Main Responsibilities of the Job

• To provide support and assistance during journeyspick up and drop of duties at the commencement and end of sessions at our day centres.

• Through partnership, support and develop peoples skills, confidence and interests as part of a multi-disciplinary day service offer.

Age UK Hammersmith and Fulham works to improve the quality of life and enhance the status and influence of older people. An experienced and talented Fundraising Manager who can develop and execute an effective fundraising strategy to deliver growth across a wide range of existing and new income streams.

Age UK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join the Finance & Corporate Services division on a maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic hybrid opportunity where you can play a key role in our financial control environment, whilst supporting work that makes a real difference to older people across the UK.

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will work alongside another SFA, supporting the Head of Financial Control and CFO to deliver accurate financial reporting and maintain strong controls across the Group and subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Accounts & Reporting
* Prepare statutory accounts for key subsidiaries and contribute to Group accounts.

* Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly and address variances proactively.

About the role:

We’re looking for passionate, proactive Young Person’s Workers to join our teams, two in Greenwich and one in Lewisham. This is a hands-on, relationship-focused role where you’ll support young people to move towards stability, independence and long-term opportunity.

Day to day, you’ll coach and motivate young people to take ownership of their goals, whilst maintaining professional boundaries and managing risk confidently. You’ll keep accurate records, review progress regularly and adapt support to reflect changing needs - always focused on sustainable outcomes.

We are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Officer to join the Public Engagement team. This role will play a vital role in raising funds from members of the public through digital channels, helping to end homelessness and rebuild lives.

St Mungo’s has ambitious growth targets in the digital space and the Senior Officer will be key in delivering a programme of work to achieve income goals and further develop the digital programme for the organisation.

The role reports to the Digital Fundraising Manager meaning there is lots of room to grow and own strategic projects. The role offers excellent cross-learning opportunities as it sits within the public engagement team which encompasses fundraising teams as well as brand and marketing.

In this role you will:

• Develop, deliver and manage email specific journeys for our online supporters with a focus on driving repeat giving from newly acquired donors and boosting lifetime value.

We’re looking for a strategic, creative and proactive public affairs professional to lead our influencing work on ageism and inequalities, including our campaign for a Commissioner for Older People and Ageing; the development of an ageing society strategy; and work to address inequalities in experiences of ageing and support those groups who need it most .

This is an exciting opportunity for an Events and Community Fundraising Executive to take responsibility for supporting the delivery of the Whizz Kidz third-party events portfolio, including the London Marathon and Great North Run, and supporting our community fundraisers to raise vital funds.

You will support our events from set up and planning, recruiting and stewarding supporters whilst maintaining an excellent level of supporter care. We are seeing a growth in the number of fundraisers, so it is an exciting time to join Team Whizz Kidz.

Key accountabilities as our Events and Community Fundraising Executive include:

• Being the first point of contact for enquiries from events participants and community fundraisers

• Able to build and develop relationships with fundraisers

• Responsible for general administrative duties such as coding income, thanking supporters and managing and maintaining accurate records on Microsoft Dynamics

• Support on event days with logistics and set up

• Support with volunteer recruitment for the London Marathon

• Produce tailored materials, e.g. fundraising packs and newsletters to motivate and support event participants.

• Work in partnership with our Whizz Kidz running coach to ensure content is received on time and to an agreed standard.

• Work and maintain third-party event platforms

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a part time governance and compliance officer to oversee our governance and risk framework as a non-profit regulated by the Charities Commission (England and Wales) and OSCR (Scotland).

You will identify, develop, maintain and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and risk mitigation with the various regulations that we must adhere to such as Charities Commission, OSCR, Fundraising Regulator, Companies House, UK Data Protection and Safeguarding.

As governance and compliance officer, you will deliver high quality, professional and compliant governance across the charity, nationally and in supporting our network of support groups (see About IA) ensuring we comply with statutory regulations, that protect our members and the charity itself while applying best practice principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and documenting a detailed understanding of charity practices, paying specific attention to areas where IA is bound by statutory regulations
• Developing robust policies and procedures that ensure charity compliance and best practice
• Remaining up to date with current regulations that IA is bound by and ensuring any changes are implemented within any imposed deadlines
• Regularly review and maintain policies and procedures auditing your findings to ensure exemplary record keeping following up with implementing changes
• Implementing policies and procedures amongst staff, volunteers and the Board of Trustees with robust record keeping introducing governance cycles to keep everyone updated with current policy and communicating changes where necessary
• Identifying risks, recommending mitigating actions and reporting your findings to the management team and Board of Trustees

