programme at a time of ambition and growth for the charity. Working as part of the 
corporate partnerships team, you will develop and deliver a focused approach to 
corporate fundraising, building long-term partnerships that generate sustainable income 
and create meaningful opportunities for companies and their employees to support our 
work.

This is a hands-on role combining new business development with the stewardship and 
growth of existing partnerships. You will identify and secure new opportunities, create 
compelling and tailored partnership propositions, and build strong relationships with 
corporate supporters at every stage of their journey with Momentum.

The role will suit a proactive and commercially aware relationship-builder who can think 
strategically, work independently and turn opportunities into action. You will work closely 
with colleagues across the charity to develop creative partnerships, deliver agreed activity 
and help corporate supporters understand the difference their support makes.

Every five minutes, someone, somewhere in the world is diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). For many, those words are followed by fear, uncertainty and unanswered questions. Too often, people leave appointments without knowing how nutrition, exercise, stress management and other evidence-based lifestyle changes can play an important role alongside medical treatment.

Job summary:
As our Philanthropy Manager, you'll lead our trusts and foundations fundraising while building meaningful relationships with major donors who share our vision. Working closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications, CEO and Trustees, you'll help build and grow our philanthropy programme, securing significant gifts and developing long-term partnerships that enable more people living with MS to access trusted information, evidence-based lifestyle guidance and a supportive community.

About you

You're an experienced relationship fundraiser with a successful track record in trusts and foundations and/or major donor fundraising.

You'll bring:

• A proven track record of securing significant five-figure gifts and grants, with experience developing or securing six-figure funding opportunities.

• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management experience.

Key responsibilities and duties:
The role comprises of the following key areas of responsibility:

Trusts and Foundations

• Lead and develop our trusts and foundations fundraising programme.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective charitable trusts and foundations.
• Research and identify new funding opportunities aligned to Overcoming MS' strategic priorities.
• Develop compelling funding applications, reports and proposals.
• Deliver excellent stewardship and timely reporting to existing funders.

Major Donors

• Develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective major donors.
• Work with the Director of Fundraising & Communications, CEO and Trustees to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward prospective philanthropists.
• Develop tailored cultivation and stewardship plans aligned to supporters' interests and motivations.
• Prepare personalised proposals, presentations and impact reports.
• Secure significant five-figure gifts while developing and progressing opportunities capable of generating transformational six-figure support.

Philanthropy development

• Research and identify opportunities to grow both restricted and unrestricted income.
• Develop compelling cases for support that communicate the impact and ambition of Overcoming MS.
• Collaborate with colleagues across fundraising, communications and services to translate our evidence, insight and organisational priorities into inspiring funding propositions.
• Contribute to philanthropy strategy, pipeline development, income forecasting and long-term fundraising growth.
• Maintain accurate fundraising records, prospect pipelines and reporting through our CRM system.
• Support donor cultivation events and opportunities to deepen supporter engagement.

Compliance and representation

• Act as an ambassador for Overcoming MS, building relationships that increase awareness and support for our work.
• Ensure fundraising activity complies with the Fundraising Regulator's Code of Fundraising Practice, GDPR and organisational policies.
• Keep up to date with fundraising best practice and sector developments.

About the team

The Philanthropy Team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team consists of 15 staff. Impetus has an annual income of c.£11 million which we are looking to grow significantly within the next few years. The team is led by two Directors of Philanthropy and Partnerships. 

The Philanthropy Team works with major donors, corporates and grant making trusts, as well as collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure we make a compelling case to generate new financial commitments and wider support for our work. The team also deliver a high-quality engagement programme of volunteering and pro bono for Impetus’s corporate supporters.   

Impetus is driven by a shared belief in tackling the barriers that hold back young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in education and employment. Alongside investing extensive financial and non-financial support in our charity partners through our Investment Team we also seek to influence decision makers to design and implement evidence led policy and direct new resources to get young people the support they need through our Public Affairs team. About this role

The Engagement Manager is an experienced professional who plays a key role in supporting donor engagement across all Impetus donors, enabling the team to provide best practice and high-quality donor stewardship and a platform for the renewal of key philanthropic gifts.

