We are seeking a Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager to join us in a pivotal role in our Business Development Team. This is a new role for our charity that will make a significant contribution to delivery of our high quality services to children and young people, providing them with opportunities and inspiration to enable them to create a positive future for themselves and open doors to their success.
If you are self-motivated, enthusiastic and confident, with experience and a proven track record in successfully securing, managing and developing long term, five figure levels and above partnerships from initial prospect research through to contracting and ongoing management, then this role is for you. Working alongside our Director of Business Development and Partnerships, you will pro-actively manage business development activity, steward partnerships and raise funds for Inspire from a range of sources including corporate partnerships, community fundraising, trusts and foundations.
Key responsibilities of the role include:

Identifying and securing new business development opportunities in the corporate, trust and foundations sectors that align with our mission and objectives.

Developing and maintaining a pipeline of prospects for new business opportunities, targeting five-figure level and above partnerships to deliver high-value, long-term partnerships and achieve financial targets and KPIs.

Supporting creation and submission of funding applications to corporates, statutory bodies, trusts and foundations.

Management and growth of Inspire's entry to mid-level corporate partnerships.

Collaborate with colleagues to scale up existing, funded programmes and develop creative, dynamic and winning proposals.

Supporting marketing and communications to promote Inspire and its programmes including development of marketing and social media materials.

Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service (LSLCS) exists to provide compassionate, person-centred, trauma-informed crisis support to people across Leeds and West Yorkshire. Founded in 1999 by individuals with lived experience of mental health crisis, the organisation has grown to deliver a range of services for adults, children and young people while remaining rooted in survivor leadership and empowerment. LSLCS has a long history of innovation and excellence; receiving multiple national awards.
The CEO holds overarching responsibility for the current service provisions, with the support of operational directors and service managers. LSLCS challenges and shapes current practices; aligned with the needs of those accessing crisis services, with a strong emphasis on gaining and reviewing service user and team feedback to inform decision-making. The CEO must be able to review feedback openly, regularly and with genuine curiosity in shaping the future of the organisation.

Overall Purpose
The Fundraising Lead will both raise money to support the sustainability of NHS Charities Together and contribute to supporting NHS Charities to increase their income.
The role oversees the day to day operations of both our fundraising activity and our practical support to members.
Overall Objectives
- Lead the strategic development of a simplified individual giving programme focused on donor retention, stewardship, and legacy conversion.
- Oversee the creation and rollout of scalable, white-label fundraising products or campaigns that enable member charities to increase income and deepen supporter engagement.
- Oversee and support the development and stewardship of corporate relationships to deliver partnerships in support of our mission.
- Guide and empower a skilled team to deliver donor-centric fundraising with excellence and empathy.
- Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant, data-informed, and aligned with NHS Charities Together’s values and strategic priorities, ensuring it complements and doesn’t compete with our members.