PERSON SPECIFICATION

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE 

• Demonstrable experience of at least 12m in governance and risk management within a not for profit environment with working knowledge of UK charity regulations. Exceptional candidates from a commercial background would be considered

Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is an East London charity providing practical help, support and training to people who have been homeless and suffering from addiction. We run a Housing First project, a Recovery Hub (which includes an abstinence-based residential recovery accommodation, a Therapeutic Recovery Programme and Continuing Care), supported housing and two social enterprises supporting people in recovery from addictions to put their lives back together. Role and Responsibilities:

Management:

• To manage the day-to-day running of the coffee-shop and line manage the team of 2 paid staff and several volunteers.
• To manage and motivate the team (including: hiring, performance management, training and recognition duties)

The Prospect Researcher plays a key role in supporting high-value fundraising efforts by identifying, analysing, and prioritising potential donors, trusts, and foundations aligned with the Charity’s mission. Through in-depth research and insight generation, the post holder will build a strong, actionable pipeline of prospects, enabling personalised engagement strategies for the Philanthropy Team. Working collaboratively across the Engagement Team, the Prospect Researcher will provide intelligence that shapes cultivation plans, provides insights that supports strategic conversations at events, monitors giving trends, and ensures all prospect activity is data-informed, ethical, and compliant. This role is vital to driving sustainable income growth and deepening the Charity’s reach within the philanthropic community.

Prospect Identification and Research

The Employee Relations Team is a vital part of our HR department, supporting managers across the organisation with matters including conduct, capability, absence, redundancy and a wide range of other employee relations topics.  Financial oversight, planning, and reporting

Review all financial transactions related to the ADB project on a monthly basis and ensure that they are correct including cost recovery, co-financing, bank balances, and coding.

Ensure the ADB project is up to date in the Grant Management Tracker, Co-financing Tracker and Cost Recovery forecast.

Prepare financial information for internal reporting, including contributions to quarterly CEO reports, monthly dashboards, and co-finance updates.

Prepare all ADB project donor financial reports and ensure consistency with internal data.

Prepare and submit other donor financial reports as required.

Monitor project and portfolio spending, flagging significant under & overspends in a timely manner to the Programme Finance Manager and Programmes & Partnerships team.

 Financial controls, compliance, and audit

Lead financial planning and monitoring for the ADB project, ensuring alignment with ADB compliance requirements and AKF(UK) internal controls.

Support the design and implementation of quality controls, manuals, checklists, and tools to ensure compliance with donor requirements (ADB and others).

Oversee compliance with donor and AKF(UK) rules on procurement, accounting, and project expenditure, supported by reporting, engagement with the field, and spot checks.

Maintain internal tools (including AIMS) to track active ADB grants as well as other grants, ensuring data on secured funding, cost recovery, and cash balances remains up to date.

Prepare for and support donor and statutory audits, with particular responsibility for the ADB project while also contributing to audits of other grants.

Maintain an up-to-date audit and disallowance tracker for the ADB project, while supporting the Programme Finance Manager in tracking audit issues across all grants.

Troubleshoot donor compliance or procurement queries, with emphasis on ADB but extending to other donor portfolios where needed.

Act as a resource person for ADB donor compliance within AKF(UK), while sharing knowledge and lessons learned more widely across the grants portfolio.

Support wider Programme Finance team capacity-building efforts, drawing on insights from ADB donor requirements and practices.

Grant financial management

In close consultation with the programmes & partnerships team:

Maintain accurate financial records and grant codes for the ADB project, while supporting the set-up and management of other grants as needed.
Ensure timely submission of cash requests and sub-grant agreements, in compliance with both ADB and AKF(UK) standards, and support the same across the wider portfolio.

Review budgets for ADB and other donor concepts/proposals, ensuring inclusion of AKF(UK) costs, compliance with donor requirements, and consistency with narratives.

Support the in-country project management unit (PMU) to ensure that the project is robustly managed and proactively support the resolution of challenges as they arise.

Provide training and reference materials for implementing partners and field staff on ADB-specific donor regulations, procurement, and reporting, while contributing to broader finance training across the organisation.

Provide technical support and guidance to implementing partners and country units, with particular focus on ADB compliance but also assisting with other donor requirements as needed.

Conduct monitoring visits and spot checks on the ADB project and participate in risk monitoring across the wider portfolio.

Collaborate with the assigned Senior Partnerships Manager to align financial management with programme delivery.
