About the role
The Development Team is responsible for generating income to support the organisation. They raise income from philanthropists, corporates, trusts and foundations, individuals and community fundraisers, building strategic partnerships that deliver long-term, sustainable funding and deepen engagement.
The Donor Communications Officer sits within the Development team and reports into the Head of Philanthropy and will work closely also with the President and COO, supporting them in their communications with donors. You will also work closely with the Communications Team.

Foxglove is seeking a Digital Campaigner to deliver our digital campaigning, our digital communications, our social media and our website. This role would sit within our advocacy and communications team, which works towards stronger accountability for Big Tech, and an end to states’ misuse of algorithms and AI.
We want people in power to put an end to tech abuses that negatively impact our lives. But we’re up against an army of Big Tech lobbyists, working to shield their industry – and its vast profits – from any form of restraint. The Belay Foundation supports adoptive, kinship and special guardianship families raising children who have experienced early developmental trauma, often alongside neurodiversity. Founded in 2020 from lived experience, Belay offers something many families struggle to find elsewhere: practical, in-home support and expert guidance that’s genuinely trauma-responsive, delivered by people who understand what these families are living through.
Why now? - Belay has just spent a year strengthening its foundations - redesigning services, building organisational capacity and setting an ambitious growth plan. The groundwork is done. About the role - You’ll provide strategic and financial leadership across a small team, working closely with an exceptional Board and Belay’s Founder, who remains closely involved as Services Director. You’ll lead fundraising and income diversification, shape Belay’s public voice and ensure the organisation’s trauma-responsive, DDP-informed model continues to deliver real impact as it scales.

Our client provides retirement services to those who serve or work for the church. Both a regulated pension fund and registered charity, more than 44,000 people rely on them for their pensions. The board also supports 2,500 retired clergy with housing, including managing a national portfolio of 1,200 rented homes and Community Living options.
Supported by a multi-million pound grant from the wider church, they are setting up a new function responsible for engaging with clergy at all stages of life and ministry on their current and future plans, offering access to grants to kick-start saving, bespoke advice at key life stages and tailored products that will provide people more choice about their future. As part of this new function, they are now recruiting for a proactive, empathetic Regional Adviser to deliver personalised support to clergy based across the South West region, helping them with day-to-day financial wellbeing matters, and retirement planning.
Working across Dioceses operating across the South West, you will proactively lead local engagement with clergy through structured, personalised one-to-one conversations, events and outreach, helping to connect individuals with expert advice, guidance, products and services that support their current and future financial plans. As a key point of contact for individuals and dioceses in your region, you’ll champion the needs and experiences of clergy, helping to build confidence about what the future might hold, and connecting people to the right information, products, specialists or local support. As a Young People Support Worker at our service in Chester, you'll support young people aged 16–18 to build the confidence, resilience and practical skills they need to live independently. You'll manage a caseload, deliver personalised support plans, promote wellbeing, and help young people access housing, education, training and employment opportunities.
You will be someone with experience supporting young people or vulnerable groups, strong safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to build trusted relationships. You'll be confident in support planning, risk assessment and multi-agency working, while taking a proactive, strengths-based approach that empowers young people to achieve their goals.

Shift Pattern
A typical week consists of two shifts. Each shift begins at 9:30am and finishes at 11pm, followed by an overnight sleep-in. The shift then resumes at 07:00am and finishes at 12:00pm the following day. This entire period is classed as one shift. Sleep-ins are a requirement of the role and attract an additional payment. Flexibility to work bank holiday is also required in line with the needs of the service.
In this role, you will:
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in the service at all times possible, including using safeguarding and emergency alert procedures where applicable
• Carry a caseload of clients for whom you will be the named key worker, and you will also take joint responsibility with your team members for the well-being and day to day support of all clients in the services
• Lead on risk and needs assessment and support planning for your key clients and contribute to ongoing needs and risk assessment of other clients in the service
• Develop and implement SMART outcomes based support plans for your key clients
• Deliver one-to one and group support opportunities within their accommodation and in the local community aimed at increasing resilience in the clients we work with
• Proactively work in partnership with multiple agencies including statutory teams, to support the well-being of Depaul clients in accordance with data protection and information sharing protocols
• Adopt a flexible, reflective and creative approach in your engagement with clients and personalised in your support to them
• Involve clients in the decisions made about them and encourage participation in Depaul’s wider community programme of activities
