manager to ensure that tickets are managed and resolved within a timely manner.
- Monitor recurring issues and share insights that help improve system quality and inform future enhancements.
- Work with the business and the Service desk manager to understand prioritisation of work and assist in working out return on investment of required work.
- Carry out manual testing on BAU changes and new enhancements in the following systems – Salesforce, Dynamics, PowerBI and Business Central.
- Adhering to team set KPIS on ticket resolutions
- Retrospective reviews regarding test plans, facilitation of testing and manually testing.
- Monthly calls with the service manager to pass on learnings and review process of tickets.

Role purpose
The Commercial Income Lead is a senior, entrepreneurial role responsible for shaping, growing and diversifying West Horsley Place’s commercial income.

- To oversee the scheduling, production and distribution of promotional e-mails for our events. About the role
This new role is to support the growth of Marine Society apprenticeship and adult skills provision. This is a strategic, outward-facing role requiring a confident astute individual who can engage key stakeholders and employers in the maritime industry to recruit new entrants and existing employees onto Marine Society programmes.
Responsibilities
· To grow the apprenticeship and adult skills provision in line with agreed annual recruitment and financial targets
· To develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective employers and learners, proactively identifying new apprenticeship and learning opportunities within the maritime industry. To secure repeat business with apprenticeship employers through cultivating long-term relationships.
· To work with the Director of Maritime Training and Development to devise a sales and marketing strategy to grow the apprenticeship and adult skills provision. To support the tendering process to ASF devolved areas and work with subcontractor partners.
· To collaborate with the Apprenticeship Operations Manager and Maritime Lead Trainer to convert identified leads and share industry intelligence.
· To assist the Digital Marketing Coordinator to write targeted social media posts and marketing campaigns, ensuring market visibility and lead generation. To build a library of promotional literature and good news stories.
· To maintain accurate records of business development leads and pipeline activity within the CRM system and to routinely report on these
· Attend relevant external boards, fora and industry bodies, as directed in order to promote maritime apprenticeships and training including; Maritime Skills Alliance, Workboat Association, MNTB apprenticeship committee and Port Skills and Safety
· To attend industry trade fairs and careers events to represent Marine Society. These include; National Apprenticeship Week, Seawork, International Boat Show
· To research and monitor market trends, employer needs and competitor activity to inform business development strategy
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a recruitment, sales or commercial role with a proven track record of achieving financial targets
- Knowledge of the maritime sector including roles, ranks and certifications in the near coastal sector
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients and stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify, grow and convert new business opportunities
- Experience using CRM systems to monitor and report on business leads

a. Administration of the functions and systems involved in providing an effective and efficient exchange hardback library or recyclable paperback library service to ships and maritime installations

AFK is a national charity helping young disabled people develop their independence and find employment. As part of this we provide bespoke travel training on London’s public transport network to and from school, college and work placements in the North London area.
We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible candidates to train and support young people to travel specified journeys safely and independently using public transport.
Overall Job Purpose
To train and support a young person to travel a specified journey safely and independently using public transport. Record your observations and give feedback to the travel training coordinator, the young person and their family. To take part in reviews of training as it progresses.
Working Conditions
- Casual working assignment with no minimum hours guaranteed
- Each assignment must be mutually agreed by both parties

Responsibilities
- Support a young person door-to-door as they travel on public transport.

- Record your observations using standardised forms and relay your observations to the travel training coordinator on a weekly basis.
- Allow the young person to learn independently and only guide, support or intervene when necessary (this will be included in your induction)
- Approach travel training in a positive manner by reinforcing achievements and viewing obstacles as opportunities to learn. Discuss strategies and agree solutions with the young person, their family and the travel training coordinator.
- To contact the travel training coordinator immediately if there are any emergencies or unexpected situations.
- Ensure that the young person is trained to use the alternative route safely and independently.
- Ensure that the young person learns and/or knows how to contact parents or carers in case of an emergency
- Any issues or concerns must be raised with the travel training coordinator or the business development manager.