Key Responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities of the role holder are as outlined below:
NHS Charities Together Fundraising Strategy
- Oversee the shaping of and support the Stewardship Manager on the delivery of a simplified, effective individual giving programme aligned with NHS Charities Together’s strategic priorities, with a focus on the retention and upgrade of existing donors and avoiding competing with our members.
- Ensure individual donors are regularly engaged and asked for appropriate cash gifts through a light-touch programme.
- Ensure that legacy messaging is prominent in the donor engagement cycle, to inspire existing donors to consider long-term support, aligned with their gratitude to the NHS, with appropriate pathways offered.
- Oversee prompt, accurate, and heartfelt thanking processes for all donations.
- Manage the welcome journey for unsolicited donations, and oversee the cost-effective management of existing commitments for community or events-based activity to ensure a return
- Lead stewardship for donors giving up to £25,000.
- Oversee and support the Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager to manage the relationships with selected key corporate relationships, identifying opportunities for partnerships and liaising closely with NHS Charities Together colleagues to support the development of fundable propositions which benefit our sector and our own organisation.
Sector Fundraising Support
- Champion sector-wide change by equipping member charities with scalable, plug-and-play fundraising products and strategic guidance that enhances their income generation capacity through individual giving, working closely with the engagement team.
- Oversee the development of support the Products Manager on the rollout of replicable or white-label fundraising products, starting with the roll-out of a lottery and legacy product, and on the development of campaigns (e.g. focused on grateful patients).
- Oversee and drive the thinking on future fundraising products that will appeal to and benefit our diverse group of member charities.
- Work closely with the engagement team and other NHS Charites together staff to tailor activity in line with segmentation and engagement strategies.
- Build trusted relationships with member charities, positioning yourself as a knowledgeable and empathetic fundraising expert.
- Contribute to supporting NHS Charities to raise their income, providing advice and guidance 1:1 and through supporting the delivery of member events. Where required support the delivery of paid for consulting support to NHS charities on fundraising.
Team Leadership & Compliance
- Lead and motivate the team, providing effective direction in their activities to ensure individual and team objectives are achieved.
- Deliver the new NHS Charities Together fundraising programme on budget and on target, and ensure appropriate reporting is delivered to support our governance.
- Directly line manage the Stewardship Manager, Products Manager and Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager
- Ensure excellent use of the CRM for donor engagement, reporting, and data management, and ensure the development of efficient systems and process that maximise donor income and satisfaction.
- Ensure all fundraising activity complies with relevant legislation, including GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
- Contribute to a culture of strategic philanthropy across the organisation.

For 50 years, Kidney Care UK has been at the forefront of supporting people with kidney disease. From our early days when we campaigned to introduce donor cards in the UK, we have worked hard to support and represent the interests of everyone affected by this lifelong condition. We continue to provide practical, emotional, and financial support for individuals and their families, while also working with healthcare professionals to improve care services and campaign for change.
Kidney disease can affect anyone and there is no cure. We are here for the young and the old, for those struggling to make ends meet, for families and loved ones. We fight tirelessly, giving our total support, to improve the lives of kidney patients and their families.
We’ve grown significantly over the past five years. But this is just the start – we want to grow our income significantly in the next three years. We have to – there are so many people who need us.
We’ve been making quite a splash recently – our ‘Cost of Staying Alive Report’ made the front cover of The Guardian last year, and the follow up ‘Left Out in the Cold’ report was recently featured on Sky News and in The Evening Standard. Our ‘Priced Out of Existence’ campaign was shown on the BBC 6 o’clock and 10 o’clock News and referenced by media across the UK. Our #BloodyAmazingKidneys campaign has reached more than 6 million people and 294,000 of those have taken our digital kidney health checker.
We’re building partnerships with leading companies across the UK, raising the profile of kidney disease and working with them to make sure that their customer service teams understand the needs of kidney patients throughout the country, working with them to make sure that kidney patients are top priority for their vulnerable customer teams. We’re working with global pharmaceutical companies developing world class patient information and advice. And we want to identify more companies in different sectors who are passionate about supporting people with kidney disease, which is why we are expanding our Corporate Partnerships team.
The charity is set to build on this success and aims to continue this growth, so that we can reach more kidney patients and their families, providing critical support at a time when it is needed now more than ever.
About the role
The Corporate Partnerships Officer will play a key role in this growth, managing and securing new corporate partnerships with support from the Corporate Partnerships Manager. Our corporate partnership income has grown from zero in 2020 to c£2.3 million in 2025. It is a very exciting time to be joining the charity and our Fundraising team.
Primarily, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of corporate partnerships, growing strong relationships, delivering partnership activities, and proactively securing new corporate partnerships, including charity of the year relationships. You'll further support the Corporate Partnership Manager and Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications as needed with key activities within larger partnerships, developing a well rounded understanding of how Kidney Care UK works in partnership.
You will also work closely with the Events, Marketing & Communications teams to promote and support all opportunities to drive corporate income growth ensuring strong collaboration.
Key duties will include;
- Managing relationships with key contacts,
- Delivering partnership activities such as renal unit visits or training presentations to key staff,
- Delivering informative annual reports,
- Proactively secure and onboard new partnerships within your target area.
You will do this by stewarding the significant number of existing relationships and partnerships we already hold and maximising any opportunities that exist. Alongside this, you'll be working with the Corporate Partnership Manager to manage a personal goal of generating new partnerships through proactive engagement to and through our supporters, beneficiaries, networks, and contacts.
The right candidate will have a proven record of building strong and rewarding relationships, and confidence in managing and building these relationships autonomously. You will be a driven and enthusiastic fundraiser with experience of cultivating new relationships across a range of businesses and sectors and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.

