It's a Tuesday afternoon in a school hall in Luton. Multiple Year 9s are sitting in a loose circle, arms crossed, faces doing that thing teenagers do when they've decided nothing is going to impress them. Twenty minutes later, one of them- a boy who hasn't said a word in class all term, according to his form tutor- is on his feet, mid-sentence, telling the room what he actually wants to do with his life. That shift has happened because his Yes Futures coach believed in him, and in turn he now believes in himself.

Who we are

Yes Futures is a youth coaching charity. We put professional coaches in front of young people who would otherwise never get that kind of one-to-one belief and challenge: leadership coaches, life coaches and executive coaches, the kind normally hired by boardrooms. Our flagship programme, Rising Futures, works in secondary schools, where teachers choose the students they believe will gain most from it. That looks different in every school. It might be a student whose confidence has dipped, or one who has never once put their hand up in class. What we give them is the same: someone whose whole job is to believe in them, and the tools to start believing in themselves. 

The programme combines one-to-one coaching with experiential learning days: from pitching product ideas inside a real company on a World of Work day to raft building and rock climbing on an Into the Wild day; experiences many of our students would never otherwise get. 

We're financially stable and growing across London and the South East. This role is part of that growth.

Introduction to the role

• Reporting to: Director of Programme
• Contract Type: Fixed term (6 months, with a genuine prospect of extension into a longer or permanent role, based on performance and demand)
• Start Date: 1st September 2026 or sooner
• Salary: £33,500-£37,000 (negotiable within this range) +5% employer pension contribution
• Working Hours: Full-time preferred; part-time considered depending on location and travel (see below) 
• Location and working pattern: Hybrid (Roughly 20% home-based, 10% office-based, 70% travel across partner schools) 
• Travel: The role will require travel across our partner schools and colleges in London and the South East. Currently this is as far west as Reading, south as South London, north as Luton, east as Essex.
  • ​You don't need to be able to cover the whole patch. If you can only serve some of these areas, apply anyway. Depending on where our strongest candidates are based, we may take on more than one person, including part-time, to split the geography between them.

This is not term-time only. It runs across the full contract, not just school terms.

Role purpose

The Programme Delivery Coordinator will be the person on the ground making Rising Futures actuallyhappen: in the room with young people, out on the experiential days that take the programme beyond the classroom, alongside our coaches, and in the relationships with schools that keep everything running. You'll combine direct delivery with the coordination and follow-through that turns a good session into a programme that holds together over months.

There will also be ad hoc demands beyond the core programme- this is a role for someone comfortable with a bit of unpredictability, not a fixed routine.

Key Responsibilities- What you’ll be doing

Delivery

• Deliver Rising Futures sessions and workshops directly in schools, working closely with students, educators and coaches

• Act as the main point of contact for your assigned school cohorts, keeping communication sharp and things running smoothly

• Plan and deliver our experiential learning days: World of Work days inside real employers, and Into the Wild days of outdoor challenge at activity centres

• Support monitoring and evaluation of impact: collecting data and feedback that actually gets used, not filed away

• Capture photos and videos of delivery in action for our reporting and communications

Coaches and relationships

• Support recruitment, selection and onboarding of coaches and volunteers

• Keep coaches equipped and confident to deliver high-quality sessions

• Build and maintain strong relationships with partner schools- the kind that make a partner school want to work with us again next year

Making it run

• Coordinate the logistics of delivery: scheduling, materials, venues

• Keep safeguarding and health and safety front of mind, always

• Handle the administrative side of delivery- records and reporting done properly, not as an afterthought

Who we're looking for

Forget the standard checklist for a moment. What we actually need is someone who can walk into a room of thirty teenagers who don't know you and don't owe you their attention, and have most of them leaning in within five minutes.

If you've done that before- as a teacher, youth worker, coach, facilitator, performer, anything- you probably already know whether this is you.

Essential

• Experience delivering programmes or workshops to young people in educational or youth development settings

• An ability to quickly establish effective relationships based on trust and respect with both children and adults, both within a group setting and one-to-one

• Excellent communication with a wide range of stakeholders: young people, school staff, parents, coaches, volunteers and employer partners, adjusting your style for each

• A proactive, flexible attitude- things will change, and you'll adapt without losing momentum

• Strong organisation and time management- comfortable holding several moving parts at once

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• A passion for Yes Futures' work and a drive to increase the charity's reach

• Willing and able to travel across London and the South East as required, including travelling independently to schools with equipment and resource suitcases

• Proficient computer use, including word processing, spreadsheets and video conferencing

Desirable

• Understanding of safeguarding policy and best practice with young people

• Experience coordinating or administering youth programmes

• Familiarity with impact measurement and programme evaluation

• A keen interest and up-to-date knowledge in education matters and issues affecting young people

As Mental Health Practitioner, you’ll help young people in Camden Young Person’s High Support Accommodation Service build trust, understand their options and access the health and mental health support they need to move towards safety, wellbeing and independence.

