This is an exciting opportunity to join GamCare Yorkshire's Community Outreach & Training service, supporting a public health approach to preventing gambling-related harm and encouraging early intervention. As an Outreach & Training Practitioner, you'll deliver community outreach, awareness sessions, workshops, drop-ins and workforce training to improve understanding of gambling harms, reduce stigma and strengthen local pathways to support.
Working with local partners, professionals and community organisations, you'll deliver prevention-focused activity informed by local insight and lived experience, including Brief Interventions and appropriate signposting to the National Gambling Helpline and treatment services where needed. About you
We're looking for a motivated and compassionate individual with experience delivering community-based outreach, engagement or prevention activity, and a good understanding of gambling-related harm within a public health, prevention or early intervention context. You'll be confident holding supportive conversations that encourage awareness and behaviour change, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to engage professionals and diverse or seldom-heard communities. Experience delivering training, workshops and awareness sessions in a non-judgemental, stigma-reducing way is important, as is strong organisational skills, confidence using IT systems, and a commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries. Duties & Responsibilities:
Global HR Operations -
· Maintain a high-quality global HR operations function, including standardized policies where legally appropriate, standardized processes, technology, systems, tools, forms, and guidelines that are accessible, well understood, and consistently utilized across all offices.
· Balance global organizational standards and compliance requirements with the operational, cultural, and legal realities of individual country offices, ensuring an appropriate and practical approach across diverse environments.
· Build trusted relationships with global office leadership, HR and Country Directors, to encourage transparency, collaboration, and timely sharing of HR-related information necessary for effective operations, risk management, and compliance.

Employee Services -

· Ensure all offices and employees hired through EOR arrangements have access to an HR Help Desk or equivalent support structure with timely communication, responsiveness, and follow-up.
· In consultation with the VP HR and General Counsel, and in coordination with HRBPs, manage complex employee relations matters in a balanced, fair, and objective manner using appropriate counseling, investigative, intervention, and mediation techniques.

Qualifications:
Education -

About the Role
The Development Officer will support the delivery of the Association’s income generation and partnership strategy, helping to diversify and grow funding streams across corporate partnerships, philanthropy, grants and strategic collaborations. The Playhouse Ensembles Director will be responsible for leading 10 ensembles in total, including:
The role holder will take a strategic oversight to the work of the various ensembles and work with freelancers to deliver the sessions. Within this role, you will direct two of the ensembles yourself and manage freelance artists to lead the other ensembles.
The work you enable to happen will respond to the Leeds Playhouse mission and programme, the priorities of our key partners and the emerging needs of the city.
