Architects play a crucial role in our society. They design the buildings and environments where we live and work. The Architects Registration Board (ARB) is the professional regulator of architects. We maintain a Register to protect the public, so that anyone using an architect’s services, or a building designed by an architect, can be reassured that the design has been developed by an appropriate expert. 

The successful applicant will be a key member of the Qualifications Team, helping to deliver a rigorous cycle of quality assurance for educational standards and the prescription (recognition) of qualifications required to become an architect in the UK.This includes processing applications for a prescription from a variety of institutions, drafting comprehensive advisory notes, seeking clarifications from schools and presenting decision-critical papers to the Board for approval. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the prescription process and our workflow systems.

The Role

The Project Manager is an adept and organised professional, esteemed within the nuclear policy community for their level. Responsible for overseeing a discrete package of work, they must demonstrate a clear understanding and alignment with broader programme goals, strategies, and objectives. The role will report to the Programme Manager.

Taking charge of project deliverables, the Project Manager will navigate the entire project cycle, from generating fundraising ideas to developing them further and building knowledge of funding relationships. The role will also include deputising for the Programme Manager during periods of absence, ensuring continuity of delivery, external engagement, and team support as required.

The Project Manager will take responsibility for the South Asia portfolio under the Responsibilities and Global Governance (RGG) Programme. The RGG Programme works to strengthen global security by supporting the development of responsible governance frameworks for weapons and dual-use technologies in cross-cutting operational domains. Under the South Asia portfolio, the RGG Programme has facilitated research and dialogue with the Indian and Pakistani nuclear policy communities with a focus on regional crisis prevention, management, and de-escalation practices.

The Project Manager should possess a solid understanding of global security and conflict resolution and a deep understanding and demonstrable knowledge of military security dynamics in South Asia, coupled with a proven ability to design and execute high-quality project management and research. The ideal candidate is an established researcher with a specialisation in nuclear weapons issues and South Asia. As the candidate will be expected to facilitate India-Pakistan nuclear dialogues, it is important that they will show an ability to engage impartially with all parties.

It is expected that the Project Manager will have solo authored, policy relevant, publications. The Project Manager should possess the skills to expand their network in their area of specialisation, benefiting BASIC, and be capable of line managing other team members within their project. 

This role necessitates a formal project or programme management qualification – BASIC will provide the Project Manager with such training and qualifications if they do not already possess one. The Project Manager will collaborate with their line manager to identify a professional development plan, closing skills gaps and aspiring to become an internationally respected leader in their field.

You will have at least two years' experience providing welfare rights advice and housing casework and have up-to -date knowledge of welfare benefits and housing law, especially relating to Disabled adults.  Your role will be to identify potential income maximisation and provide the support needed to get benefits correctly assessed, and assisting with appeals as well as supporting Disabled people with housing support, including homelessness prevention measures.  You will work in a holistic way, managing and holding complex cases and advocating for clients across statutory services, specialist advice partners and community organisations.

In this role you will oversee identity, security, compliance, collaboration tools and core platform services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID and Intune. You will shape architectural decisions, set engineering standards and provide day to day leadership to engineers and administrators who maintain the tenancy.

Responsibilities

· Lead the technical delivery of the CadetNET Microsoft 365 tenancy across its full lifecycle.

· Develop the CadetNET platform strategy in line with CDS product strategy.

· Provide day-to-day leadership for the M365 Squad, setting priorities.

· Oversee the architecture of the CadetNET tenancy, including identity, security, networking, governance, and compliance.

· Work closely with the Product Owner to shape roadmaps, migration plans, and phased onboarding of cadet forces and user cohorts.

· Lead technical decision-making on tenant configuration, identity models, device management, security tooling, and information protection.

· Ensure compliance with MOD standards for security, accreditation, data protection, and Secure by Design.

· Establish and maintain platform standards for configuration, automation, documentation, and operational support.

· Oversee tenant configuration, user onboarding, domain management, and service configuration for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, and Intune.

· Represent the M365 platform in wider CDS technical, security, and architecture forums.

Who We're Looking For 

• Teaching qualification (PTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE/Assessor Award or equivalent). 

• Level 3+ qualification in a relevant construction trade. 

• Understanding of Ofsted regulated programmes (Study Programmes, AEB, Apprenticeships). 

• Experience teaching or supporting young people in vocational/education settings. 

• Recent industry experience in plastering, painting & decorating, or similar.

This is an exciting time for the Trust as we are in the second year of our ambitious NLHF funded activity plan.  You will be providing support for the volunteer journey from recruitment and onboarding, to role support across all areas of volunteer activity in the park.

This role will be key to supporting the ongoing development of our volunteering programme and ensuring that the correct processes are followed, volunteers and schools/learning groups have the information they need, resourcing is at appropriate levels and rooms, and equipment is booked as needed. 

You will work as part of the Content, Learning and Engagement team, line managed by the Senior Volunteering Manager.

The role is offered on a one-year fixed term contract with Crystal Palace Park Trust. Any extension is subject to funding.
