DRIVE aims to reduce the number of adult and child victims of domestic abusive by disrupting and changing perpetrator behaviour and maintain effective risk management of high risk, high harm perpetrators.

DRIVE is currently being expanded into Northamptonshire. The RESPECT, Safe Lives, Social Finance-led project sees RISE collaborate with Northants, statutory agencies such as the police, probation service and children's social care and local specialist agencies to challenge the behaviour of high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. The focus of DRIVE is to hold the perpetrators to account, rather than expecting punitive measures of uprooting the victim and children from their family, community and schools to be the solution; thereby allowing the perpetrator to move from one victim to the next.

Key Accountabilities

Statement of the main areas of responsibility

The DRIVE Service Manager will be responsible for mobilising the expansion project across Northamptonshire, working closely with the Drive Central Team.

The DRIVE Northants Team (Case Managers and Advance Practitioner) will develop and co-ordinate an individual, multi-modal intervention plan for each Service User, which will incorporate support and/or disruption strategies; a pro-active approach to Service User engagement and commitment to working towards attitudinal and behavioural change, whilst keeping the victim’s safety central to any interventions implemented. The Service Manager will seek to ensure this role is carried out fairly and take organisational responsibility for risk. 

The DRIVE Service Manager will work collaboratively with the wider London DRIVE Team, and line manage DRIVE Northants Case Managers and Co-ordinators.

Management and Development:

· Provide each Case Managers with monthly Case Management Supervision.

· As part of the monthly Case management supervision process, Case Managers should be given the opportunity to discuss Service User cases; exploring concerns, reviewing assessment decisions and developing a collaborative individual intervention plan.

· Ensure that the service is managed in accordance with its governing documents from the DRIVE case management manual.

· Provide annual appraisal and regular support and supervision reviews to ensure that great performance is recognised; and that poor performance, and welfare issues affecting performance, are addressed. Offering Clinical Supervision as necessary.

· Support, manage and develop Case Managers, promoting wellbeing and growth within their roles.

· Ensure Case Managers maintain safeguarding training up to date in line with local protocols.

· Ensure Case Managers attend all training delivered by RESPECT and other relevant training.

· Ensure that all safeguarding and critical incidents are reported in a timely manner following the appropriate protocols.

Management and Performance:

· Provide routine reports to the Project Director, funders and stakeholders so that they can assess the overall performance of the service.

· To ensure that the required data is recorded on the Drive case management system, so that the evaluation, performance management and service learning is maximised.

· Represent the service at local and national events; deliver training and presentations as appropriate in partnership with the Project Director.

· Contribute to the learning from the Drive Pilot through service reviews, working with the Drive Evaluators, supporting the Drive Partnership in addressing implementation and ongoing delivery

Strategic Management

· Develop and maintain links with other agencies, both as an individual and as a service; developing protocols, referral procedures, skills sharing and joint working with external partners as appropriate.

· Attend and partake the Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Panel (DAPP) and MARAC meetings.

· Develop and maintain effective links with other agencies, attending strategic and operational working groups as appropriate.

· Demonstrate a proactive approach to resolving barriers to achieving the Drive objectives with other professionals and services.

· Share best practice with other Drive Service Managers to further develop the role and the Drive project in general.

· Work with the Director, Practice Adviser, Steering Group and Drive Project Evaluators to maximise learning from the pilot sites and modify the model according to findings from data on what is proving effective.

· Develop and share ideas for service innovation, exploring options for implementation locally and informing the potential for national roll-out on conclusion of the pilot phase.

Recording and administrative tasks:

· Supervision sessions will be recorded on the Case Management Supervision pro-forma, and form part of the quality assurance and staff support and supervision processes as well as informing the personal and professional development of the Team leader Case Manager.

· Ensure that Team Leader and Case Managers’ files and records are accurate and complete, submitted at the appropriate data collection milestones and that both are kept and are in compliance with General Data Protection Regulations 2018 (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and meet IMR (Internal Management Report for Domestic Homicide Reviews DHR) recording standards.

· Maintain an accurate and secure audit trail of all relevant communication in compliance with GDPR 2018.

· Support Case Managers to use the Drive Project electronic case management system accurately and consistently for all their work.

