As Lead Cloud Systems Administrator, you will help drive infrastructure modernisation, automation and operational excellence across a complex technology environment, ensuring our systems are resilient, secure and scalable. The role offers the chance to lead technical initiatives, influence strategic IT improvements and support the digital capability that enables CARE’s mission-critical work.

About you

You will be an experienced cloud infrastructure or lead systems administrator with strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and hybrid environments. We are looking for someone with excellent troubleshooting, automation and security skills, including experience with Entra ID, Intune, networking, backup and disaster recovery, and PowerShell scripting. You will also bring strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to mentor others and manage competing priorities. Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps, Security+ or ITIL would be advantageous.

About the role

The Lead Cloud Systems Administrator is responsible for leading the management, optimisation and security of CARE International UK’s cloud infrastructure and enterprise systems. The role focuses on maintaining highly available and secure platforms, supporting infrastructure transformation and cloud migration activity, and ensuring effective administration of core services including Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows and Linux servers, identity services, networking, backup and disaster recovery. The postholder will work closely with the IT Manager, wider IT team and key stakeholders across the organisation, while also supporting projects, change management and technical planning.

The role requires strong technical knowledge across cloud platforms, systems administration, security and infrastructure support, alongside excellent analytical and problem-solving ability. You will need to be confident managing complex environments, improving performance through automation and standardisation, and responding effectively to incidents and vulnerabilities. Success in the role will also depend on your ability to communicate clearly, lead troubleshooting, mentor junior colleagues and take a proactive, security-first approach to continuous improvement.

Who we are

REDRESS is an international human rights organisation based in London and The Hague that pursues legal claims on behalf of survivors of torture in the UK and around the world to obtain justice and reparation for violations against their human rights. Our approach to legal claims is strategic, so that as well as representing an individual we target the policy reasons that enabled the torture to take place, by building campaigns that uses advocacy, survivor participation, and communications to influence change.

Our 2030 Strategy sets out our priorities for 2026–2030 in response to the challenges facing the anti-torture movement and our areas of expertise.

Position Profile

The main responsibilities of the role are:

UK Advocacy. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders relevant to REDRESS’ UK policy objectives, including government departments, parliamentarians, parliamentary committees, NGOs and academics. Draft written materials and briefing papers for policymakers, and respond to government enquiries and consultations, and undertake direct advocacy.

Sanctions Advocacy and APPG. Deliver REDRESS’s UK advocacy on Magnitsky sanctions and asset recovery for reparation. This includes supporting REDRESS’s role as secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Magnitsky Sanctions and Reparation and conducting advocacy to key stakeholders: the FCDO, Treasury, Home Office, parliamentarians and others.

Survivor Advisory Group. Work collaboratively with the Survivor Advisory Group to support our work with survivors and survivor communities on our policy advocacy campaigns.

Upholding the Absolute Prohibition of Torture. Support and deliver our policy advocacy work in the UK relating to other issues, such as an effective system for universal jurisdiction prosecutions, responding to threats to the absolute prohibition of torture, and responses to UK torture overseas. Conduct advocacy work related to the legal right to consular assistance and State hostage-taking.

Project Management. Manage and deliver specific project activities which include administrative tasks, budget management, planning and participating in the delivery of meetings and events, as well as other tasks related to project management.

Teamwork/Collaboration. Work collaboratively with REDRESS team members and external stakeholders, always exercising professional integrity. Supervise fellows and interns.

Representing REDRESS. Contribute to the wider needs of the organisation, including communicating REDRESS’ work to a wide array of audiences.

The position is also expected to carry out such further duties as may reasonably be required from time to time by REDRESS.  

Person Specification

Essential Competencies

The successful candidate will need to have the following essential competencies:

· At least three years relevant post-qualification professional experience. 

· Strong knowledge of how the UK Parliament and government works.

· Undergraduate degree specialised in international law, human rights, politics, international relations, or a related field.

· A solid understanding of international human rights policy issues.

· Demonstrated proficiency in policy analysis and policy writing and editing; demonstrated competence in writing for a broader public audience. 

· Experience at delivering projects and managing project budgets.

· Experience working with victims of human rights violations, survivor groups, or grassroots campaigns.

· Experience working with NGOs and other stakeholders.

· Experience in public speaking to a variety of audiences.

· Experience managing interns and volunteers.

· Fluency in written and oral English.

· Literacy in social media in a professional environment (primarily Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook).

· Willing to undertake travel within the UK. 

· An ability to work with a range of political parties.

Terms

Reporting. The position will report to a Senior Legal Advisor.