As Assistant Director of Philanthropy & Strategic Partnerships, you will help shape the future of our national work and support our federation of 170+ local Home-Starts working in communities across the UK. You will lead a talented team, build long-lasting relationships, and help make sure Home-Start has the funding, partnerships, and influence it needs to give every child the best possible start in life. This role will suit someone who is motivated by purpose, who values people and relationships, and who is comfortable working across a large and varied network.
We are looking for someone with a strong track record, someone who has already delivered high-value fundraising and partnerships at a senior level and is ready to take on a role with significant national influence. With responsibility for an annual income portfolio of circa £4 Million – with strong potential to grow this over the next 3-5 years to between £6Million-£8Million plus, you will work with a supportive Leadership Team and Board, who have already engaged external philanthropy expertise to develop a strategy and roadmap that you can build on. You’ll need to be confident working with high-value supporters: able to build trust, communicate clearly, and nurture long-term relationships with people who want to invest in families and early years support. You’ll bring the skills and confidence to grow a portfolio that is already strong and take it further, along with the ability to work well with others in a fast-moving environment.

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and creative Fundraising & Social Media Co-ordinator to support income generation and raise the profile of the charity through engaging digital content and coordinated fundraising activity.
This is a part-time role (15 hours per week), ideal for someone looking to build or expand their charity fundraising and communications experience. There is clear scope for the role to increase to 22.5 hours per week as fundraising income and capacity grow.

This great charity provides front-line advice, advocacy and campaigning and policy work on behalf of people in London beneath pension age, who are experiencing issues around benefit payments, disability and housing or who are at risk of homelessness. The role:
As Director of Policy & Engagement, you will lead the organisation’s policy, public affairs, and campaigns function, shaping and delivering local and national influencing to drive change on social security and housing issues. You will ensure the voices of people with lived experience are central to all of the organisation’s work, embedding meaningful participation across the organisation, in governance, services, policy and campaigns.
You will also oversee strategic external communications to support the organisation’s influencing, brand and fundraising objectives and will direct all fundraising for your department including managing funder relationships, identifying opportunities and leading on bid writing and reporting.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for influencing policy and practice locally and nationally and representing the charity as a spokesperson in the media, with government ministers, MPs, and other senior stakeholders.
You will manage a small multidisciplinary team of four, ensuring integrated effective delivery across the organisation.

The person:
The successful candidate will be a strategic, politically astute leader with experience of leading policy, public affairs and campaigns at a senior level. They will have experience of integrating research campaigns, participation, external communications and fundraising to deliver impact locally and nationally. They will have excellent media stakeholder and political engagement skills, with experience of acting as a spokesperson for an organisation. This person will value and embed lived experience in all aspects of their work and will have a strong understanding of social security and housing policy.
This person will also have substantial experience of leading on research for social policy influencing purposes in addition to having developed and shaped policy for an organisation in a charity which works towards combatting poverty and other social justice issues. Having managed political and media engagement and external influencing activities in the past, this person will be an effective relationship manager both internally and externally, in addition to having provided knowledge based leadership to small teams in the charity sector. In addition to being a highly effective project manager, this person will be a very strong communicator both verbally and in writing, and will be fully committed to the aims and objectives of this anti-poverty charity.