What we're looking for

About the role

The Head of Income Generation is a new and important leadership role within Stonewall Housing, created to grow and diversify our voluntary income and support the next stage of our development as a nationwide LGBTQ+ housing and homelessness charity.

Reporting to the Director of Development, you will lead the development and delivery of ambitious income generation plans, with a particular focus on significantly growing income from corporate giving and partnerships.

You will build on Stonewall Housing’s existing corporate relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities across the UK. This will include strategic and commercial partnerships, Charity of the Year relationships, corporate donations, corporate foundations, employee fundraising, sponsorship, cause-related marketing and other opportunities for businesses and their employees to support our work.

You will develop compelling partnership propositions, lead applications and pitches, build relationships with senior decision-makers and create opportunities that deliver sustainable income alongside wider value for Stonewall Housing and the LGBTQ+ communities we support.

Alongside your focus on corporate income, you will work across Stonewall Housing’s wider fundraising portfolio, contributing to the development and growth of individual giving, major donor fundraising, community fundraising and other voluntary income streams. You will identify opportunities for different areas of fundraising to complement one another and create meaningful pathways for supporters to deepen their relationship with Stonewall Housing.

This is a senior role that combines strategic thinking with hands-on income generation. • Develop engaging supporter journeys that strengthen acquisition, engagement, retention and long-term support.

• Develop fundraising products, campaigns and activities that are accessible, engaging and capable of generating sustainable income.

• Identify opportunities to connect corporate engagement with individual giving, including employee donations, payroll giving, matched funding and workplace fundraising.

• Use supporter insight and fundraising data to improve engagement, retention and long-term value.

• Explore new and emerging income opportunities where these align with Stonewall Housing’s values, strategic priorities and organisational capacity.

Income strategy and development

• Work with the Director of Development to develop and deliver Stonewall Housing’s multi-year income generation strategy.

Katherine Low Settlement is a busy, local charity that has been serving Battersea and the wider Wandsworth community since 1924. We are dedicated to building stronger communities and enable people to challenge and find ways out of poverty and isolation.   

We run a range of our own community services to support local older people and children, young people, and their families from refugee communities. We campaign for social change. We incubate and support other charities and social businesses to thrive. Each week we work with 30+ charities and community groups supporting more than 1,000 people. 

About the Role

The Lead Youth Worker plays a key role in shaping, coordinating and delivering high-quality youth provision within the Future Foundations programme at KLS. Reporting to the Head of Future Foundations, this role combines hands-on youth work with leadership, coordination and safeguarding responsibility, ensuring that children and young people are supported through safe, inclusive and engaging activities that promote their personal, social and educational development.

You will lead on the planning, delivery and evaluation of homework clubs, youth activities, trips and holiday programmes, while line-managing and supporting two Youth Workers and supervising interns and volunteers. You will work closely with families, schools, community partners and colleagues across KLS to provide joined-up, responsive support for young people. This is a people-centred leadership role requiring strong safeguarding practice, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships. You will champion youth voice, promote positive behaviour and inclusion, and contribute to continuous improvement through reflection, data and learning.

Key Responsibilities 

Youth Club & Holiday Programme 

• Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of the youth club for newly arrived young people, within Future Foundations, ensuring sessions are safe, inclusive, engaging and developmentally appropriate. 

• Develop session plans and programmes that support young people’s learning, wellbeing and confidence, using participatory and youth-led approaches. 

• Lead the delivery of the weekly youth club, including wellbeing activities, workshops and targeted interventions for newly arrived young people.

We have recently been awarded a transformative multi-year grant from The National Lottery Community Fund  as part of its Health Inequities: Structural Racism and Discrimination Partnership. We are one of ten national partners working alongside The National Lottery Community Fund and will take a leading role in shaping how the partnership operates, including building evidence, influencing policy and practice, supporting the design of new national funding programmes, and facilitating collective learning across the partnership.​

Alongside this, the centrepiece of our participation will be the delivery of three Anti-Racism Collaboratives (ARCs), each based in a specific locality and rooted in communities experiencing the sharpest health inequities. The initial locations are Greater Manchester, the London Borough of Lambeth and the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham.. ARCs will bring together voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations (VCSE), faith organisations, people with lived experience, primary and secondary care providers, local authorities, public health and social care partners. Each ARC will convene a Co-Production Panel (CPP) of people from minoritised ethnic communities to identify where structural racism produces inequitable health outcomes, and to co-produce evidence-led solutions that improve health and tackle the wider determinants of health.​

We are recruiting two Changemakers, one each for Greater Manchester and for Barking & Dagenham. As a Changemaker, you will establish and support an ARC within one of our pilot localities, bringing together stakeholders, providing strategic advice and knowledge of research methods and policy opportunities. You will support the design and implementation of health intervention programmes decided on by the ARC that have the power to influence policy, practice and systems.

