About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail‑driven Careers and Workforce Coordinator to join our Faculties Team, supporting both the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FICM) and the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FPM).
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to workforce planning, recruitment, quality management and practitioner development, areas that directly influence clinical practice and patient care across the UK.
In this role, you will act as the administrative lead for all matters relating to workforce, recruitment, careers and practitioner support. You will also play a key part in coordinating quality workstreams across both Faculties.
Your work will range from data analysis and resource development to stakeholder engagement and committee support, offering variety, responsibility and the chance to work within a collaborative and supportive team.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading workforce‑related projects and responding to queries across both Faculties
- Managing workforce censuses and surveys, including data preparation, analysis support and reporting
- Supporting regional workforce engagement events and producing follow‑up reports
- Coordinating recruitment workstreams, including drafting person specifications, managing website content and organising Interviewers’ Training Days
- Ensuring workforce developments are clearly and accurately communicated
- Leading on matters relating to Advanced Critical Care Practitioners (ACCPs), including curriculum support and Higher Education Institution (HEI) accreditation
- Serving as secretary to committees and working groups, including preparing agendas, drafting papers, providing advice, taking minutes and tracking actions
About You
You will be an organised and detail‑focused administrator with experience managing varied workloads under pressure. You will have strong experience in committee administration, including accurate minute taking, and will be confident producing high‑quality written and database work.
You will also bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong IT proficiency (Word, Outlook and Excel), and the ability to interpret and simplify complex information. Experience within a membership organisation or medical education environment is desirable.

- Keep up to date with payroll and pension legislation, spotting risks and recommending solutions.
- Process payments, cost of living uplifts and annual increments accurately.
- Liaise with third-party providers (pensions, life, childcare vouchers, union subscriptions, cycle to work and more).
- Audit payroll data and work with HR colleagues to resolve gaps.
- Respond to queries about pay, pensions and benefits with clarity and care
- You’ll also contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement work – because payroll isn’t just about processing, it’s about making things better.
You will have:
You will already have experience working in a payroll environment, giving first-level payroll advice and managing payroll processes.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience using an HRIS (for example iTrent) and strong general IT/data skills
- Brilliant attention to detail – you’re fast, but you’re accurate
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Confidence working both independently and collaboratively
- Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- A solid understanding of confidentiality and data protection

A CIPP Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) would be great, but practical experience counts too.

This is a crucial, busy and varied role working closely with the Head of Communications and Campaigns to raise awareness and increase the visibility of endometriosis and Endometriosis UK. You will be working as part of a small but ambitious communications and campaigns team with a strong commitment to raising awareness and achieving real change to help those living with endometriosis and menstrual health conditions.
The role will be ideal for a proactive, forward-thinking, and highly organised communications professional who is comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. The postholders priorities will range from being the first point of contact for media enquiries to drafting media statements to respond to Government announcements that could impact the lives of those affected by endometriosis. You’ll be able to identify news stories, opportunities, and effectively pitch ideas to high profile media outlets, and have experience in working with case studies and celebrities to share their stories with the media.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking two experienced Policy Managers to join our Health Policy team to provide maternity cover. This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in shaping national child health policy and influencing decision-makers across England and the wider UK.
Reporting to the Head of Health Policy, you will work with College Officers, policy committees, experts and external stakeholders to identify, analyse and deliver a wide range of child health policy projects and activities. You will lead policy development using research, evidence and horizon scanning to inform outputs and support the College’s influencing work.
These are high-visibility roles covering priority areas including prevention, child health inequalities, child protection and children’s rights. You will be recognised as a subject expert in your policy area(s) and will work collaboratively across the organisation and externally to maximise impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development of evidence-based policy to influence the child health agenda in England, working with devolved nations colleagues on UK-wide issues
- Horizon scanning and monitoring emerging developments in child health policy to inform strategy and planning
- Producing consultation responses, briefings, analysis and policy reports
- Delivering policy projects using strong project management, matrix working and time-bound working groups
- Building and managing relationships with stakeholders across government, academia, charities, professional bodies and the health sector
- Representing the College externally at meetings, events, conferences and policy forums

Essential skills and experience include:

About the Role
We are looking for a hardworking, passionate Fundraising Officer to join our team, delivering a range of fundraising initiatives. Join a dynamic and forward‑thinking team as we grow our fundraising capacity and explore new income opportunities, helping to secure vital funds for our life‑saving services.
Working closely with the Fundraising Manager, this role will be vital in achieving our fundraising strategy and income targets. Now is a really exciting time for Solace as we embark on a fresh organisational strategy backed by a new and ambitious fundraising strategy. You’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative and high‑achieving team, with opportunities to get involved across all fundraising activities, including helping to grow Solace’s high‑value fundraising from corporates, trusts and foundations, and major donors.
You’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills, knowledge and confidence across key fundraising streams, including special events, digital fundraising, trusts and foundations, community and challenge events, and corporate partnerships.This will be a varied role in a fast-paced environment, suited to someone looking to take the next step in their fundraising career.
You’ll contribute to the wider objectives of the Business Development Team, particularly within Fundraising, by helping to build strong relationships and partnerships, raise the organisation’s profile and income, and work collaboratively with colleagues.
About You
- Proven experience in delivering community fundraising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences in a range of formats.
- Knowledge of developing social media content and developing branded publicity materials.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in IT, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and CRM databases. Experience with Salesforce and creative design tools such Canva is desirable.
- A strong understanding of, and commitment to, equity, diversity, and inclusion - particularly within the context of the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector.
- Committed to continuous learning, professional development, and self-improvement.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, using initiative and sound judgment.

About you:
The Special Events Manager is an exciting role at MDUK, that will sit within the Fundraising team.
You'll develop and deliver Muscular Dystrophy UK’s exciting Special Events portfolio.
You'll be working closely with the Associate Director of High Value Engagement
You'll have direct line management of the Special Events Officers to achieve agreed objectives and fundraising targets.
You'll be working collaboratively within the High Value Engagement team to identify prospects from Special Events that can be stewarded to create long term high value relationships across the organisation.

Experience required
You’ll have previous experience of:
- Working across multiple social media platforms and monitoring engagement e.g. Meta, LinkedIn, X
- Producing audience-specific, engaging and shareable daily content in different formats
- Training and supporting others to create and publish content
- Supporting and delivering unique and vibrant social media campaigns
- Growing online social communities and rates of social media engagement
- Interpreting social media analytics and providing insight on content performance
