The role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Energy Adviser to deliver energy advice and support to households across the UK.

You will provide trusted one-to-one energy advice, help clients navigate complex energy issues, deliver group awareness sessions and support NEA's wider community engagement work.

This is an exciting opportunity to:

• Provide one-to-one energy advice and casework support to low-income and vulnerable households.

• Deliver group energy advice sessions and community presentations.

• Support clients referred through NEA's Energy Advice and Support services.

• Build strong relationships with referral partners and community organisations.

• Maintain accurate client records and contribute to project reporting.

• Support wider NEA programmes and organisational priorities.

Your work will directly improve the health, wellbeing and energy resilience of households most at risk.

What you will need to succeed

You will bring:

• Experience delivering energy advice by telephone, webchat or face-to-face.

• Knowledge of domestic energy efficiency.

• Understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable communities.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

About the role:

Every woman deserves to feel safe where she lives — especially at night.

Our Camden Women’s Complex Needs Services provide accommodation and support for women who have experienced homelessness, trauma, Violence Against Women and Girls, and multiple disadvantage. Many of the women we support have lived through unsafe relationships, instability, exclusion, and services that have not always felt safe, consistent or trustworthy. This role is about helping to change that.

As a Night Concierge, you will be a calm, steady and reassuring presence in the service overnight, helping to create an environment where women can rest, recover and feel secure in their accommodation. You will be the first point of contact during the night, responding to residents with warmth, respect and clear boundaries, while helping to maintain the safety, dignity and stability of the building.

Your night to night work will include managing access to the service, carrying out regular building checks, responding to incidents or emergencies, reporting repairs or safety concerns, and escalating risks where needed. You will also support women with immediate practical or wellbeing needs overnight, using active listening, de-escalation skills and a trauma-informed approach to respond calmly and proportionately when someone is distressed, anxious or in crisis.

This is not a full casework role, but your work will make a real difference to the women living in the service. The way you record concerns, share information and provide clear handovers will help the wider team respond to risk, maintain continuity of support and ensure women continue to feel safe, respected and held. You will also be joining SHP at an exciting time, with access to training, reflective practice and development opportunities to support your confidence, learning and longer term career progression.

We are ideally looking for one person who can work all three required nights (Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8pm-8:30am) but we would be open to considering a job share for the right candidates.

About you:

• You understand why women-only, trauma-informed and gender-informed services matter, and you bring empathy, steadiness and respect to your work with women who may have experienced homelessness, domestic abuse, exploitation, trauma or other forms of harm.
• You are calm, alert and confident when working overnight, including when responding to distress, conflict, incidents or emergencies. You know how to hold boundaries without becoming cold or punitive.
• You communicate clearly and respectfully, with good listening and de-escalation skills, and you can build professional relationships that help residents feel safe while maintaining the expectations of the service.
• You can work independently, use sound judgement and know when to act, monitor or escalate concerns, including safeguarding, health and safety, building security or welfare concerns.
• You are organised and reliable, with the written and IT skills needed to record incidents, resident contact, actions taken and handover information clearly, accurately and in line with confidentiality and data protection requirements.

Axial SpA is an inflammatory condition of the spine and joints. Inflammation where muscles attach to the bones causes extreme pain, and if left untreated, it can permanently fuse bones together. It's an invisible and misdiagnosed condition, often leaving people feeling powerless, in increasing pain and extreme exhaustion. We campaign policy makers for early diagnosis and better services, work with the NHS to get axial SpA identified and diagnosed quickly, and build an active community, online and through our local branches across the UK. We are with them all the way. Axial SpA may work silently. But we don't.

We are a small team, looking for a part-time Fundraising Assistant to work alongside our existing Fundraising Officer, with a focus on engaging our donors and supporters and acting as first point of contact for many of our fundraisers, alongside maintaining accurate records and administration that keeps our fundraising running smoothly. You'll support activity across our income streams as part of our internal Fundraising Board, alongside our CEO, Head of Fundraising and Fundraising Officer. POST OUTLINE

This is an impactful role working in a supportive and collaborative environment. The Volunteer Manager is responsible for implementing a sustainable volunteer strategy, onboarding journey and programme across the charity. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and inspire a positive culture of volunteering within the organisation.
• Implement the Charities Volunteer Strategy and continually develop the volunteer onboarding journey and programme. 
• Liaise with departments to establish volunteer support requirements and create volunteer role descriptions.
• Continually review the recruitment plan and pipeline, analysing existing data to understand patterns, ensuring volunteer diversity.
• Promote and market Caudwell Children volunteer roles nationally with the support of the team, reaching wider audiences, using a range of recruitment methods such as online recruitment platforms, social media, local community groups, etc.

• Process onboarding paperwork, updating our volunteer database and auditing  volunteer records to ensure they are up to date with DBS checks, mandatory training, medical records and emergency contact details.
• Oversee DBS renewals, DBS Destruction notices, annual medical updates and mandatory training reminders.
• Lead volunteer support plan discussions with new volunteers to discuss reasonable adjustments and support we will put into place where they have disclosed a medical condition or disability.
• Coordinate and oversee the induction and mandatory training for newly appointed volunteers, delivering the mandatory charity training session in collaboration with the Learning and Development Manager.
• Working with departments to advise them on how to deliver an effective training and mentoring programme in order to establish a cohesive infrastructure of motivated volunteers, in collaboration with the Learning and Development Manager.
• Deliver volunteer management training and advice to departments on how to  support, mentor and motivate volunteers, ensuring regular supervisions are carried out by departments.
• Lead monthly catch ups with department heads to discuss the activity of volunteers and department needs.
• Monitor and evaluate all aspects of volunteer activity to ensure effectiveness. Conduct continuous evaluation of the volunteer programme, organising surveys and volunteer forums to gather feedback
• Responsible for checking volunteer expense forms.
• Design and organise formal or informal activities to recognise the contributions of volunteers to the organisation, including parties, social media recognition posts, volunteer case studies, volunteer awards, etc.
• Review and update if appropriate volunteer policies, procedures, risk logs and standards of volunteer service across the organisation ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Ensure the Volunteer Department is compliant with ISO requirements by annually reviewing standard volunteer documents due to renewal.
• Produce regular reports using volunteer data on volunteer recruitment, onboarding, activity and participation.
• Create month end board level reports, interact at Board level, to highlight progress against the Volunteer Strategy.
• Line Manage, supervise and mentor the employee: Volunteer Administrator.