The Engagement function is responsible for pro bono and volunteering. Reporting to the Head of Engagement, the Engagement Manager is responsible for supporting the successful delivery and continuous improvement of the volunteering programme, ensuring it delivers high-quality opportunities, contributes to agreed KPIs and evolves in line with the needs of funders and the organisation. 

The postholder will account manage key relationships with mid-level supporters and internal stakeholders, working across teams to deliver meaningful and well-coordinated engagement opportunities. They will contribute to identifying and developing new opportunities for the volunteering and pro bono programmes that respond to funder interests and portfolio needs. 

In addition, they will manage relationships with mid-level pro bono supporters, taking them through the full pro bono journey from project matching and onboarding through to stewardship and ongoing support.

This is a cross-functional role that collaborates closely with the Investment team, wider Philanthropy team, Public Affairs team and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent and excellent donor experience.

Key responsibilities

Volunteering programme  

• Account manage relationships linked to volunteering across corporates, individuals and grant-making trusts, ensuring engagement is maintained and escalating strategic issues or risks where appropriate.
• Support or lead meetings, alongside fundraising account managers where appropriate, with funders to understand their volunteering interests and contribute to the development of suitable engagement opportunities.
• Support account managers in ensuring consistent donor engagement throughout annual giving cycles, including tracking, reporting, and communications.
• Contribute to the development of the volunteering function to ensure the programme offers a range of high-quality opportunities suitable for different funder types and aligned to organisational priorities.
• Identify and suggest new volunteering opportunities based on charity needs and funder interests, working with the Head of Engagement to ensure strategic alignment across the programme.
• Lead delivery of the mentoring programme within agreed plans and frameworks.
• Where necessary, support delivery of the volunteering programme (i.e workshops), ensuring it delivers high-quality engagement activities, contributes to agreed KPIs and continues to develop in response to organisational and funder needs.
• Build and manage effective working relationships across the Investment team, Philanthropy team and other stakeholders to ensure volunteering opportunities are well scoped, coordinated and delivered effectively.
• Work with the Head of Engagement to coordinate needs across the Engagement team, liaise closely with the Investment team and portfolio contacts, and plan and deliver a high-quality programme of volunteering opportunities.
• Ensure communications with donors and external partners are clear, timely, compelling and aligned with agreed messaging.
• Line manage the Engagement Officer, providing support, guidance and oversight to enable effective delivery. Where necessary, lead volunteering delivery sessions when cover is required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, including pipeline activity, reporting and key relationship updates.

Pro Bono programme 

• Support the identification, prospecting and conversion of new pro bono supporters, aligned with the needs of portfolio charities and Impetus, including attending meetings with prospective supporters.
• Manage relationships with mid-level pro bono funders, supporting delivery across the full engagement process from identifying suitable projects and matching opportunities through to onboarding, delivery and stewardship.
• Work with the Head of Engagement, internal teams and charity partners to scope projects and support matching pro bono funders to suitable opportunities.
• Support the onboarding and ongoing management of pro bono partners, ensuring clear communication and a high-quality supporter experience.
• Monitor the progress and quality of pro bono projects, gather feedback and identify improvements to strengthen delivery and impact.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, including pipeline activity, reporting and key relationship updates.

Other

• Support the development and implementation of efficient processes and systems within the Philanthropy team, with a focus on consistency and effectiveness.

• Experience of delivering or managing successful engagement, volunteering or fundraising activities, including tracking performance against objectives or KPIs.
• Familiarity with the fundraising landscape, including a good understanding of the corporate donor marketplace.
• Strong account management experience, including managing external partners or funders and building effective relationships across internal teams.

Role purpose:

To play a pivotal role in growing income from trusts, foundations and statutory funders by proactively identifying opportunities, cultivating high-value relationships and developing compelling funding proposals that align with Earthwatch's strategic priorities. This role will focus on raising funds from trusts and foundations, working closely with the Director to meet organisational funding targets. 