Hours. This is a part-time position at 21 hours a week. Evening and weekend work may be required from time to time.

Location. The position is based at the REDRESS office in London.

Flexible Working. REDRESS is an “in-person” organisation and we value teamwork, but we have a flexible working policy which allows for working from home. This role is currently required to be in the office one-two days a week.

Duration. The contract is for a fixed term of 12 months (maternity cover).

Start date. The position would start in September 2026.

Probation. There is a four-month probationary period. 

Pension. REDRESS offers a pension contribution of 10% of salary.

Holiday.  There are 25 days of holiday per year, in addition to UK public holidays. The office is also closed between Christmas and New Year.

Status. The candidate must have the right to live and work in the UK. Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor a UK immigration process for this role.

Interview process. We expect to do two rounds of interviews. We may ask candidates to complete a brief written test as part of the process but will provide information on that nearer the time.

· First round Interviews will take place on 7 August and will be on-line.

· Final round interview will take place on 13 August and will be in-person at our office in London.

The Education Quality Manager role leads and sets the strategic direction for the team providing support and development of academic representation at Arts SU, enabling effective voice and ensuring a better academic experience for students at UAL.

No day is the same for the Education Quality Team, but a drive to support students and enable them to challenge institutional structures is a must for anybody in this role.

JOB PURPOSE 

• To lead and set the strategic direction for the team providing support and development of academic representation at Arts SU. 
• Develop and lead ambitious plans to evaluate and develop the academic representation system at UAL, building engagement levels, impact, and visibility year on year. 

KEY RESPONIBILITIES

Leading a high performing team:

•  Provide leadership, strategic direction and day to day operational management of the Education Quality Team; motivating, supporting and developing team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge for their roles as well as manage performance. 
• Develop succession plans and identify training and development requirements within the team. 
• Develop a proactive results driven culture within the team, ensuring agreed objectives and targets are delivered, whilst promoting a collaborative approach to working with internal departments.

• Oversee the development of systems and processes for capturing, tracking, and sharing student feedback, issues and the impact of academic representation. 
• Lead the analysis of student feedback to advise and support student representatives to lobby and influence the University’s policies, procedures and practice. 
• Lead the promotion of the service within UAL, building relationships with relevant stakeholders and making it easy for staff and students to understand the purpose of the team and its work. 

Financial & Resource responsibility

• Manage a substantial Education Quality Team budget, being responsible for resources that are allocated to the department and ensuring these are effectively managed and controlled.
• Review and establish processes, systems and policies and where appropriate standard procedures for activities to maximise efficiency, ensure deadlines are met and to ensure a positive return on investment.

 Oversight & development of Academic Representation

• Manage and support Education Quality Coordinators to deliver Arts SU’s academic representation systems bringing support for representatives and innovation around student engagement. 
• Provide day-to-day management of our academic representation system, including managing relationships with UAL staff who work on this system in Colleges, Schools and Academic Quality. 
• Work to further develop our partnership with the University to establish the Education Quality Team as expert practitioners and a source of good practice on student engagement, representation, and co-production. 
• Work in partnership with staff and elected officers to deliver a holistic and high-quality academic representation system, including managing the election, training, year-round engagement and development of academic representatives and other related roles as relevant. 
• Work closely with colleagues to support and deliver successful SU elections and awards events. 

Policy & Officer support

• Lead the Education Quality Team’s work in providing comprehensive policy support to Arts SU’s Full-time Officers and School Representatives on education issues and developing effective lobbying strategies to influence the policies that impact students’ lives. 
• Support engagement in College committees and working groups by maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of representatives and staff committee responsibilities, accompanying representatives where appropriate and coordinating a system for committee briefing and de-briefing. 
• Work with colleagues to deliver high profile campaigns based on evidence and insights. 
• Work with the wider team to develop relationships with academic societies, and to develop their ability to support student representation and engagement. 
• Provide regular and structured reports or presentations to colleagues to support strategic decision making throughout Arts SU.

Role purpose

To manage the programme’s policy activity and provide support and expertise to help ensure effective delivery of the programme’s strategy to influence policy change. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the role will plan and deliver activities to help ensure Trussell’s analysis and arguments are taken up and the organisation’s policy recommendations are reflected in decisions made by UK government, in line with the programme goals.

This role is part of Trussell’s Making Social Security Work programme, the goal of which is to ensure that social security and employment support are accessible, well-designed and sufficiently funded in order to prevent people experiencing hunger and hardship, and that the UK public view social security as an asset to society. This role is focused on the successful delivery of the overall programme outcomes, contributing to the fulfilment of our long term vision of a UK without the need for food banks.

