As Service Delivery Officer: Wellbeing, you will play a key role in supporting working and retired musicians facing health, wellbeing, or financial difficulties. You will deliver structured, person-centred casework, helping musicians navigate complex situations and access the most appropriate support aligned to their individual goals.

The role focusses on understanding each musician’s circumstances, carrying out needs and outcomes assessments, and coordinating tailored packages of support. This includes managing wellbeing grants, facilitating referrals and signposting to specialist providers where required. 

Working within the charity’s eligibility and case management guidelines, you will contribute to ensuring that Help Musicians’ resources are used responsibly, consistently and with maximum impact.

Bedford Foodbank is an independent charity operating as a member of the Trussell Trust network of foodbanks. We employ 2 paid full time and 5 part time staff and are supported by 120 volunteers each week. About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing, experienced, and self-directed compliance professional to provide maternity cover within the Grants, Contracts & Compliance (GCC) department.

This role requires someone who operates with excellence, independence, and sound judgement from day one—a person who is confident navigating complex donor rules, shaping risk‑mitigation strategies, and leading award management processes without needing extensive onboarding. We are seeking an experienced practitioner with proven applied experience, rather than a purely theoretical background.

You will oversee the full lifecycle of European donor‑funded awards, ensuring rigorous contractual and regulatory compliance across Internews. Working closely with colleagues across Programmes, Finance, and Global Development, you will help maintain a culture where doing things right is prioritised over shortcuts.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise with major European donors (European Commission, Sida, FCDO), a proactive mindset, and the ability to lead, train, and influence teams across the organisation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, with other duties upon request: 

Compliance

· Review and approve proposal budgets for assigned funding opportunities.

· Review donor agreements and ensure terms are acceptable; support the Director of GCC in strengthening organisational risk‑mitigation practices.

· Advise staff on Internews’ internal and donor rules across the project cycle.

· Work with Programme Officers and cross-functional teams on effective project start‑up, including inductions, adapting award procedures/templates, and ongoing staff training; conduct country visits when required.

· Collaborate with Finance to support successful programme audits.

· Maintain and update organisational data on institutional donor platforms (e.g., EU Transparency Register, IATI).

· Develop and maintain training materials and guidelines for at least one major donor; provide expert compliance guidance across GCC.

· Deliver inductions and training for new and junior GCC staff.

· Set up and maintain complete and up‑to‑date award records in line with donor and Internews requirements.

Development

· At proposal stage, review and approve teaming agreements and NDAs with bid partners.

· Review and approve donor budget submissions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, compliance, and adequacy.

· Coordinate pre‑award due diligence for prospective donors.

· Review and negotiate donor agreements and modifications, managing associated risks.

· Establish and maintain proposal, award, and contract records within the award management system, including significant data entry.

Procurement Management

· Advise staff on procurement requirements and maintain internal records for procurements under awards.

· Support development of compliant procurement plans.

· Lead and administer higher‑value procurements, including negotiating contractor terms.

· Draft and execute sub‑contracts and amendments in full compliance with donor and Internews policies.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a part time governance and compliance officer to oversee our governance and risk framework as a non-profit regulated by the Charities Commission (England and Wales) and OSCR (Scotland).

You will identify, develop, maintain and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and risk mitigation with the various regulations that we must adhere to such as Charities Commission, OSCR, Fundraising Regulator, Companies House, UK Data Protection and Safeguarding.

NCTJ is financially stable and widely respected within the industry. However, diversifying and growing charitable income is a strategic priority for 2026–27. We have developed our first fundraising strategy to support sustainable growth and impact, and this role is central to delivering it.

Purpose of the role

This is a specialist role focused on securing and stewarding funding from trusts and foundations and developing a pipeline of major donors and high net worth supporters, underpinned by exceptional proposal writing and strong relationship management.

Corporate partnerships are led primarily by the head of business development. This role will support corporate fundraising through proposal/case development and stewardship where needed, but the primary focus is securing charitable grants and major donors.

Key responsibilities

1) Trusts and foundations fundraising

• Build and manage a strong pipeline of UK trust and foundation prospects that advance NCTJ’s charitable priorities (including diversity, community reporting, and training for a fast-changing media industry).
• Develop and maintain a grants calendar and tracking system, including deadlines, funder preferences, decision timelines, and reporting requirements.
• Write and submit high-quality, tailored grant applications and expressions of interest, working to agreed targets and timescales.
• Develop a suite of core fundraising materials (case for support, programme proposals, budgets, outcomes and evaluation narrative, boilerplate and templates) to increase quality and consistency across submissions.
• Confidently communicate the NCTJ’s purpose and impact through presentations, reports, and digital content and represent the NCTJ at meetings and events, both virtually and in person.
• Build and maintain strong funder relationships, ensuring excellent stewardship, timely reporting and opportunities for renewal and uplift.