Working as part of a national team of Changemakers, you will also contribute to the Foundation's evidence, influencing and systems change work, connecting learning from your locality to national policy, while bringing national developments back into local action. Together, the team will develop a replicable model for tackling racial health inequities.​

What we're looking for

We’re looking for a Programme Officer to join our team to support and manage the delivery of our programmes. You’ll report to our Senior Programme Officer and work closely with our programmes team to coordinate and deliver high-quality employability programmes, manage volunteers, and support our young people. This role is an opportunity to add both delivery capacity and complementary expertise to our team as we grow.

In the role, you’ll be working on:

• Programme Management.
  • Once you’ve learned the ropes, you’ll move on to end-to-end management of programme delivery. This includes workshop development, supporting programme recruitment, operations and logistics, and working closely with volunteers and partners to ensure that programme delivery is impactful.
  • You’ll start by supporting existing programmes team members and, over time, take on responsibility for leading on cohorts, while supporting colleagues with delivery across our programmes.
  • You’ll need to be able to combine strong delivery with solid preparation behind the scenes, while thinking carefully about both participant experience and the operational detail needed to deliver high-quality programme activities.
  • You’ll also help collect and interpret data, reflect on feedback, and contribute to improving our programmes over time.
• Volunteer Management.
  • You’ll help recruit, onboard, and support our volunteers, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience for the assessors, mentors, and facilitators who work with us.
  • You’ll help create a positive and engaging volunteer experience by building strong relationships with our volunteers through regular check-ins, community touch-points, and thoughtful communication.
  • You’ll also support the coordination and administration involved in volunteer management, helping volunteers understand what’s needed and ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes.
• Stakeholder Engagement.
  • Your role will include stakeholder engagement at all levels, from scheduling volunteering days with corporate partners, to checking in with employer partners about how our young people are doing on their placements and supporting youth engagement and outreach.
• Support to Young People.
  • A large part of your role is to provide direct support to young people through regular 1:1 check-ins, taking the time to get to know them and their goals so that you can signpost tailored support, opportunities, and resources.
  • You’ll also use tools like email and Slack to keep young people informed, share opportunities and resources, and help build a sense of community throughout their time on the programme.
  • You don’t need previous experience of helping young people navigate the jobs market, as we can support you to build your knowledge and understanding of best practice.
• Facilitation.
  • You’ll design and deliver training for the young people on our programmes, as well as information sessions and training for our corporate partners and volunteers.
  • We’re looking for someone who is confident facilitating sessions, or motivated to continue developing their facilitation skills, with support from the team.

What we're looking for

We’re not necessarily looking for one particular professional background, and you don’t need to have a degree. However, we’d be especially interested in candidates who can bring relevant experience or strengths in areas that deepen our team’s existing offer, such as community outreach, volunteer management, programme management, or monitoring and evaluation.

This is not an entry-level role, and we are looking for someone who can bring some professional experience and apply sound judgement in a fast-moving environment.

  • Many of the young people we work with have experienced substantial barriers to work, education, or other areas of their lives. We’re looking for someone who can build trusting relationships with young people and who approaches others with empathy, warmth, and good judgement.

Technical Lead – Enterprise Technology & Service Operations

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Lead to join a high-profile organisation on an initial 6-month rolling contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technical leader to take ownership of a complex enterprise technology estate, ensuring operational excellence, resilience, security, and continuous improvement across business-critical systems.

Working closely with the Enterprise Architect, Head of Service Delivery, managed service providers, and senior business stakeholders, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between technology design and operational delivery, ensuring new solutions are successfully transitioned into BAU support and optimised throughout their lifecycle.

This is an exciting opportunity for a community engagement professional who wants to help tackle fuel poverty, reduce energy-related inequality and support a more inclusive, sustainable future.

