An exciting opportunity for an Events Fundraising Assistant has arisen at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF).
WCRF is the UK's leading cancer prevention charity, focusing on the link between cancer and risk factors such as diet, body weight and physical activity. We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Events Fundraising Assistant to help deliver our growing programme of challenge events and community fundraising activities on a fixed-term contract to May 2027. Supporting the Events, Community and Digital Fundraising Manager, you will play an important role in delivering an excellent experience for our supporters from the moment they register through to event day and beyond. You'll help with participant communications, event administration, fundraising stewardship, supporter enquiries, logistics and event delivery, ensuring every supporter feels valued and inspired throughout their fundraising journey.

Experience of using Microsoft Office packages and CRM systems would be an advantage, while an interest in social media, digital marketing or challenge events would be welcomed.

It's a Tuesday afternoon in a school hall in Luton. Multiple Year 9s are sitting in a loose circle, arms crossed, faces doing that thing teenagers do when they've decided nothing is going to impress them. Twenty minutes later, one of them- a boy who hasn't said a word in class all term, according to his form tutor- is on his feet, mid-sentence, telling the room what he actually wants to do with his life. That shift has happened because his Yes Futures coach believed in him, and in turn he now believes in himself.
Who we are
Yes Futures is a youth coaching charity. We put professional coaches in front of young people who would otherwise never get that kind of one-to-one belief and challenge: leadership coaches, life coaches and executive coaches, the kind normally hired by boardrooms. Our flagship programme, Rising Futures, works in secondary schools, where teachers choose the students they believe will gain most from it. That looks different in every school. It might be a student whose confidence has dipped, or one who has never once put their hand up in class. What we give them is the same: someone whose whole job is to believe in them, and the tools to start believing in themselves.
The programme combines one-to-one coaching with experiential learning days: from pitching product ideas inside a real company on a World of Work day to raft building and rock climbing on an Into the Wild day; experiences many of our students would never otherwise get.

This is not term-time only. It runs across the full contract, not just school terms.
Role purpose
The Programme Delivery Coordinator will be the person on the ground making Rising Futures actuallyhappen: in the room with young people, out on the experiential days that take the programme beyond the classroom, alongside our coaches, and in the relationships with schools that keep everything running. You'll combine direct delivery with the coordination and follow-through that turns a good session into a programme that holds together over months.
There will also be ad hoc demands beyond the core programme- this is a role for someone comfortable with a bit of unpredictability, not a fixed routine.

Delivery
Deliver Rising Futures sessions and workshops directly in schools, working closely with students, educators and coaches
Act as the main point of contact for your assigned school cohorts, keeping communication sharp and things running smoothly

Save the Children UK has an exciting opportunity for an experienced safeguarding professional with a strong safeguarding casework and investigations background to join us as our Head of Investigations & Quality, where you will lead complex safeguarding casework, drive quality assurance, and strengthen safer practices across the UK and internationally.
This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract, starting in September 2026. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be available to commence employment in September 2026.

About the Role
As Head of Investigations & Quality (Safeguarding, Health, Safety & Security), you will lead Save the Children UK's safeguarding casework and investigations function, ensuring safeguarding concerns are managed to the highest standards and in line with organisational policies, regulatory requirements and sector best practice.
Bringing significant experience of safeguarding investigations and complex case management, you will oversee sensitive and high-risk safeguarding cases, provide quality assurance across safeguarding, health, safety and security incident management, and drive continuous improvement through learning, insight and organisational accountability. Working closely with senior leaders and safeguarding colleagues, you will help strengthen our safeguarding culture and ensure survivor-centred, trauma-informed approaches are embedded throughout our work.

Location & Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but at times you will be required to come to your contracted office (usually between 2–4 days per month, depending on the needs of your role, team, or service). For many roles, this is likely to be the minimum required to deliver impact.
The Safer Programming & Advocacy Team currently meets once per month at our office in Farringdon, but this will be discussed and agreed with your manager / team and we encourage candidates to discuss our ways of working in more detail at interview stage.

Two positions:
We have recently been awarded a transformative multi-year grant from The National Lottery Community Fund as part of its Health Inequities: Structural Racism and Discrimination Partnership. We are one of ten national partners working alongside The National Lottery Community Fund and will take a leading role in shaping how the partnership operates, including building evidence, influencing policy and practice, supporting the design of new national funding programmes, and facilitating collective learning across the partnership.
Alongside this, the centrepiece of our participation will be the delivery of three Anti-Racism Collaboratives (ARCs), each based in a specific locality and rooted in communities experiencing the sharpest health inequities. The initial locations are Greater Manchester, the London Borough of Lambeth and the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham.. ARCs will bring together voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations (VCSE), faith organisations, people with lived experience, primary and secondary care providers, local authorities, public health and social care partners. Each ARC will convene a Co-Production Panel (CPP) of people from minoritised ethnic communities to identify where structural racism produces inequitable health outcomes, and to co-produce evidence-led solutions that improve health and tackle the wider determinants of health.
We are recruiting two Changemakers, one each for Greater Manchester and for Barking & Dagenham. As a Changemaker, you will establish and support an ARC within one of our pilot localities, bringing together stakeholders, providing strategic advice and knowledge of research methods and policy opportunities. You will support the design and implementation of health intervention programmes decided on by the ARC that have the power to influence policy, practice and systems.
Working as part of a national team of Changemakers, you will also contribute to the Foundation's evidence, influencing and systems change work, connecting learning from your locality to national policy, while bringing national developments back into local action. Together, the team will develop a replicable model for tackling racial health inequities.
We are looking for an experienced systems change practitioner who is passionate about tackling structural racism and improving health equity. This highly collaborative leadership role requires someone equally comfortable working alongside people with lived experience, senior leaders across health and local government, and colleagues from the voluntary and community sector. Success will depend on your ability to build trusted partnerships, work strategically in complex environments, translate evidence into action, and create the conditions for lasting systems change.
Person Specification
Essential
Demonstrable experience of leading complex, multi-agency change involving communities, VCSE organisations and statutory partners.
Strong understanding of how systemic racism operates within health and wider public systems
Experience of identifying opportunities to redesign policy, commissioning, organisational practice or partnerships to reduce racial inequities.

About the role
It is an exciting time to join the British Museum. You are an experienced major gifts fundraiser with a track record of securing five- and six-figure donations and managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations and their advisors.