Develop credible policy proposals
 
Plan and deliver policy development activities to achieve the goals of the Making Social Security Work programme. Create credible proposals, including embedding participatory approaches to ensure policy positions are rooted in the lived experience of individuals affected by poverty, to build a strong case for policymakers to implement asks.

Manage policy influencing activities

Plan and deliver policy influencing activities to strengthen Trussell’s ability to secure policy change. This includes briefings and presentations promoting the organisation’s policy positions to external stakeholders and audiences, ensuring alignment across programmes and all nations and regions of the UK. Ensure policy outputs are timely, high-quality and support engagement with key audiences, including UK government officials and Parliamentarians.

Coordinate reactive policy work

Ensure Trussell’s policy positions are included in real-time debates on key issues. Coordinate responses to reactive work on relevant policy issues, including policy consultations, activity in Parliament, in the media or in response to requests from food banks in the Trussell community so Trussell’s voice, evidence and analysis are included in key policy debates, raising the organisation’s profile and influence.

Build stakeholder relationships and networks

About the role

As an Events Fundraiser you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of third-party challenge events, delivering marketing plans to boost participation and creating first-class stewardship journeys. You’ll be data driven, using insights and sector trends to inform improvements and highlight opportunities to grow our challenge events portfolio.

You will attend key events as required to support with on-the-day logistics and volunteer management. Please note, due to the nature of our work you will be required to attend some events and meetings which can be during weekends, early mornings or evenings.

Role Requirements

• To ensure minimum losses are incurred on goods and furniture by the careful and respectful handling of all such items.

Programme Delivery & Training:

● Inspire, train and cook with chefs, cooks and kitchen teams in the preparation of fresh, nutritious food to meet specified standards, imparting your passion for fresh, quality food and building capability across client schools in line with the Chefs in Schools model.

Transformation Programme Development:

● Support growing regional brand awareness, in partnership and alignment with the Senior Programme Manager.

● Visit potential new school clients to assess kitchens and kitchen teams (check-ins) within the region, working with the Senior Programme Manager to support proposal and pipeline development as required.

● Support the onboarding of new schools based on the outcome of check-ins conducted and proposals.

Administration & Measurement:

Essential Skills & Experience:

The Head of Delivery & Partnerships is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the

· Manage and optimise an acquisition budget, ensuring strong return on investment

2. Audience insight, segmentation & targeting

· Identify and prioritise high-value target audiences, including horticulture professionals, industry supporters and the wider public

· Develop clear audience segments and personas, based on behaviours, motivations and values

· Use CRM and campaign insight to drive targeted, personalised acquisition activity

· Ensure all activity is audience-led, insight-driven and performance-focused

3. Campaign delivery, testing & optimisation

· Lead end-to-end campaign delivery from planning through to evaluation and optimisation, working with Marketing to deliver effective branded, cross channel content.

· Implement a test-and-learn approach, continuously improving messaging and targeting

• Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including CPA,ROI and LTV
• Extend campaign lifecycles and maximise value through integrated, multi-channel planning

4. Supporter development & retention

· Design and deliver effective supporter journeys, moving individuals through a typical supporter lifecycle

· Deliver high-quality stewardship and supporter care, including welcome journeys

· Support progression into regular giving  and mid-value giving

· Lead the development of legacy giving within the fundraising programme, working closely with the Head of Fundraising to build a sustainable pipeline.

5. Content, propositions & engagement

• Lead the development and testing of fundraising propositions that clearly communicate impact, urgency and relevance to the horticulture sector

· Work with Marketing & Communications to deliver storytelling-led, conversion-focused content

· Ensure messaging is audience-specific, emotionally engaging and income-driven

6. Data, CRM & insight

• Work closely with Data/CRM colleagues to ensure accurate segmentation and data selection and develop effective campaign tracking and reporting
• Use data and insight to optimise campaign performance, enhance audience targeting and conversion rates, and increase overall supporter lifetime value.
• Ensure all fundraising activity complies with relevant regulations and standards, including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Fundraising Regulator guidance, and Gift Aid requirements.

Person Specification

Essential experience

· Proven track record of delivering successful acquisition or Individual Giving campaigns that meet income or growth targets

· Experience managing multi-channel marketing or fundraising campaigns

· Good understanding of digital acquisition and direct marketing techniques

· Experience managing budgets and analysing performance data

· Experience using CRM systems for segmentation, targeting and reporting
