Role Description
The Programme Coordinator will be tasked with ensuring the smooth running of all student related events. This will include having a full understanding of the SEO-London law programmes; understanding the legal industry that the programme supports; how these fits into the SEO-London organisation and using this knowledge to liaise with students and client/partner firms to run, organise and market successful events. LAH is a community-led charity driven by and for Latin Americans in the UK. For decades, we have been supporting Latin American and other Spanish and Portuguese-speaking migrants, championing their rights, wellbeing, and inclusion. We are a small, close-knit team with big ambitions, and everything we do is rooted in the lived experiences of the communities we serve. Our work takes place across London and at our community centre in Kilburn, North West London.
About the role
This is a part-time, permanent role (14 hours per week) that sits at the heart of LAH's operations and administration. As our Bookkeeper, you will ensure our financial records are accurate, our compliance obligations are met, and our senior team has the reliable information they need to make good decisions.
Day to day, you will process invoices and payments, reconcile bank accounts, prepare records for our annual audit, manage our income tracking across all programmes, and support payroll administration, all using Xero. You will report directly to the Director and work closely with the wider team.
This is not a back-office role at a distance from our mission. You will be on-site with us, part of the team, and your work will be visible and valued.
What we are looking for
You will bring at least two years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in the voluntary sector, alongside a relevant accounting qualification (IAB, AAT or equivalent). You will be confident with accounting software (we use Xero), have a strong eye for detail, and be able to work independently while being a genuine team player.
Just as importantly, you will have an understanding of and commitment to the communities we serve, and you will bring that commitment to everything you do.

OVERVIEW
As Finance Officer, you will support the Financial Accountant in effectively managing the Purchase Ledger and providing a high-quality financial support service to the RMBI Care Company Home Management Teams. This includes overseeing the financial aspects of purchases and supplier management.
Key responsibilities include administering the invoice capture system for supplier invoices, processing staff expenses and corporate credit card transactions via the expense management system, and assisting Homes in the effective operation of Imprest, Residents' Fund, and Amenity Fund accounts within the Resident Information System. You will support the Homes admin team to ensure timely and accurate recording of bank transactions and reconciliation of fund accounts. Additionally, you will provide cover and assistance to the Accounts Receivable team as required.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, preferably within a care home or similar environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this role.

What is the Role?
In this role, you will drive business growth by securing new partnerships and managing key client accounts across designated regions.
