PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role will be responsible for developing and reviewing organisational standards of support in line with contractual and regulatory standards, leading on quality assurance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement as well as supporting compliance and regulatory requirements.
To lead on the development of new models of support practice which are person centred and trauma informed, working closely with operational managers, frontline teams, and the Head of Compliance, the post-holder will ensure that services delivered to vulnerable adults are safe, effective, person-centred, compliant, and consistently achieving positive outcomes.
The role will provide strategic oversight of quality and performance data, lead on the interpretation and analysis of operational and compliance information, identify emerging risks and trends, and support leaders to implement improvements. The post-holder will also drive organisational learning, promote consistency in practice across services, and lead the development of a robust framework to capture and embed the resident voice in service delivery and improvement. We are seeking a Senior Peer Support Worker to join the team in Lewisham, using personal lived experience of mental health difficulties to provide person-centred, recovery-focused peer support to people on hospital wards and as they are discharged to journey towards being settled in the community. This role will also line manage a Peer Support Worker, providing regular supervision and support, annual appraisals and development opportunities.
The Senior Peer Support Worker will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team within the Unit, assisting in-patients in developing essential skills and coping mechanisms, while promoting overall wellness through strength based and non-directive conversations. They will provide both practical and emotional support, facilitate access to community resources to help individuals maintain their independence while ensuring their wellbeing.
Additionally, this role includes supporting service users after discharge in the community for up to 12 weeks, aiding them in fostering independence within their local community, connecting with various agencies, enhancing life skills, providing guidance related to employment or educational opportunities and improving their ability to manage challenges effectively to prevent re-admission.

Role Purpose
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of multiple projects run by Bassetlaw Foodbank (BFB). The service is based in each of City and Hackney’s neighbourhoods in order to be accessible, local and inclusive. The service has three elements: Out There, Everywhere- specialist outreach, in reach and engagement, Building Blocks- low, medium and hi intensity support pathways, and Get Connected- building on our local, individual, and shared assets to provide recovery capital and peer support.
This role will connect the staff teams and service users to wellbeing opportunities within the local community. The role will promote the City & Hackney Recovery Service within the local community through events, social media and local community engagement. They will identify the needs of the client group and provide adequate support.
This role will lead on management of subcontractors, coordinate quarterly contract monitoring and build partnerships including commissioners, GPs, politicians, and other stakeholders to increase collaborative and effective service in City and Hackney’s neighbourhoods. The role will also lead to support MindCHWF’s policies and delivery in the blended service in order to provide efficient and high-quality service.
Job Role:
1. Nurture external partnerships across specific areas and being responsible for overseeing and ensuring all appropriate pathways are in place and reviewed
