The role:

As a Trainee Energy Advisor, you will help householders access the support available to them. You will work directly with clients, giving clear, practical advice to help them to make informed choices.

This is a varied role combining client support with accurate case management. You will keep clear records and contribute to a service that makes a real difference to households.

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• Monitor the advice line and/or other telephone advice projects making and receiving calls from people who may need help with energy related issues.
• Accurately record client details and use your knowledge to assess help and support needed.
• Identify energy improvements that can be made to clients’ properties and refer to installers who can fit them.
• Listen attentively to callers and respond to their needs in an empathetic way during difficult conversations.

We are looking for new sessional workers to join our Young Carers team. Our sessional workers play a key role in supporting the delivery of a programme of activities designed for our young carers aged 5 to 15 and the delivery of monthly peer support groups and activities for young adult carers aged 16 to 21.

Carers’ Hub plays a vital role in Lambeth, supporting unpaid carers across the borough with 1-1 and peer support, signposting, monthly forums, training, workshops and social activities. Our young carers team works with children from the age of 5 upwards, offering support and information to young carers and their families. About the Role

As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
• Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
• Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
• Keep accurate & confidential case records on a bespoke case management system
• Make calls to offer support to victims of domestic abuse, delivering immediate support.
• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support
• Liaise and actively engage with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer
• Work as part of a team with staff and the volunteer team to provide a seamless service to clients

About You

You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

You will need:

• Strong written & verbal communication skills.

Main Purpose: To provide full-time support to learners within the Building Independence (BI) pathway at The Autism Project (TAP).

The role focuses on enabling learners to develop independence, communication, life skills, and confidence, supporting them to access the curriculum and participate in community-based learning. You will work closely with teaching staff to ensure learners make meaningful progress towards their EHCP outcomes and personal goals.

Information:

Permanent part-time role. Working days are Tues to Fri 9-4pm (6.5hrs a day, allowing half hour unpaid for lunch). 26 hours a week.

Salary is £28,860 per annum (full time 37.5hrs) pro-rata. This is £14.80 per hour (London Living Wage).

Holiday allowance is 37 days per annum plus bank holidays pro-rata.

Holiday can only be taken outside of TAP term times.

Main Purpose: To provide integrated classroom and employment support to learners on The Autism Project (TAP), enabling them to develop independence, employability skills, and readiness for adulthood. We are looking for an addition employability co-ordinator to join the team. This is an important role within the CSA Centre, to help develop, understand and embed evidence-informed improvements in the response to child sexual abuse.

About the role:

The CSA Centre aims to inform and improve policy and practice at local and national levels by identifying, generating and sharing high quality evidence on what works to prevent and tackle child sexual abuse, and our extensive research, evaluation and monitoring activity is central to that mission.

As a Research Assistant, you will support a wide range of research and evaluation activities, working closely with the wider Research and Evaluation Team and other colleagues across the CSA Centre.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their research career in a supportive, meaningful and impactful environment. You will contribute to projects that improve the understanding of the scale and nature of child sexual abuse and strengthen the evidence base on effective responses.

We are the Centre of expertise on child sexual abuse (CSA Centre). Our aim is to reduce the impact of child sexual abuse through improved prevention and better response. To tackle child sexual abuse we must better understand its causes, scope, scale and impact.

Established since 2017, we are a multi-disciplinary team that is primarily funded by the Home Office, hosted by Barnardo's and we work closely with key partners from academic institutions, local authorities, health, education, police and the voluntary sector. About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and motivated Mental Health Support Workers to join our services across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred and trauma-informed support to people with mental health needs, helping them to build independence, develop coping strategies and achieve their personal recovery goals.

You will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver safe, effective, and recovery-focused care that promotes wellbeing, inclusion, and choice. 

Some services support individuals with complex mental health needs in 24-hour settings, where you will provide direct support, including 1:1 support where required, and help individuals manage daily challenges and emotional wellbeing.

Note: The role includes some evenings, weekends, and lone working, so confidence, initiative, and self-motivation are essential.

• Deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support tailored to individual needs

• Assist with daily living skills including self-care, budgeting, and maintaining a home
• Encourage and support meaningful relationships and social inclusion within the community

• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and other professionals

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Experience working in mental health services, including complex needs
• Experience supporting individuals who may present with behaviours that challenge
• Knowledge of approaches such as PBM or similar behaviour support methods
• Experience supporting individuals with EUPD or dual diagnosis
• Experience within a mental health hospital or similar setting

A 24-hour residential service supporting adults within a 10-bed unit. We provide a safe, structured, and person-centred environment, helping individuals build skills, manage their mental health, and move towards independent living. 

Chestnut Road
Supporting individuals in shared accommodation or their own flats, this service focuses on recovery, independence, and preparing people to move on, using a highly person-centred and creative approach. 

Charnhill Crescent & Kingsway
Two small services supporting five adults, delivering tailored support to empower people to live independently and achieve their goals. 

London Road

A 24-hour service supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, including those who may require 1:1 support. The service focuses on providing structured, person-centred support to help individuals manage their mental health, build independence, and maintain wellbeing within a safe and supportive environment

As a proactive and innovative Project Manager for Professional Development, you will support our CPD team. This new role is pivotal in ensuring effective systems management and record keeping, stakeholder engagement and relationships across various educational projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the management of a large, growing and innovative Schools CPD programme, in person and online
• Manage administrative tasks including documentation, scheduling, and reporting for CPD programmes
• Using tools such as Canva, Microsoft Office suite, MailChimp and WordPress to create and disseminate high-quality educational resources and communications in line with HEP brand guidelines
• Produce content to market and sell our professional development programme to schools in and beyond our membership
• Support all customers, members and non-members, to access the HEP offer
• Develop and nurture strong stakeholder relationships with schools, educators, CPD trainers, local authorities and other partners
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational innovation, policies, regulations and political landscape affecting schools and the education sector to inform the next steps for CPD
• Collaborate closely with the wider HEP team to deliver strategic goals of HEP
• Work independently and efficiently under pressure, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld

Qualifications and skills:

• Educated to at least degree level(or equivalent experience) 
• Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail

• Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office and basic website management tools
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
