Are you passionate about helping people build confidence, strengthen their wellbeing and feel more connected to their community? Join Mind BLMK as a Recovery Worker and play a hands-on role in supporting adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
You will create welcoming opportunities for people to talk, connect and move forward. From facilitating drop-ins and wellbeing groups to holding one-to-one conversations and developing wellbeing action plans, your work will help people identify their strengths, access the right support and take practical steps towards getting well and staying well.
About You
You will bring at least one year’s experience of supporting people to improve their mental health and wellbeing, together with a compassionate, respectful and recovery-focused approach. You will be comfortable building trust with people from diverse communities, working independently and as part of a small team, and balancing supportive conversations with clear professional boundaries.
Strong communication, organisation and IT skills are essential. Experience of facilitating groups, coordinating volunteers, using service databases, assessing needs or risks, or working with local community resources would be an advantage. You must also be able to travel between locations using your own vehicle or public transport.

World Cancer Research Fund champions the latest and most authoritative scientific research from around the world on cancer prevention and survival through diet, weight and physical activity, so that we can empower people to make informed lifestyle choices to reduce their cancer risk.
We are seeking an inspiring, strategic and collaborative leader to shape and deliver WCRF’s Health Information and Support strategy across three core audiences: the general public, health professionals and cancer survivors. The team turns WCRF’s scientific evidence on cancer prevention and survival into practical, accessible information, training and support based on our Cancer Prevention Recommendations. The postholder will lead and develop the team, ensuring its work is innovative, evidence-based, high quality and demonstrably effective.
Working across Science, Policy, Fundraising, Communications and Engagement, you will create new ways to share our health information, improve existing resources and services, and build impactful partnerships. You will ensure that public and patient insight shapes our work from cancer prevention to survivorship, strengthen programmes for health professionals and make effective use of digital channels. Responsibilities include contributing to our Medical Education programme, participating in working and steering groups and speaking at national conferences, networking at events, engaging corporate audiences and acting as a spokesperson in broadcast and print media. The Services and Programmes Coordinator is a new fixed-term role, October 2026 to April 2027, created to support Theatres Trust through a period of organisational transition.
The Coordinator will play a central role in coordinating our grants, planning and advice services, ensuring enquiries, statutory consultations and other outward-facing work are managed efficiently and progress through our systems in a timely and accurate manner.
This is a practical, organised role for someone who enjoys bringing order to busy workflows, using systems effectively, and making sure colleagues and our users receive responsive, high-quality administrative support.

Abianda is a London-based charity that works with young women and girls affected by criminal exploitation and violence, and the professionals who support them. We exist to ensure young women are no longer hidden in our communities and can live free from harm and abuse. We aim to bring about a culture shift in how services are delivered to young women and girls, so that they can access support that works for them when they need it.
We are seeking experienced, reflective and values-driven freelance trainers to support the delivery of high-quality training for professionals working with young women and girls affected by criminal exploitation and violence. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in participatory facilitation, committed to trauma-informed and intersectional practice, and able to work collaboratively.
The role will involve facilitating sessions in person and online and may require overnight travel and stays.

Role details:
Freelance, sessional contract
Day rate between £220 and £300, depending on support or lead delivery and experience
Reporting to Abianda’s Training and Development Lead

First stage online interviews will be held the week commencing 21 September. Second stage in-person interviews will be held the week commencing 28 September.
If you are invited to join the team, you must be available on 13 and 15 October for onboarding sessions. You must also be available for two out of the four following training delivery dates: 3, 11, 17 and 24 November.