General tasks:

· Be a strong advocate for RISE delivery, representing RISE and its strategic direction at key stakeholder events.

· Attend management meetings as directed by line manager.

Confidentiality and Information Security

· Adhere to the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts and comply with the terms of RISE’s Privacy, IT and Data protection policies, and that of our partners where relevant.

· Comply with security measures in accordance with RISE policies and our partner’s E-mail and Internet use.

Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults

· RISE is committed to keeping children and vulnerable adults safe. Post holders with direct service user contact are responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults s/he is responsible for or comes into contact with. Post holders not in direct offender contact have a general responsibility for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults in the course of their daily duties and for ensuring that they are aware of the specific duties relating to their role.

Other duties

About the role

Following the launch of our new strategic approach, our Operations and Membership Lead will provide the operational, financial and administrative backbone of the organisation — keeping our finances and governance on track, and coordinating our network of over 70 member organisations.

Finance, operations and governance (70%) — manage bookkeeping in QuickBooks, coordinate banking, prepare management accounts, support grant financial reporting, maintain internal systems (SharePoint, IT), lead on policy compliance (safeguarding, GDPR, health and safety), and support Board governance and statutory filings.

Membership coordination (30%) — manage the end-to-end membership process from enquiries to renewals, coordinate member surveys and data, and organise our events — quarterly member meetings, roundtables and webinars.

About you

You have experience in an operations, finance or administrative coordination role within a non-profit or membership organisation, including managing the full financial cycle within a charity and a working knowledge of charity fund accounting. The Suicide Bereavement Specialist Manager leads and manages a team of approximately 10–12 Suicide Bereavement Specialists, providing strong and supportive management alongside clear professional accountability and oversight of practice.

The postholder will also maintain a small caseload of approximately 5–10 beneficiaries, enabling them to remain connected to frontline practice and the experiences of people accessing the service.

The postholder has operational responsibility for the beneficiary journey from the point a referral enters the service through assessment, triage and allocation to a Suicide Bereavement Specialist, and for ensuring that subsequent support is safe, timely, appropriate, person-centred and delivered to Pete’s Dragons’ expected standards.

Relationship with the Beneficiary Services Manager

The Beneficiary Services Manager holds overall strategic responsibility for Beneficiary Services, including the direction, development and performance of beneficiary-facing services across Pete’s Dragons.

The SBS Manager holds operational responsibility for the day-to-day delivery, management and quality of the Suicide Bereavement Specialist service.

The SBS Manager is expected to exercise appropriate professional and managerial autonomy in the daily operation of the SBS service, escalating significant safeguarding, workforce, performance, capacity, service-quality or organisational concerns to the Beneficiary Services Manager.

The two roles will work closely together to ensure that strategic decisions are translated into consistent, safe and effective practice.

Key Responsibilities

Referral, Triage and Allocation

The SBS Manager will:

• Take overall responsibility for all incoming referrals to the SBS service from the point of entry through to allocation.
• Review referrals to establish need, urgency, risk, suitability and any additional considerations affecting the provision of support.
• Ensure referrals are processed promptly and in accordance with Pete’s Dragons’ referral pathways, eligibility criteria and service standards.
• Identify and appropriately escalate safeguarding, suicide risk or other significant concerns arising during the referral process.
• Allocate beneficiaries to the most appropriate SBS, considering individual need, practitioner skills and experience, existing caseload, capacity, location and other relevant factors.
• Maintain oversight of referrals awaiting allocation and ensure that beneficiaries do not become lost or unnecessarily delayed within the system.
• Monitor demand, waiting times, caseloads and team capacity and raise emerging pressures with the Beneficiary Services Manager.
• Ensure referral and allocation decisions are clearly and appropriately recorded.

Management and Leadership of the SBS Team

The SBS Manager will:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and management to approximately 10–12 Suicide Bereavement Specialists.
• Lead regular individual management 1:1s with each SBS.
• Lead group supervision and reflective practice opportunities as required.
• Lead daily SBS team meetings and scheduled practice meetings.
• Create a team culture which combines compassion and psychological safety with professional accountability and consistently high standards.
• Maintain regular contact with staff working across different Pete’s Dragons locations.
• Ensure staff have appropriate opportunities to raise concerns, discuss difficult work and seek management guidance.
• Monitor individual workload, caseload and capacity and intervene where concerns arise.
• Support staff wellbeing while maintaining clear expectations regarding professional responsibilities and service delivery.
• Provide appropriate telephone management support for SBS staff working outside normal office hours as required.