Key deliverables:

Relationship Development and Management:

• Identify and develop new funding opportunities and build relationships with trust, foundation and statutory funders at a senior level.
• Manage all aspects of the trusts and foundations fundraising cycle, including prospect research, application development, stewardship, retention and long-term funder engagement.
• Cultivate relationships with other charitable organisations to expand Earthwatch’s network of partners and collaborate on joint environmental initiatives.
• Maintain excellent stewardship of funders through regular communication, impact reporting and relationship management, supporting long-term engagement and repeat funding.
• Represent Earthwatch at donor and networking events.

Proposal Writing and Grant Applications:

• Lead the preparation of compelling funding proposals, tailored to meet the specific interests and priorities of potential funders.
• Ensure proposals are timely, impactful, and demonstrate clear outcomes.
• Work closely with the Finance team to develop accurate project budgets, ensuring all proposals are cost-effective and financially viable.
• Manage a portfolio of prospects and funding opportunities, contributing to agreed annual income targets.

Monitoring and Reporting

• Oversee the end-to-end grant management process, including timely submission of progress reports and financial narratives to ensure full compliance with donor requirements. 
• Maintain a comprehensive reporting process via the CRM, providing accurate income generation updates, dashboards, and pipeline forecasts. 

Collaboration and Team Support:

• Work closely with colleagues across the organisation, particularly the Income Generation, Programmes, Communications, and Finance teams, to ensure that funding proposals and reports are aligned with Earthwatch’s programs and objectives.

In undertaking these roles, the postholder should also have regard to:

• Acting as an ambassador for the work, vision and values of Earthwatch Europe.
• Ensuring continuous development of skills and knowledge required for the post, undergoing training and performance review as required.

The BARBARA Alliance (3-4 days/week, Hybrid (1 day per week in person)

The jobholder will provide high quality Project Management and Operational support to the leadership team and Board of Trustees. The role combines organisation, communication, meeting & stakeholder coordination, and digital/social media support to keep projects on time, on budget, and up to agreed quality standards.

The BARBARA Alliance is a public-private initiative engaged by HM Government agencies to develop and implement a delivery plan, through engagement of a broad range of stakeholders, for the Dame Barbara Windsor Dementia Goals Programme.

REPORTS TO

Head of Operations 

LOCATION

Hybrid, with 1-2 days per week in-person attendance in Central London office.

CONTRACT

Fixed term initially for 6 months, 3-4 days per week, hybrid (1 day per week in person) with potential for permanent appointment. subject to funding. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / MAIN DUTIES

Project Management, Planning & Governance

• Provide Project Management support for internal projects by maintaining documentation, tasks list and work progress trackers.
• Use project management tools to input, update, and archive project information.
• Help maintain risk and issue registers on behalf of the leadership team, highlighting and escalating issues where required.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and record-keeping requirements are met by in the preparation of documentation and reports.

Meetings, Events & Board Support

• Assist executive team with preparation for all Board meetings and Board Sub-Committees including management of Minutes and Action logs and Risk Register.
• Assist with the planning and delivery of internal events, workshops, and leadership sessions, by coordinating schedules, preparing agendas, managing logistics, and issuing invites.
• Capture meeting notes, actions, and decisions accurately, and provide clear follow-up information for leadership and project teams.

Communication & Reporting

• Support the preparation of reports, updates, and briefing papers by collating inputs, drafting content, and formatting to a high standard for leadership review.
• Assist with creating presentations, and analyses using Microsoft Office tools, ensuring leadership has professional and well-prepared materials.
• Help coordinate the flow of communication across project teams and stakeholders, ensuring updates are shared in a timely and consistent manner.
• Coordinate with the team to provide social media / digital communication support as needed: draft posts, maintain content calendar, monitor engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, Kanban, PRINCE2, or equivalents; practical experience using PM software (e.g. Asana, Monday, Trello, MS Project) or similar cloud based platforms.
• Relevant background in a project support, coordination, or assistant role where you have managed project workflows, tracked tasks and deliverables, ensured process compliance, maintained risk RAID logs and prepared accurate documentation and records.
• Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, multitask effectively, and manage deadlines in a dynamic, small team environment.
• Project finance and analytical capabilities, including experience with budgeting, managing project costs, preparing financial reports, and using data analysis to monitor project performance and identify risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of producing clear, accurate reports, meeting agendas, presentations, and supporting senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable with end-to-end meeting and event organisation, including scheduling, logistics, attendee management, meeting notes and minutes preparation (including using AI meeting notes tools), documentation, and actions follow-up.

