About the opportunity
We're in a fantastic position to have recently have partnered with the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) for an evaluation of our programmes. Excitingly this means we will be expanding our reach and starting to work in geographies that we've not reached before.
We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in Rotherham and Sheffield.
The Rotherham/Sheffield Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. They attend the weekly tutoring sessions at each school, as well as overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring, always working to deliver a great impact.
The Rotherham/Sheffield Programme Coordinator supports the recruitment of volunteer tutors, manages the tutor sign up process, develops relationships with schools including their Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers, collects data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and works with other internal teams on business development opportunities.

Contract and hours: Fixed term contract until 31st July 2026. Full time. We offer flexible hours with 9:30-4 as core hours. A full working week is 37.5 hours.

Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; regularly attending weekly tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance.
- Responsible for overseeing the quality of tutoring, engaging in quality assurance processes, and providing feedback to volunteer tutors to ensure effective and impactful delivery. Provide regular check-ins with tutors to ensure ample support and guidance is given to provide targeted tuition to pupils.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers. Maintain clear and timely communication with relevant school staff, offering regular check-ins with key school stakeholders, and contribute to impact reporting to schools. Supporting the Programme Manager with strategies to retain and sustain school partnerships.
- Update and accurately maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting timely data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and pupil surveys. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators to key stakeholders and using them to enhance programme delivery. Work with the Programme Manager on business development, approaching new schools that might be interested in working with Action Tutoring.
- Proactively report to the Programme Manager on the details of Action Tutoring’s operations in their partner schools.

Being the sole representative for a partner school, you will need to use your ability to work independently and with initiative, often organising your own time to meet deadlines. You’ll also need to have a strong aptitude for developing relationships with a range of stakeholders ensuring you uphold high standards of communication and adapt your style for different audiences. The nature of this role will also require you to demonstrate adaptability, resilience and the ability to cope with some uncertainty.
This position would suit you if you’re looking to develop your experience in the education or charity sectors. Existing experience of working with young people and/or project management in a charity or education setting would be an asset. Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Innovation:
- Design and deliver a fundraising strategy that scales ProVeg’s income from major donors, climate (and other relevant) foundations, and institutional funders.
- Identify and pursue new revenue streams aligned with our climate and food system mission.
Collaborate with leadership to strengthen our theory of change, donor engagement frameworks, and funding cases.
Donor & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate and steward relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations, corporate contacts and strategic partners.
- Represent ProVeg in donor meetings and high-level external events.
- Support the Senior Leadership Team and President in managing key donor relationships.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and grow the international fundraising function to increase income, capacity, and global reach.
- Drive team culture and performance, fostering professional development and a focus on measurable outcomes.
Cross-Organisational Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Communications, Programme, Finance, MEL, and Country teams to strengthen our fundraising infrastructure, materials, and processes.

Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of senior-level fundraising experience, ideally with major donors and foundations in the US and/or Europe.
- Proven track record of securing six-figure + gifts, including new donor acquisition and multi-year commitments.
- Deep understanding of the climate philanthropy and/or food system transformation space.
- Experience working in international NGOs or with cross-country fundraising collaboration.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills across sectors and cultures.
- Strong writing and proposal development skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable building systems, not just managing them.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (minimum C2-level English).
- Strong analytical skills and experience measuring the success of fundraising activities.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with effective altruism and impact-led giving.
- Comfortable engaging in discussions around equity, justice, and sustainability in fundraising contexts.

Assisting in the overall smooth running of the Finance department and the production of its outputs, you’ll have particular responsibility for the financial management of a key part of the organisation: Greenpeace Environmental Trust (GET), a registered charity. Job requirements
What we're looking for:

ACCA/ACA/CIMA or other chartered accounting qualification (or Finalist).

Proven experience in a finance function in a hands-on role, including working proactively to improve and/or set up and manage effective financial processes.

This post is advertised as an exciting opportunity for an experienced Advice Session Supervisor (ASS) to consolidate their skills and experience or as a development opportunity for an advisor to train to become an ASS within six months of starting in post. If applying as a trainee the starting salary will be on NJC Scale 6 - £34,582 for the first six months whilst undertaking the training.

We are looking for an outstanding Senior Press Officer to work in our fast-paced press office, helping run it to the highest standard. RCS England is one of the most high-profile health commentators in the UK. You will regularly see us advocating for patients and the surgical workforce in the national press. Candidates should have experience of successfully pitching stories to national media and know what makes a good health story. You will have a fluent writing style and be confident working with senior stakeholders to brief them before interviews.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming enquiries and provide accurate, timely and appropriate responses, briefing journalists in line with RCS England key messages and priorities.
- Participate in an out-of-hours rota for media enquiries. Time off in lieu is offered for significant out-of-office hours worked.
- Research, write and distribute press releases, features, letters and other editorial material.
- Draft articles, quotes and opinion pieces on behalf of RCS England spokespeople.
- Provide press office support to the Faculty of Dental Surgery and its Dean, as required.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams)
- Knowledge of document management and team collaboration tools
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Able to communicate and engage effectively with a wide range of audiences whether by phone, email or in person
- Able to organise and coordinate all aspects of a meeting or event logistics
- Able to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively, particularly when under pressure from competing priorities
- Experience of working in an office or customer care environment in an administrative role
- You have at least 5 GCSE's (or equivalent), including Maths and English
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
- Interest in and knowledge of conservation and the natural world
Additional Information:
We will appoint 2 permanent posts combining to form 1.5 FTE administrators and are open to consideration of flexible arrangements for how this time is split between two people.