Quality Assurance and Practice Standards

The SBS Manager will hold responsibility for the quality of SBS practice and will:

• Undertake formal case audits for each SBS on a quarterly basis.
• Regularly review the quality, accuracy and completeness of beneficiary records and case documentation.
• Monitor SBS practice against Pete’s Dragons’ policies, procedures, practice standards and expected professional boundaries.
• Arrange and review recorded beneficiary sessions at appropriate intervals as part of ongoing practice quality assurance and practitioner development.
• Provide constructive feedback following practice reviews and agree actions or development plans where required.
• Identify excellent practice and ensure learning is shared across the team.
• Identify practice which falls below the expected standard and take timely action to support improvement.
• Monitor beneficiary engagement, missed appointments, case progression, case duration and closure practices.
• Ensure concerns regarding practice, conduct, competence or beneficiary safety are appropriately documented, addressed and escalated.
• Promote reflective professional practice and continuous improvement throughout the SBS team.

Safeguarding and Risk

The SBS Manager will:

• Act as a Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) for Pete’s Dragons. Appropriate DSO training can be provided where required.
• Share responsibility for the management and oversight of safeguarding cases within the organisation.
• Provide advice and support to SBSs where safeguarding concerns arise.
• Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified, recorded, escalated and acted upon in accordance with Pete’s Dragons’ Safeguarding Policy and relevant statutory guidance.
• Work collaboratively with other safeguarding leads and senior managers where complex or significant concerns arise.
• Promote confident and consistent safeguarding practice throughout the SBS team.
• Ensure staff understand the distinction between safeguarding, suicide risk, clinical concern and other forms of beneficiary risk and follow the appropriate organisational pathway.

Beneficiary Casework

To remain connected to frontline practice, the SBS Manager will:

• Maintain a small caseload of approximately 5–10 beneficiaries.
• Provide high-quality suicide bereavement support in accordance with Pete’s Dragons’ practice model, policies and standards.
• Maintain timely, accurate and appropriate case records.
• Model excellent professional boundaries, beneficiary communication and case management.
• Participate in appropriate clinical supervision for their own beneficiary work.
• Ensure management responsibilities remain the priority of the role and that their personal caseload does not compromise their availability to manage the service or support the SBS team.

People Management and HR

The SBS Manager will be responsible for all routine HR management relating to their direct reports, including:

• Recruitment and selection of Suicide Bereavement Specialists.
• Induction and probation.
• Regular management supervision.
• Annual appraisal and performance review.
• Identifying individual and team development needs.
• Supporting professional development and CPD.
• Attendance and absence management.
• Managing annual leave and ensuring adequate service capacity.
• Addressing performance, capability, conduct or behavioural concerns promptly and appropriately.
• Supporting staff wellbeing and identifying when additional support may be required.
• Working with the Beneficiary Services Manager and other appropriate colleagues on formal HR matters where necessary.
• Maintaining appropriate and confidential management records.

Training and Development

The SBS Manager will:

• Identify individual and collective training and development needs across the SBS team.
• Ensure mandatory training remains current.
• Support SBSs to develop their knowledge, confidence and professional practice.
• Use case audits, recorded-session reviews, supervision, beneficiary feedback and other quality measures to identify areas for development.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of internal practice training and workshops.
• Support newly appointed SBSs through induction and their transition into independent practice.

Policy, Procedure and Service Development

The SBS Manager will:

• Ensure organisational policies, procedures and agreed ways of working are consistently implemented within the SBS team.
• Communicate changes in policy or practice clearly and ensure staff understand what is expected of them.
• Monitor compliance and address inconsistent practice.
• Contribute frontline operational knowledge to the review and development of policies, procedures, pathways and practice standards.
• Support the Beneficiary Services Manager in implementing service developments and organisational change.

