Responsibilities of our Celebrity & Influencer Relationship Officer:

• The role of Celebrity and Influencer Relationship Officer will support us to deliver our Brand & Marketing 10-year vision which supports the overall organisational goals of enhancing cat welfare and increasing our impact, supporting volunteering to become an exemplary voluntary organisation, deepening our engagement with customers and supporters and enabling vital income generation activity to support financial sustainability.
• Acting as a key contact for all of our celebrities and influencers, this role is responsible for supporting the delivery of our strategy in this channel. The role works cross organisationally to support teams with celebrity and influencer activity to drive awareness of and engagement with different areas of our work and products.
• The role will also support the development of partnerships with digital creators across social and streaming platforms, helping Cats Protection reach younger and more diverse audiences.

What we’re looking for in our Celebrity & Influencer Relationship Officer:

• Have experience working directly with celebrities, influencers, or in talent management within the nonprofit, media, or entertainment sectors.
• Experience of nurturing relationships to drive high impact and maximum value for the organisation and to build lasting and meaningful connections
• Experience of identifying, researching, undertaking due diligence and targeting appropriate influencers and high-profile individuals, publicists and agents, digital creators streamers and gaming communities across platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, TikTok Live and Discord

Background to the role  

Our Head of People is currently on Maternity leave until February 2027. During this period, we are strengthening the People function and are seeking an HR Officer to support the interim Head of People to deliver effective support while we align our staff and volunteering processes; this role will support both areas with a focus on HR. 

Our Operations Coordinator carries out staff recruitment, onboarding and offboarding work. The HR Officer may help with this from time to time, but it won’t be a substantive part of the job. 

Job Purpose 

Support the Head of People to deliver the charity’s HR and Volunteering functions (People) in line with the organisation’s values and EDI objectives. 

This will include improving our ‘People’ processes and increasing the overall efficiency of this area of the organisation.

Key Tasks 

People support 

Work with the Head of People to: 

• Respond to HR-related queries from across the organisation, escalating as necessary. 

• Maintain and update the staff handbook, policies, and procedures ensuring they remain accurate and compliant. 

• Support the implementation of Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives, including by booking internal/external training sessions and maintaining training records and mandatory training compliance. 

HR administration  

• Draft and issue job offers, contracts and contract variations. 

• Maintain accurate employee records within Sage HR 

• Manage changes to employment including hours, pay, role and line manager updates. 

• Manage employee benefits such as Employee Assistance Programme and cycle‑to‑work scheme.

Absence management 

• Monitor sickness absence and ensure return‑to‑work documentation is completed. 

• Maintain accurate annual leave records. 

• Arrange Occupational Health assessments and ensure reports are received and shared as appropriate.

Employee relations administration 

• Maintain records of cases including grievances, disciplinaries, and investigations. 

• Take minutes in HR meetings. 

• Prepare letters, documentation and follow‑up actions relating to HR casework 

Volunteering 

• Work with the volunteering team to improve efficiency and help align volunteering processes with HR practices where appropriate. 

 General 

• Meet regularly with the Head of People for support and supervision 

• Attend team and staff meetings, as required. 

• Undertake any training required to fulfil the role. 

• Undertake any other duties within the competence of the post holder as may be required from time to time for the continued smooth running of Age UK East London.

Employment Details 

Contract type 

This contracted post is for 21 hours per week (if part-time, working day pattern to be decided).We welcome application for flexible working including reduced hours and other flexible working arrangements.

Salary   

Between £29,340 – 32,430 Plus 5% employer pension contribution. Organisational annual pay award pending 

Salaries are based on our salary bands system. This salary range refers to the lowest and top steps of the grade. Salary will progress every year until the top salary is reached. 

Holiday entitlement 

25 days (pro-rata for part time) of paid holiday per year plus bank holidays. This increases after two years of service to 27 days, and then a further one day per every year of service up to a maximum of 30 days after five years of service. In addition, all employees are entitled to one day off on (or around) their Birthday.

About the role

The Social Media and Marketing Officer will deliver high-performing digital marketing campaigns that drive supporter acquisition and engagement. Working within the charity’s Policy and Communications team, you will focus on content creation to support a broad range of charity initiatives, ranging from fundraising campaigns to promoting events including our annual conference and signature fundraising event, the Duchenne Dash, and disseminating news to our stakeholders and community.

Reporting to the Director of Policy and Communications, you will lead the execution of digital campaigns, work to strengthen our presence on social media and grow our audience to amplify our communications and marketing activity, produce impactful marketing materials, work with community representatives and ambassadors to develop case studies and support with wider marketing and communications activity.

In the role you will:

• Support the implementation and delivery of multi-channel campaigns that build awareness of Duchenne UK’s work, promote our events, projects and outputs, and support fundraising goals.

The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking a Senior Policy Adviser to join our Public Policy Team. The role is crucial for the development and delivery of evidence-driven British Academy policy programmes on communities and social policy, using SHAPE research to impact policy outcomes that support the Academy’s and the Policy Directorate’s strategy.

The role

The British Academy’s public policy programmes explore domestic policy challenges that SHAPE research (Social sciences, Humanities and the Arts for People and the Economy/Environment), which can help policymakers to understand, reframe and find solutions. We work closely with our Fellows, alongside a diverse community of academics, experts, practitioners and importantly, policymakers. Our approach is focused on drawing together insights from SHAPE research and convening key figures to understand how these can be applied to policymaking. The Senior Policy Adviser will lead the delivery of evidence-driven policy programmes focused on communities and social infrastructure, with an opportunity at the outset to define the scope and strategy of these programmes. You also need to be comfortable with bringing insights and analysis together and making new connections across policy themes to approach problems from a fresh perspective.