Role Purpose

The Website & Communications Manager will lead iniva’s communications for a four-year fixed-term
project (3 days per week), with responsibilities evolving across the project — from setting up systems
and plans in Year 1 to delivering public activity, website redevelopment and legacy outputs in later
phases.

Focusing on Living Legacies, the postholder will lead communications activity to grow and diversify
audiences while maintaining strong engagement with existing audiences. They will manage a small
communications team, including the Communications Coordinator, and coordinate different
freelancers over the life of the project, such as a PR Consultant, Website Developer and Podcast
Producer to deliver clear, consistent and values-led communication across the organisation.
Working closely with a freelance Website Developer and internal teams, the postholder will oversee
the redevelopment of iniva’s website, ensuring it is accessible, user-friendly and supports the
project’s digital content and long-term needs. They will also work collaboratively with the Senior
Fundraising Manager, Project Manager and Project Curator to ensure joined-up, timely storytelling that
reflects the aims of the project and supports audience engagement.

Project Specific Duties

The duties below reflect the role across its four-year term. Activity in Years 1–2 will focus on
communications planning, audience development, team coordination and early digital work. Website
redevelopment (Years 2–3) and press activity for exhibitions (Years 3–4) will increase in later phases.

Communications Strategy, Planning and Audience Development

• To review, refine and deliver the Living Legacies Communications Plan in collaboration with the wider project team, ensuring alignment with audience development goals, legacy planning and funder expectations.
• To lead audience development activity for Living Legacies, balancing growth and diversification with the retention of iniva’s existing audiences.
• To ensure consistent application of iniva and Living Legacies brand, tone of voice and values across all communications outputs.

Website Redevelopment & Digital Experience

•  To oversee the creation, scheduling and publication of engaging digital content for Living Legacies, working with the Communications Coordinator across social media, email newsletters and website updates to raise awareness of the project, grow and engage existing and new audiences, and share stories, opportunities and project milestones.
• To commission and manage promotional materials, including digital and print assets, working with graphic designers, photographers, videographers and other freelance creatives to create compelling content that reflects the project's values and reaches diverse audiences.
•  To provide clear briefs, quality control and sign-off for commissioned content, ensuring outputs are on brand, accessible, high quality and delivered on schedule, and support meaningful engagement with participants, partners and audiences.

This role sits within the Partnerships Management Unit, the team responsible for delivering and growing WWF-UK’s portfolio of long-term strategic partnerships with organisations including Sky, HSBC, GSK, KPMG and Reckitt.

As Partnerships Executive, you’ll play a key role in helping partnerships deliver against WWF-UK’s strategic goals across income, influence, advocacy and engagement. You’ll support the day-to-day delivery of partnership activity, help build strong relationships with partners and colleagues across the WWF Network, and contribute to projects and experiences that create meaningful impact for nature.

This is a varied and collaborative role combining relationship management, project coordination, communications and operational support to the wider partnerships team. You may also have the opportunity to manage smaller partnerships directly or support a larger strategic partnership as part of a wider matrix team.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and relationship-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while bringing energy, attention to detail and a strong commitment to WWF’s mission.

Essential

· Experience supporting relationship management within a commercial, charity or partnership environment

Desirable

· Knowledge or interest in sustainability, climate or conservation issues

· Experience working within partnership, account management or stakeholder engagement environments

· Experience coordinating internal or external events and engagement activities

This role is hybrid with a minimum 40% of your contracted hours spent at our beautiful UK head office, the Living Planet Centre in Woking, Surrey, where you’ll hot desk among trees and gardens.

