Job description

The Seafarers’ Charity is the leader in maritime welfare grant-making. For over 100 years we have led the way in supporting those who work at sea.

We are looking for an Individual Giving and Legacy Lead who will play a key role in building meaningful, long-term relationships with supporters, helping them feel connected to The Seafarers' Charity's mission and the difference their generosity makes to seafarers and their families.

Through thoughtful engagement, excellent stewardship and a deep understanding of supporter motivations, the role will develop meaningful supporter journeys across individual giving, legacy giving, in-memory giving and other supporter-led income streams. By creating positive experiences that foster trust, loyalty and advocacy, the postholder will strengthen long-term support for the charity and contribute to sustainable income growth.
