About Working Well Trust

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.

We are now recruiting for a role providing focused, time-limited information, advice and guidance to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, supporting them to return to, remain in, or move towards employment, with a particular focus on engaging those facing multiple and intersecting barriers to work.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing a varied caseload of clients, providing tailored information, advice and guidance to support their employment goals
• Working collaboratively with clients to identify their individual needs and the level of support required
• Developing clear, realistic Action Plans with clients, and reviewing these regularly to reflect progress and changing circumstances
• Supporting clients to address workplace challenges, helping them to return to work, remain in employment, or secure new roles
• Monitoring and tracking progress towards agreed employment outcomes, ensuring support remains focused and effective
• Enabling access to wider opportunities such as training, education, volunteering and other development pathways
• Making appropriate referrals to external services and partner organisations to ensure holistic support for clients

We are an established and well-regarded local charity, providing crisis support and ongoing counselling to young people experiencing mental health challenges in the London borough of Richmond. As a Community Fundraiser working locally, you'll have living and/or working knowledge of the London Borough of Richmond in order to develop and manage successful fundraising relationships with local businesses and community groups, build and nurture a network of local philanthropists and individual donors and plan and deliver fundraising activities at local fairs, events, and community initiatives.

Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be invaluable when recruiting, motivating and managing volunteers to support fundraising activities and in delivering high-quality stewardship to supporters, maintaining regular contact through updates, thank you letters, and calls.

Aims and scope of the post

The aim of this post is to ensure sound financial management to support the organisation’s ongoing charitable work. The Finance Manager is responsible for CT’s financial strategy, timely and accurate financial administration, maintenance of financial and management accounts, as well as cash flow, stock control, payroll and pension.

Responsibilities and tasks

Budgeting and forecasting

• Produce annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and scenario models for the organisation budget.
• Support budget forecasting for project tenders, ensuring due diligence and financial viability.

Reporting

• Produce quarterly management accounts, including variance reports, analysis by income streams, and cashflow forecasts.
• Prepare and present financial reports for the quarterly board meetings and biannual audit committee meeting.
• Produce minutes of the audit committee meetings and contribute to the minutes of board meetings.
• Complete statutory reporting to Companies House, the Charity Commission and HMRC.
• Submit the relevant reports to funders to ensure timely receipt of grant payments.

Financial management

• Process supplier invoices and carry out twice-monthly payment runs.
• Raise customer invoices for consultancy work, licensing agreements, training, and other income due.
• Carry out credit control for overdue customer invoices.
• Manage payroll, including monthly payments to HMRC, payroll year end, and pension contributions.

Colorectal Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist

Job Summary for Colorectal Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist

In our Services team we aim to deliver clear and accessible support offer for people affected by a bowel cancer diagnosis through a clinically focused ‘front door’ of services. The post holder will work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead to deliver a strategy which will extend our reach to bowel cancer patients and establish referral routes from the NHS into our services.

As our Clinical Nurse Specialist you will work on the Charities Ask the Nurse Service alongside other specialist nurses. This is our service for patients to ask questions or concerns about bowel cancer. You will be responsible answering queries from those affected by bowel cancer and managing and developing the service.

You will work closely with the Clinical Lead to ensure Bowel Cancer UK’s clinical focus meets the needs of those affected by bowel cancer and is up to date. You will also provide expert clinical advice, with guidance of the Clinical Lead, across all areas of Bowel Cancer UK - including health professional education, policy, communications and fundraising equipping them with timely health system and clinical information.

Main responsibilities

• Support the Clinical Lead on, development, delivery and effective implementation of our core clinical (nurse led) services offer (Ask The Nurse service).
• Support the Clinical Lead on ensuring sound clinical governance across our clinical services.
• Manage our engagement and support offer to healthcare professionals to develop our networks and establish referral pathways from the NHS into our services.
• Provide expert clinical advice and opinion to programmes across the charity as required including input into health information content, media enquiries and clinical queries from patients.

Are you passionate about turning supporter generosity into sustained income that helps people with a learning disability live their lives to the full? Do you have experience running multi-channel fundraising campaigns and using data to improve performance? If so, we have a role for you to impact our growing Individual Giving programme.

We are looking for a Senior Individual Giving Officer to join our Public Fundraising team at Mencap. You will lead the planning and delivery of acquisition and retention campaigns across cash, lottery, regular giving, value exchange, raffle and payroll giving channels, working across face to face, direct mail, email, digital and telephone. You will work closely with colleagues in Legacy, Wills and Trusts, Community Fundraising and Challenge Events to deliver joined up supporter journeys that increase lifetime value and broaden our audience reach. Reporting to the Senior Individual Giving Manager, you will play a key part in delivering our Mencap 2030 strategy.

This is a permanent, full‑time position. We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements, with a requirement to attend our London office for a minimum of two days per week. Occasional travel within the UK may also be required.

What you will do

· Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of direct marketing campaigns, including campaign schedules, briefs, copywriting, data checks, print and postage processing, finance processing and stakeholder management.

· Manage campaign budgets, monitor KPIs and report on performance, delivering activity on time and to a high standard.

· Build and manage complex data selections and automated email journeys, supporting the roll out of our new CRM and using insight to improve targeting and results.

· Keep the supporter at the heart of the journey by creating authentic, compelling stories and personalised donor journeys that drive repeat giving, upsell and cross sell.

We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Senior Support Worker to join our Learning Disabilities Social Care Service in Kensington and Chelsea. No personal care required, just the right values.

£30,969.00 per annum, working 40 hours per week.
