The role
This is a fixed-term parental leave cover post for 1 year. Location: Ideally London, however, we will accept applications from either Birmingham or Manchester as well. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office per week, and you must be prepared to travel regularly.

As Major Projects Lead – People, you'll sit at the heart of strategic growth, working alongside a dedicated People Partnering team, leading the people agenda for major bids, contract mobilisations and large-scale public sector opportunities. Working across senior stakeholders, you'll turn ambitious plans into practical workforce solutions, ensuring we're ready not just for day one of a contract, but for years beyond.
Working collaboratively with experienced People Partners, we're looking for someone who thrives in complex project environments, enjoys creating structure from ambiguity and can think several steps ahead. Alongside the People Partners, you'll be assessing workforce implications before contracts are won, building mobilisation plans when they are secured, and helping the organisation anticipate what happens when programmes evolve, expand or end in three to four years' time. Your work will directly influence organisational readiness, sustainable growth and the impact we deliver to young people across the UK.