About the Project

PKD Scotland: Outreach and Community Connections Project. 

It is estimated that around 5,000 people in Scotland could be living with Polycystic Kidney 
Disease. It is however often poorly understood and historically underfunded, meaning people 
can leave clinic after diagnosis with little support beyond medical appointments. Many tell us 
they don't know where to turn for emotional support or to meet others living with the same 
condition. We want to change that and with support from a National lottery Awards for All grant 
that is exactly what we are going to do. 

The eighteen-month project will see us reach into hospitals across Scotland to try and ensure 
that no one with PKD in Scotland has to manage their journey on their own. From diagnosis 
onwards we want all to be aware of the charity, the array of services that we offer and foster 
engagement. Two new volunteer led support groups will be established and a group of 
ambassadors recruited to support the ongoing connections we make to ensure that PKD 
remains in the spotlight. 

As our Scotland PKD Engagement Officer you will be central to the success of the project. 
Many people only reach us years after diagnosis, often when symptoms worsen, but we know 
that early connection can make a real difference. PKD is lifelong and people face new 
challenges at every stage. Having support around them helps them stay confident, informed
and connected.

About The Role

 
As PKD’s Scotland Engagement Officer, you will play a central role in delivering this ambitious 
outreach project. 

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will raise awareness of the PKD Charity and its services, 
ensuring that people diagnosed with PKD are informed about available support from the earliest 
possible stage.

You will build and nurture relationships with NHS professionals and services across Scotland, 
helping embed PKD Charity information and resources into patient pathways. Alongside this, you 
will work closely with volunteers to establish two new PKD support groups and develop an 
ambassador programme to maintain long-term local engagement and visibility.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident relationship-builder who enjoys working

Finance Manager

• Schedule and host alumni tours and visits to the campus

• Actively facilitate meaningful networking and connection opportunities among current students, employees, and alumni, including alumni-to-alumni engagement

• Oversee the alumni and Grade 12 mentor program with the Office of Student Advising

• Manage the onboarding of the graduating Grade 12 class into the alumni network throughout the students’ final year at ASL, with event engagement and a fundraising appeal, in partnership with the high school leadership team

• Coordinate with the Director of Development and Giving Manager to annually promote fundraising appeals and giving challenges at alumni events and in alumni communications

Communications:

• Execute alumni communications in coordination with the Director of Development and the Communications team

• Write, design, and publish a monthly alumni newsletter, London Calling

• Research, meet, and conduct interviews with alumni of note in order to write monthly in-depth feature stories in London Calling

• Serve as lead on alumni networking software (ASLConnects, a Graduway site)

• Develop alumni content for ASL social media and online alumni platforms.

• Partner with the Giving Manager to drive success and class engagement during Grade 12 class gift campaign drive each year

• Monitor and provide updates for alumni web pages 

• Assist with copywriting for alumni fundraising around the Annual Fund and other fundraising initiatives as requested by the Director of Development

• Work with the Web Editor to ensure that alumni pages of ASL website are up-to-date, relevant, and compelling

Additional responsibilities:

• Design and occasionally send mass broadcast emails and invitations related to alumni and/or parents of alumni, in coordination with the Director of Development

• In partnership with the Communications team, build monthly London Calling features on ASL (a Finalsite website), including news stories, in memoriam notes, and class notes

• Handle daily alumni inbox communications, including processing web login and alumni portal access requests

• Manage the Eagle mascot volunteers, and select student-facing events 

• Photograph alumni and parents of alumni groups and events

• As requested, provide occasional copywriting and copy editing support to the rest of the Development team, including non–alumni specific projects

• Perform any other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, including occasional weekend and evening hours for event coverage 

Essential qualifications/experience:

• A proven track record of event planning experience with high attention to detail, time management, budget oversight, specific management knowledge of AV and decor, and handling multiple event projects simultaneously

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, highly organized and a problem-solver, positive and friendly, strong people management and interpersonal skills

• Collaborative team colleague and a self-starter

In addition, the Officer contributes to the organisation’s institutional philanthropy efforts. Prospectus is pleased to be supporting a leading educational and social mobility charity in the UK to recruit for an Interim HR Projects Manager for a period of 6 to 9 months. This role is to be based out of their London office and remotely and is available on a full time or part time basis (minimum 3 day per week).

Reporting into the Senior Operations Manager, the Interim HR Projects Manager will undertake specific projects to enhance the charity’s HR support, including for example, reviewing training and skills development for line managers and scoping frameworks and considerations for organisational values development. In addition, the HR Projects Manager will support other areas of HR activity and keep up to date with legislation, policies and procedures relevant to the role and the charity’s work. 

The successful candidate will bring some broad HR experience from across the employee lifecycle with a good understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance. You will have excellent experience of managing HR related projects and will have strong organisational and problem solving skills with the ability to build relationships quickly. It would also be beneficial to bring experience or passion for working in the education or not-for-profit sector

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape policy and influence decision makers at a pivotal time for children’s social care in Scotland.

Working within a UK wide Policy and Campaigns team, you will lead work in Scotland to influence legislation, policy and practice. You will ensure policy positions and campaigns are evidence based, drawing on research, stakeholder engagement and lived experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing evidence based policy positions and solutions to influence national and local decision making
• Drafting high quality briefings, consultation responses and reports
• Leading research projects and analysing data to inform policy and campaigning prioritie
• Building and maintaining relationships with MSPs, government officials, regulators and sector partners

· Trusts & grants: Research, write, and submit compelling funding applications to trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies to secure new and repeat funding.

· Corporate & individual giving: Work alongside Service Delivery Manager and Deputy Service Manager to develop relationships with corporate sponsors and individual donors, creating engagement opportunities.