2) Major donor / high net worth giving

• Work with the senior team to identify major donor prospects through networks and sector connections.
• Undertake proportionate prospect research and build a high-quality cultivation pipeline.
• Create tailored donor proposals and impact statements that support donor interests while advancing NCTJ priorities.
• Support cultivation meetings with briefs, materials, follow-up and stewardship plans, tracking all activity in CRM.

3) Impact, storytelling and stewardship

• Work closely with programme and communications colleagues to gather impact data, case studies and beneficiary stories to strengthen proposals and reporting.
• Develop and deliver a clear plan for thanking trusts and major donors, keeping them updated on impact, and staying in regular contact.
• Use NCTJ events and industry milestones as stewardship and cultivation opportunities, coordinating targeted follow-up and relationship management.

4) Systems, reporting and evaluation

• Maintain excellent data quality and discipline in HubSpot CRM, including prospect stage, relationship owner, next actions, submissions, reporting deadlines and contact history.
• Produce clear pipeline and performance reports for the HoBD/chief executive (eg, submissions, conversion rates, forecast, learning and next steps).
• Contribute to quarterly review sessions to evaluate progress and refine approach.

5) Collaborative working

• Build strong working relationships across the charity and its stakeholders to translate NCTJ’s work into fundable propositions and well managed projects ensuring effective delivery of programmes through cross functional collaboration.
• Bring innovative and creative concepts to the team, and develop valuable programmes and initiatives which add to the NCTJ’s new income stream.
• Contribute to shared messaging that reflects NCTJ’s mission: high standards, quality, trusted journalism, accessibility and measurable EDI impact.

Essential

• Significant experience in trusts and foundations fundraising, including writing successful applications.
• Proven track record of securing substantial grants (five-figure and above, including multi-year where possible).
• Outstanding proposal and case for support writing skills (clear structure, persuasive narrative, strong budgets/outcomes, and tailoring to criteria).
• Strong pipeline management skills and ability to deliver multiple submissions to deadlines.

Citizens Advice Southwark provides outreach advice service in hospitals across South East London as well as from our main offices in Peckham and Walworth.

You will undertake casework, assisting clients to access their entitlements to welfare benefits and other sources of financial help such as grants and help with health and travel costs and assist clients to prepare for benefit appeals and provide representation at tribunals as required.

To be successful you will need:

The TSA is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and experienced person to join our small but ambitious fundraising team. This is a key role at the TSA, with trusts and foundations an area we have identified for significant growth, while acknowledging the extremely competitive world the sector currently finds itself in for receiving such funding. 

It would suit a candidate with a strong track record in consistently delivering in a similar role. The charity has completed significant work in this area to get the foundations right for this role (Theory of Change etc.) 

The Trusts and Foundations Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering a successful trusts and foundations fundraising programme, securing both restricted and unrestricted income to support TSA’s services, research and strategic priorities. Working closely with colleagues across fundraising and the wider organisation, the post-holder will manage a varied portfolio of funders, from small charitable trusts to major grant-making foundations. In return, you’ll have the opportunity to have genuinely flexible working as part of a warm, empathetic and committed team. About the role:

At the Motability Foundation we fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose. We oversee the Motability Scheme and provide grants to help people use it, providing access to transport to hundreds of thousands of people a year. We award grants to other charities and organisations who provide different types of transport, or work towards making transport accessible. We also carry out ongoing research, in partnership with disabled people and key stakeholders in the industry, to inspire innovations that continue to champion accessible transport for all.

This role will support the Senior Insight Manager in delivering policy research and insight as part of the new insight function. This role sits at the intersection of research and policy, ensuring that evidence is not only generated, but interpreted and mobilised effectively to inform forward-looking organisational positioning.

What you will be doing:

As Policy Research Manager, you’ll play a central role in building and mobilising the evidence needed to influence policy and public debate on mobility, disability and welfare reform. Working closely with colleagues across Insight, Policy and Public Affairs, you’ll help to ensure that the Foundation has a robust, timely and compelling evidence base to support advocacy, engagement with decision-makers, and external partnerships.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing clear and persuasive evidence narratives that demonstrate the social value and impact of the Foundation’s work, drawing on research, evaluation findings and wider policy evidence
• Scoping, developing and oversight of rapid evidence reviews and insight summaries to inform policy positions, responses to consultations and support external engagement
• Delivering forward-looking policy analyses using futures and foresight approaches (including horizon scanning and trend synthesis), assessing potential implications for disabled people and organisational positioning.
• Acting as the lead for policy-relevant research on welfare reform and related priority areas, synthesising internal and external evidence to inform organisational responses
• Supporting coordination with Motability Operations on shared policy and research priorities
• Supporting relationships with external partners including Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs), think tanks and public research bodies, including representing the Foundation to contribute an evidence-informed perspective
• Supporting dissemination and engagement activity, including roundtables, briefings, thought pieces and events that help shape debate and explore innovative policy solutions
• Working collaboratively across the organisation to move our evidence and insight from reactive to proactive, strengthening our influence over time
