Mondo Foundation partners with grassroots leaders in Nepal, North East India and East Africa to deliver community‑led education and livelihoods programmes. We work through established Country Teams who know their communities best and we have been funding these projects since 2004.

We are small, lean, and values‑driven. Our current UK operation includes a part‑time Bid Writer, Volunteer Coordinator and Marketer. We have an active Trustee Board who provide support and governance – but the CEO owns and delivers the strategy. 

The role

We are looking for a CEO who will own the strategy, lead the team, and drive growth – not just manage programmes. You will be responsible for:

• Strategy delivery – owning the 3‑year plan, setting direction, and adapting as opportunities arise
• Country Team relationships – weekly check‑ins with Country Managers, identifying needs for current and new projects, and opportunistically exploring new countries
• Financial management – managing the budget, processing payments (UK and FX), and overseeing Xero
• Marketing strategy – utilising social media and website to drive increased followership to the Foundation to drive new donor and volunteer growth
• Bids and fundraising strategy – owning the bid pipeline, working with the Bid Writer, and driving income raised to meet agreed financial year budget
• Volunteer strategy – owning and driving the volunteer programme (recruitment, placement, impact)
• Line management – leading the part‑time UK team (Bid Writer, Volunteer Coordinator, Marketer

What we are looking for

Essential:

AFK is a national charity whose mission is to create opportunities for children and young people who are disabled or neurodiverse, to increase their independence, reach their individual potential and remove the barriers they face.

Overall Job Purpose
The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic leadership and operational management for the charity, working closely with the Board of Trustees to deliver our mission and ensure AFK's sustainability and growth. You will lead a team of around 30 staff and volunteers, managing an annual budget of approximately £2 million.
As the visible leader of the organisation, you'll inspire and motivate the team through your presence and engagement. Working Conditions

Working Relationships
The CEO will maintain close working relationships across all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders. You'll work collaboratively with a Board of eight trustees to drive the charity's strategy forward, providing regular updates and ensuring effective governance.
You'll line manage members of the Senior Management Team, ensuring a cohesive and effective leadership group.
Building and nurturing relationships with key funders, partners, and supporters will be essential to the role. EASST is seeking an exceptional leader to build on the strong foundations EASST has laid by its outgoing founder, ensuring that the organisation’s impact continues to grow and that we remain at the forefront of road safety and sustainable mobility across the region and beyond.

The Director General functions as the Chief Executive of the charity, providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to fulfil EASST's mission and objectives.

Terms and Conditions

Overall purpose 

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Senior Team Administrator will take responsibility for managing the administrative requirements relating to the governance of the charity and of the senior staff team, and for ensuring Breaking Barriers operates efficiently as possible, ensuring that the organisation can be effective in delivering its mission.

You will have a strong knowledge of all aspects of charity administration, be able to manage a wide range of tasks, be able to work at a fast pace across all areas of Breaking Barriers’, and be able to drive new ways of working to minimise wasted time and resource, freeing up more staff time to best support our clients.

Key responsibilities 

This is a new post at Breaking Barriers. The initial key responsibilities are described below, and the role will develop according to the charity’s changing needs. 

 Governance and management

· Organise and attend quarterly board of trustee meetings, including room booking and note-taking

· Work with the Chair, CEO and other members of SLT to finalise and circulate papers for meetings with trustees

The Senior Fundraising Manager is responsible for delivering Brightside’s fundraising activity with a core focus on grants from trusts and foundations, and major donors. Salary and Package

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We are a medium sized charity supporting children and young people in Surrey and surrounding areas who have been bereaved or who are facing the bereavement of a close family member. We are the only charity in our local community providing a range of services that give the opportunity for children and families to come together in person. We know we make a difference to children and young people at a really difficult time and support them to move forward with their lives.

About the role

Our current director has had to leave for health reasons. We are seeking an exceptional and inspirational leader to focus on income generation and sustainability who shares our values of compassion, integrity and collaboration. We are aiming to reach all children and young people in our local communities who need our support through their bereavement journey . This is a broad role in an ambitious organisation with limited resources, it involves a mix of operational, strategic and external facing activities.

Main purpose of the role

Provide strategic direction by leading the senior managers across the organisation.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

- Work on behalf, and with the Board of Trustees to develop a Strategic plan to ensure the ongoing sustainability, growth and success of Jigsaw South East

- Act as a strong figurehead for the charity; a positive ambassador with our current and potential funders.

- Lead the Senior Management team.

- Lead on all aspects of income generation, with direct work on grant applications and driving diversifying income generation opportunities.

- To be a positive leader and role model for employees and volunteers.

- Promote the work of the charity to supporters, businesses and the community, representing the charity externally in raising awareness of the charity’s work and develop income generation

- With the Trustees, manage the charity effectively, ensuring that its financial security is maintained and enhanced.

- To develop and manage relationships with patrons, trustees and ambassadors and to take the lead for the AGM.

- Work with Finance and Resources Manager to deliver against budget.

This is a hands-on role to really get involved in income generation and with direct line management responsibilities.

The Seafarers’ Charity is the leading fundraising and grant‑making charity dedicated to improving the lives of seafarers and their families. For over 100 years, we have supported those who work at sea by funding vital welfare services and driving long‑term, systemic change across the maritime sector.

We are now seeking an experienced Grants Manager to lead the delivery of our annual grant‑making programme and play a key role in achieving our Thrive strategy.

About the role

Reporting to the Impact Director, the Grants Manager will manage an annual grants programme of approximately £3 million, overseeing the full grants lifecycle from application and assessment through to monitoring, evaluation and learning. You will build strong relationships with funded partners, prepare robust funding recommendations for Trustees, and ensure our grant‑making is effective, proportionate and aligned with best practice.

You will also line manage an Impact Executive (0.4 FTE) and work closely with colleagues across the organisation to share learning, evidence impact and support wider fundraising and advocacy work.

• Experience working in a charity, trust or grant‑making environment
• Proven experience managing grant programmes and the full grants lifecycle
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with confidence reviewing budgets and financial information
• Experience using grant management or CRM systems

About You

We are seeking two candidates with senior-level experience and strong governance capability. While a range of professional backgrounds will be considered, we are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in finance, IT/cyber security, legal, HR, risk, property, or communications. Experience within the hospitality sector is highly desirable. Above all, candidates must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively as Non-Executive Directors, providing independent judgement, strategic insight, and constructive challenge.

Successful candidates will be able to provide independent oversight, constructive challenge, and strategic guidance to the Board, ensuring the long-term success, sustainability, and effective governance of the company. Remuneration

The National Association of Special Schools (NASS) is the membership association for special schools in England and Wales. We bring together independent special schools, non-maintained special schools, special academies, maintained special schools and multi-academy trusts with specialist provision.

We exist to inform, support and represent our members, helping specialist schools improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND and secure the place of specialist provision within the wider education system. NASS is known for being accessible, responsive and personal, combining national influence with practical support that members value as timely, human and trustworthy.

This is a pivotal moment for the organisation. In February this year, the Department for Education published a major white paper on SEND reform which will require NASS to both influence national policy on behalf of our members and children and young people, as well as support them to navigate the changes.