Scope and Accountability

This is a significant operational management role with responsibility for both people and practice.

The Opportunity

The Professional Learning Quality Lead will play a key role in supporting our work around teacher development, helping to embed high quality standards for teacher professional learning across the education sector.

Drawing on their deep understanding of teacher development, the Professional Learning Quality Lead will lead on a number of internal and external projects, working with colleagues and sector stakeholders to develop and launch a CPD quality framework. Role description

Establishing CPD quality standards and quality assurance processes

You will lead on the development and implementation of a new CPD quality framework, which will include:

• Initial development and testing of an evidence-informed framework for CPD quality
• Seeking input from experts and key stakeholders via a range of consultation activities (e.g. advisory groups, focus groups, surveys)
• Developing effective processes to quality assure CPD in line with the newly developed framework, underpinned by robust policies and governance processes
• Developing and delivering training and implementation resources to support the rollout of the framework, helping to ensure the framework is understood and applied consistently
• Working with partner organisations to quality assure their professional development offer in line with agreed standards

Developing training materials

You will spend some of your time working on developing and reviewing CPD materials to support the College’s wider CPD offer. This might include:

• Designing and delivering CPD sessions for teachers and school leaders
• Designing or contributing to the development of new and existing online courses and content
• Reviewing and evaluating existing provision, identifying opportunities for further improvement

Wider responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead Trevi’s Jasmine Mother and Child Residential Family Centre, supporting women and children to build safer, more stable futures.

Salary: £46,123 to £52,223 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with flexible start and finish times, occasional home working and participation in an on-call rota

About the role

Jasmine Mother and Child Family Residential Centre is Trevi’s specialist residential service supporting women during pregnancy and mothers living with their children while addressing substance use, trauma, mental health needs and wider family pressures.

As Registered Manager, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of this seven-bed residential family service, ensuring a safe, nurturing and trauma-responsive environment for women, children and staff.

Working alongside the Head of Service, you will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, maintain high standards of care and ensure the service meets Ofsted requirements and all relevant regulatory and safeguarding standards.

Key responsibilities include:

· Leading, supporting and developing the staff team

· Ensuring the safe and effective day-to-day running of the service

· Maintaining compliance with Ofsted requirements and relevant legislation

· Overseeing safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance

· Developing positive relationships with women, children and professionals

· Ensuring individual care and support plans uphold families’ dignity, privacy and safety

· Monitoring budgets, resources, staffing and service performance

· Supporting continuous service development and improvement

· Participating in the on-call rota, including scheduled weekends

Trevi will provide support with the Ofsted registration and interview process.

About you

You will bring strong leadership experience within residential childcare alongside a sound understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding and regulatory standards.

You must have:

· A minimum of two years’ residential childcare experience within the last five years, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity

· An NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, be working towards it or be prepared to work towards it within six months of appointment, or Social Work England registration

· Experience of managing and developing an effective team

· Experience of working with women and children

· A strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment and person-centred support

· Knowledge of trauma-informed practice

· Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills

You will be compassionate, professional and non-judgemental, with the confidence to lead within a complex regulated service.

Summary of Main Duties and Objectives of the Job:

· Assist in planning and delivering outreach activities.

· Supervise outreach staff and volunteers.

· Build relationships with community partners.

· Monitor and report on outreach performance.

· Deputise for the Group Manager when required.

Support the Group Manager to :

· Design and implement outreach strategies to engage diverse communities.

• Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Trustees.
• Represent Rochdale and District Mind at external meetings, forums, and events.

A little bit about you

Experience and Knowledge

•  Previous experience operating in a People Partner, Senior HR Adviser role (or similar)
•  Experience of independently advising managers across a broad range of employee relations matters, including complex cases.
•  Experience partnering with managers across recruitment, workforce planning and/or talent management (desirable)
•  Experience of working within a mission-led, or charity context (desirable)
•  Demonstrable experience of using a coaching style with the ability to influence, challenge and build management capability
•  Good knowledge of employment law and best practice with the ability apply policy proportionately whilst balancing organisational risk
• Experience advising and supporting managers through organisational and contractual change, including consultation processes
•  CIPD qualified (desirable)
