The Crisis & Resilience Fund Team Leader will lead the delivery of the Exeter Crisis & Resilience Service, providing operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred support to residents experiencing financial hardship, crisis and multiple disadvantage. The Fundraising and Marketing Assistant will play a pivotal part in advancing Off The Records (OTR) fundraising and marketing strategies. As OTR continues to grow, this position will be instrumental in expanding our online presence and ensuring we connect with a broad audience, including young people, families, professionals, and supporters of our mission. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who is both creative and analytical, skilled in producing compelling content and using data to amplify digital impact. This role would suit someone who ideally has previous charity experience, can take initiative, think proactively, and confidently manage projects independently – qualities that are especially important in our small, dedicated team.
You’ll work on a wide range of projects, creating engaging content that aligns with OTR’s brand and values across our website, social media, and email campaigns. This includes developing multimedia content (including graphics, videos and blogs) to promote our work and highlight our impact in the local community.
From a fundraising perspective, you will support our fundraising activities and ensure efficient administration using the ‘Donorfy’ database. This includes leading on the stewardship of donors and community fundraisers, managing our fundraising CRM database, and working on small and medium-sized trust and grant applications. You’ll also support digital campaigns and new initiatives, to encourage sustained support for our work. You’ll directly help to secure the financial support needed to expand OTR’s services and reach more beneficiaries. JOB PURPOSE

Email marketing

Operating at the second line of defence (L2), the role delivers independent oversight, guidance, and constructive challenge, strengthening risk management and compliance across the organisation. About The Role
From restoring nature and providing homes for wildlife to protecting communities from the devastating impact of flooding, wetlands are a powerful weapon in the fight against the climate crisis. And we’re looking for an experienced Media Manager who can secure impactful media coverage that tells the story of wetlands and inspires the public to take action to protect and restore them.
The Media Manager will have the opportunity to shape strategic media and PR activity across the organisation; engaging in the national conversation on wetlands, particularly in the context of the climate and nature crises. At a regional and local level, this role will support local Marketing teams to tell the stories of our 10 incredible wetland sites to their engaged membership and visitor base. This role is core to strengthening our reputation and building our profile as the UK’s wetland charity and making sure our messages reach diverse audiences.

You will have significant senior leadership experience and be skilled at collaborative working. Your ability to efficiently manage a complex and busy workload with conflicting priorities will enable you to work well under pressure and deliver to deadlines. You will have an in-depth knowledge of the charitable funding landscape, the public sector commissioning environment and a broad range of communications activities.