As Outreach Officer, you will work with a diverse and supportive team to strengthen access to Selce’s energy advice services across Greenwich, Lewisham, Bromley and Bexley. You will plan, deliver and adapt outreach activity that engages voluntary sector organisations, frontline workers and residents who are in, or at risk of, fuel poverty. This will include workshops, pop-up events, community publicity and the development of strong referral networks across South East London

The Role:

· Work closely with the Energy Advice and Outreach teams to deliver a joined-up approach to community engagement.

· Plan, organise and deliver energy advice workshops, pop-up stalls, energy cafés and other community-based events.

· Build and maintain strong referral pathways with voluntary, community and public sector organisations, and train frontline workers to identify and refer residents who may benefit from Selce’s support.

· Develop positive partnerships with community centres, local organisations and other stakeholders to reach residents who are in, or at risk of, fuel poverty.

· Keep local organisations and residents informed about Selce’s services through newsletters, direct contact and community-level publicity.

· Maintain constructive relationships with funders, partners and key stakeholders, representing Selce professionally at public-facing events.

· Knowledge of domestic energy efficiency, fuel poverty, retrofit, community energy or related advice services.

· An energy advice qualification, such as NEA Level 3, or willingness to work towards relevant accreditation.

· Experience using CRM systems or similar tools to record referrals, monitor activity and support project reporting.

· Experience producing newsletters, social media content, flyers or other communications to promote services and engage communities.

· Experience coordinating volunteers, community champions or peer-led outreach activity.

About South East London Community Energy

South East London Community Energy (Selce) was founded in 2014 by people in Greenwich and Lewisham who wanted to help create a clean, fair and affordable energy future.

Over the past decade, we have developed projects that tackle inequality, reduce carbon emissions and support communities at different points in the energy system.

To date, we have built 12 solar arrays on community buildings in South East London and helped 11 buildings improve the efficiency of their lighting systems. We are also developing new share offers to support further lighting upgrades and solar installations on community buildings.

We have supported well over 4,000 households with their energy bills and are now helping homeowners make their homes more energy efficient through the Love Lofts and Future Fit Homes pilot programmes.

About Our Energy Advice Services

Almost one in ten households cannot afford to heat their homes adequately. Our energy advice team provides practical, impartial support to households struggling with fuel bills. This includes advice on reducing energy costs, accessing discounts and grants, changing energy use, fitting small energy-saving measures such as low-energy light bulbs and draught proofing, and securing funded home improvements such as loft or cavity wall insulation and heating upgrades.

Purpose of the Role

An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and skilled individual to lead the Mind in Bexley Carers Service.  The Carers Service supports those looking after, or affected by, an adult relative or friend’s mental health, alcohol, or substance use challenges.

The postholder will provide both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the effective delivery of the service in collaboration with key partners, including the London Borough of Bexley, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, and other relevant stakeholders.

The role is responsible for ensuring that carers receive high-quality, person-centred support, enabling them to lead fulfilling and valued lives, actively participate in their communities, and develop their abilities to their fullest potential.

About the role:

Every woman deserves to feel safe where she lives — especially at night.

Our Camden Women’s Complex Needs Services provide accommodation and support for women who have experienced homelessness, trauma, Violence Against Women and Girls, and multiple disadvantage. Many of the women we support have lived through unsafe relationships, instability, exclusion, and services that have not always felt safe, consistent or trustworthy. This role is about helping to change that.

As a Night Concierge, you will be a calm, steady and reassuring presence in the service overnight, helping to create an environment where women can rest, recover and feel secure in their accommodation. You will be the first point of contact during the night, responding to residents with warmth, respect and clear boundaries, while helping to maintain the safety, dignity and stability of the building.

Your night to night work will include managing access to the service, carrying out regular building checks, responding to incidents or emergencies, reporting repairs or safety concerns, and escalating risks where needed. You will also support women with immediate practical or wellbeing needs overnight, using active listening, de-escalation skills and a trauma-informed approach to respond calmly and proportionately when someone is distressed, anxious or in crisis.

This is not a full casework role, but your work will make a real difference to the women living in the service. The way you record concerns, share information and provide clear handovers will help the wider team respond to risk, maintain continuity of support and ensure women continue to feel safe, respected and held. You will also be joining SHP at an exciting time, with access to training, reflective practice and development opportunities to support your confidence, learning and longer term career progression.

We are ideally looking for one person who can work all three required nights (Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8pm-8:30am) but we would be open to considering a job share for the right candidates.

• You can work independently, use sound judgement and know when to act, monitor or escalate concerns, including safeguarding, health and safety, building security or welfare concerns.
• You are organised and reliable, with the written and IT skills needed to record incidents, resident contact, actions taken and handover information clearly, accurately and in line with confidentiality and data protection requirements.