Purpose of the role

The Project Manager will lead the delivery of MindOut's National Lottery Heritage Fund project, Speaking Our Minds: MindOut 25+ Years and LGBTQ Mental Health, an innovative 18-month heritage programme documenting, preserving and sharing over 25 years of LGBTQ mental health history.

Working with LGBTQ communities, volunteers, staff, former service users, heritage partners and community organisations, the postholder will oversee all aspects of project planning, delivery, evaluation and legacy. This includes oral history collection, digital archiving, volunteer management, community engagement, public exhibitions and dissemination activities.

The Project Manager will ensure the project is delivered safely, ethically and inclusively whilst meeting all National Lottery Heritage Fund outcomes, budgets, milestones and reporting requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a significant LGBTQ heritage project that will create a lasting record of community resilience, mental health activism, peer support and social change.

Role description

You will bring the experience, confidence, organisational skills and values required to lead a complex community heritage programme involving lived experience storytelling, volunteer participation, community partnerships and public engagement.

Main Tasks

Project Management

· Manage the set up and delivery of a new Speaking Our Minds project in a medium-size charity.

· Develop and maintain detailed work plans, project timelines, budgets, risk management and ensure milestones and National Lottery Heritage Fund requirements are met.

· Provide regular progress reports in line with project timeline, budgets and outcomes for the Charity Director

· Ensure all project activity is delivered in accordance with MindOut's organisational policies.

Community Participation & Co-production

· Establish and facilitate a Community Advisory Group to guide project development and decision-making.

· Design and deliver co-production workshops, reflection sessions and community consultation activities centring values such as co-production, lived experience and trauma aware with diverse participation and inclusion.

Oral History & Heritage Collection

· Lead the collection of a minimum of 25 oral histories documenting LGBTQ mental health heritage.

· Ensure interviews are conducted ethically and in accordance with Oral History Society guidance and project protocols.

· Coordinate transcription, metadata creation, cataloguing and archive preparation.

· Oversee collection of photographs, documents, memorabilia and contextual materials that support interpretation of MindOut's history.

· Ensure safeguarding, consent and ethical storytelling principles are followed throughout the collection process.

Volunteer Recruitment & Management

· Recruit, train, supervise and support project volunteers.

· Develop clear volunteer roles and learning opportunities.

· Coordinate volunteer involvement in oral history, outreach, events and heritage activities.

· Ensure volunteers receive appropriate induction, support and supervision.

· Create an inclusive and positive volunteering experience that builds skills and confidence.

Heritage Preservation & Digital Archiving

· Work with Queer Heritage South, The Keep and other partners to ensure heritage materials are preserved to recognised standards.

· Oversee processes for cataloguing, digital storage and archival preparation.

· Ensure heritage materials are managed according to agreed metadata, accessibility and licensing requirements.

· Support the creation of sustainable heritage systems and organisational learning that continue beyond the project lifespan.

· Contribute to the development of MindOut's long-term heritage strategy and legacy planning.

Events, Exhibitions & Public Engagement

· Deliver a programme of public engagement activities and community events.

· Coordinate the development of exhibitions, digital outputs and learning resources.

· Work collaboratively with partners including Photoworks and heritage organisations.

· Support communications and promotional activity alongside the Communications Co-ordinator.

· Ensure all events are well planned, accessible and effectively evaluated.

Partnership Development

· Build and maintain strong relationships with heritage organisations, archives, universities, community groups and cultural partners.

· Act as the principal contact for external project partners and commissioned specialists.

· Represent MindOut at meetings, conferences and partnership events.

· Develop opportunities for future collaboration and sustainability beyond the funded project period.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

· Maintain project monitoring systems and data collection processes.

· Work with the external evaluator to assess outcomes and impact.

· Produce regular reports for the Charity Director, Trustees, Advisory Group and funders.

· Monitor budgets, risks and project performance.

· Ensure learning and evaluation are embedded throughout the project lifecycle.
