This role is key to our new partnership programme influencing practice and policy on climate resilience and emergency preparedness at local and national levels. We are currently recruiting for an ambitious and proactive Fundraising Manager. Reporting to the PBI UK Director, the Fundraising Manager is a permanent, full-time position. You will take the lead on PBI UK's fundraising strategy, managing a portfolio of low to mid-level trusts, foundations, and individual donor relationships, while supporting the Director and wider team on the engagement and stewardship of high-level partnerships. Day-to-day, the role spans grant writing, donor reporting, prospect research, donor stewardship, campaign management — including biannual match-funding campaigns — and keeping the fundraising pipeline and contact management systems up to date.

You'll also represent PBI UK in the organisation's international Fundraising Working Group and deliver a high-quality supporter experience through online communications and fundraising events, making this a varied and impactful role at the heart of an organisation dedicated to protecting human rights defenders at risk.

Freshwater Habitats Trust is the UK’s leading charity for all freshwaters. We are an evidence-led conservation organisation working to protect freshwater wildlife through practical, innovative and scientifically robust conservation projects across the UK and Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Freshwater Habitats Trust’s New Forest team, delivering practical, landscape‑scale freshwater conservation projects across the National Park.

The role will focus on identifying, developing and delivering habitat creation and restoration projects to improve freshwater biodiversity at a catchment scale. This will include undertaking catchment walkover surveys to identify issues and opportunities, and working closely with landowners, technical specialists and a wide range of stakeholders to design and implement effective interventions—including habitat creation, restoration and nutrient management.

The postholder will lead on developing project work plans, securing necessary consents and licences, and managing contractors through delivery. Alongside this, the role will involve full project and financial management responsibilities, including budget oversight, reporting against targets, and liaising with funders.

Strong stakeholder engagement is key, with the role also representing the Trust at meetings and contributing to partnerships across the New Forest. This is a varied role combining practical conservation delivery with project leadership, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on freshwater environments.

In 2020, Royal National Children’s Springboard Foundation (RNCSF) was appointed as delivery partner for the DfE’s Broadening Educational Pathways (BEP) scheme. The scheme’s ambition is to secure independent day and boarding school bursary placements and access to partnership activities for care experienced children. Since its launch more than 300 children in and on the ‘edge of’ care (“Care Experienced & Vulnerable Children – CEVC”) have been supported to thrive within over a hundred participating schools. Partnerships have been established with more than 80 local authorities.

We are looking for a Regional Coordinator on a fixed term contract of two years to work 0.5 FTE, 39 weeks per year, working out of Christ’s Hospital School.  As regional coordinator you will need to combine excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement with strong organisational skills to ensure operational management. You will work with Local  Authorities and schools in the SE division of HMC to support care experienced and vulnerable children to access bursary support at independent day and boardign schools. 

Reporting directly to RNCSF’s Senior Programme Manager (CEVC), you will work collaboratively with other Regional Coordinators and the charity’s core team to support effective operational delivery, accurate data management and smooth programme administration.

Planning & Integration Manager - 12-month FTC

As the UK's largest community funder, we will distribute over £4 billion by 2030 to projects that strengthen society and improve lives. Our UK-wide Communications & Engagement Team is at the heart of telling that story, and we're looking for an exceptional Planning and Integration Manager to join us on a 12-month maternity cover basis.

Skills & Requirements

You'll bring a strong track record in planning and delivering integrated communications activities in a complex organisation, with proven experience in operational planning, resource management and building effective planning frameworks across multiple teams. You'll be confident using data and analytics to drive operational improvements, and skilled at working across and between teams in a matrix environment.

Experience in people management is essential, as is the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels. A background in communications or marketing agency planning would be an advantage, as would familiarity with the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.

We have a hybrid approach to working. Work pattern and location will be agreed with the successful candidate. The role can be based at any of our UK offices: Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle, and Newtown. Experience

Join Isabel Hospice as our Individual Giving Retention Officer and help ensure our donors feel valued, connected and inspired to continue supporting compassionate hospice care across eastern Hertfordshire.

About the role

As Individual Giving Retention Officer, you’ll play an important role in helping Isabel Hospice grow sustainable income by strengthening the relationships we have with our individual supporters.

Working closely with the Individual Giving Manager, you’ll support the delivery of engaging supporter journeys across post, email, phone and in-person communications. You’ll help ensure donors receive timely, meaningful thank yous, impact updates and stewardship that show just how much their support matters.

This is a part-time role with a clear focus on activity that makes the greatest difference to supporter retention, repeat giving and long-term engagement. From helping to re-engage donors, to supporting regular giving growth and using insight to improve communications, your work will help local people feel closer to the care they make possible.

You’ll also use CRM data to segment audiences, track supporter behaviour and help develop communications that are personal, relevant and effective. BD Giving is looking for a Communications Coordinator, with a focus on digital comms, who is creative, has a sense of curiosity, can take the initiative, and work to tight deadlines.  You will be working with the team to ensure people know about BD Giving and what we do, using digital comms and social media to tell our story, and spotlight our programmes, opportunities and events.

We are a small, creative and highly passionate team with the ambition to revolutionise the way funding works. 

We have a superb office space and regularly deliver programmes across the borough. Our core hours are 10:00am – 3:00pm . Due to the nature of community work, some evenings and weekends are required but you will have sufficient notice. At work we show up and go the extra mile, but we also operate on a four-day workweek, so there will be an extra day to your weekend to recharge.

Job Description 

We are seeking someone with a curious approach - to ask the right kind of questions to help us tell our story so local communities can better understand what we do and get involved. You will work within the Programmes team to collaborate on how we can bring all of our programmes to life so we’re continuing to reach new audiences and to strengthen relationships with the local social sector. 

What experience is needed?

• Experience of creating content and delivering communications across multiple channels
• Experience of social media platforms (especially Meta, LinkedIn, and Tiktok) and how to plan and schedule brand content
• We are particularly interested in candidates from Barking and Dagenham and global majority backgrounds

The kind of person we're looking to work with

• Knowledge of current best practice in social media and digital communications
• IT and digital skills, including knowledge of Slack, Canva, AI and the willingness to learn new digital skills. Also an interest in video editing, photography, and basic design work. 
• Ability to listen, ask clarifying questions and translate information into clear communications.
• Some understanding of evaluation methodology and data analytics for digital communications including social media platforms
• Understanding of delivering brand compliant communications
• Excellent organisational skills – able to manage time, schedule communications plan, prioritise tasks, and keep track of detail
• Curiosity – interested in how things work and open to exploring new systems or ways of doing things
• A helpful, proactive attitude – ready to pitch in and take initiative where appropriate and a willingness to learn and take feedback on board
