Resource Mobilisation Team 

The Resource Mobilisation team at the Good Ancestor Movement helps liberate and steward financial flows in service of justice, reparation, and systemic change. The team works with wealth holders, funders, and movement partners to design values-aligned redistribution strategies, manage pooled funding vehicles, and co-create tools and practices that shift the culture of wealth. Our work includes grant and investment operations, grantee relationship support, community learning, and strategic resourcing design rooted in equity and care.

About Your Role

As a Resource Mobilisation Lead you will join our Resource Mobilisation team at Good Ancestor Movement in an exciting time for our organisation’s growth. You will be working closely with Kiki Mager, Director of Resource Mobilisation, although you will be working alongside our entire team and contribute to the organisation’s bold aims and ambitions within your role. 

After having run 5 cohorts of our political education journey Reimagining Wealth, we launched a trial community of practice for wealth holders collectivising them around a pledge to redistribute. This community of practice is called Catalytic Collective and includes a pooled resourcing vehicle, the Roots Fund, to which members commit funds which are then being redistributed through a participatory governance model, the Accountability Circle, led by movement leaders. We have just completed our first pilot year of this resourcing vehicle including the release of our first round of 3-year funding commitments. To ensure the ongoing feasibility of this vehicle we are looking for a passionate new team member to tend to the ongoing development and scaling of this work.

The Catalytic Collective, Accountability Circle and Roots Fund formed in response to findings of a research and report that we commissioned with Decolonising Economics into Resourcing the Solidarity Economy. This report is the bedrock for our emergent resourcing vehicle and wider organising of wealth holders around wealth redistribution and stewardship practices centred in collective liberation. It also informs our educational programmes, our consultancy offerings and Transformative Investment Practice development.

As our Resource Mobilisation Lead, you will primarily support the management and ongoing development of our resourcing vehicle with Catalytic Collective (CC), the Accountability Circle (AC), the Solidarity Partners (SP) receiving funds and our wider wealthholder community. Your roles here will include: 

• Liaison with our fiscal host Social Change Nest and ensuring processes and grantees (‘Solidarity Partners’) experiences are in alignment with our mission and intentions. 

• Relationship management and primary contact for Solidarity Partners 

• Leading the development and/or fine tuning of a grant management system (GMS) to improve oversight and streamline processes together with one of our movement partners and manage the GMS once implemented, particularly as the number of grants mobilised will increase.

• Supporting the AC with admin related tasks like the scheduling of meetings, direction on discussion points and the refinement of their own governance. 

• Administering CC agreements and resourcing commitments including confirming & signing funding agreements with CC members, sending out reminders about funding cycle renewal and exploring approaches to open up the resourcing pool for wider funders to contribute as a one-off without being a CC member.

• Notice, reflect on and feed into ongoing learning and development around the processes and systems in place and what might we need to consider to further improve these in alignment with our vision and mission. 

• Manage the process of mobilising resources from our wider wealth holder community and others to commit boldly.

• Support with story telling proposition and narrative pieces to support building momentum around the resourcing vehicle 

Alongside this workstream, you will also: 

• Steward our Capital Campaigns process to support ad hoc relational and strategic resource mobilisation opportunities meeting needs of aligned organisations in the new and regenerative economy space. 

• Contribute to ideation and creation of tools and practices that further activate and guide wealth holders and wealth advisors in their journeys towards just transition aligned redistribution and stewardship practices.

The South East Asia (SEA) team works toward an end to the death penalty in the region. Terms

This is a full-time role on a permanent contract.  The annual salary is £52,088 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 40% of their working hours from the London office and the rest of the week from home. • Providing face to face and online advice, assessment, brief and structured interventions to help clients achieve their recovery goals, using motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioural approaches

You will be expected to be able to work from home thereby having the space for a confidential setting whilst also being able to travel within the region to attend events and offer localised in person support as required.

Job Summary: 

The Corporate & Events Fundraiser will help to drive income for the organisation through the effective planning, delivery and operation of CRASH’s growing Corporate Patron programme and event portfolio. 

This is a pivotal role in enabling CRASH to achieve its goals – helping developing relationships with new and long-term corporate patrons. Communicating the organisation’s work to build lasting relationships and future support. It is an important role as one of the first points of contact for CRASH, both internally and externally. 

Reporting to the Corporate Partnership Manager, the Corporate and Events Fundraiser will be responsible for driving engagement, loyalty and income through innovative corporate patron fundraising activities and events.

Key Responsibilities 

1. Corporate Patrons  

• Ensure excellent stewardship of existing and new corporate donors, working with the Corporate Fundraising Manager to create innovative strategies to generate high levels of loyalty and commitment, fostering and enhancing their long-term relationship with the charity. This includes organising bi-annual meetings. 

• Produce annual Corporate Patrons Social Impact Reports. 

• Organise dates for lunch and learn presentations with Corporate Patrons. 

• Lead of fundraising campaigns such as Big March and Christmas Campaign. These campaigns aim to achieve an income target set annually. 

• Work with colleagues to ensure that any potential corporate patrons are communicated with and are developed to their fullest potential. 

2. Events / Award Evening  

• Organising and managing CRASH Events whilst promoting the charity's cause and engaging with attendees and volunteers. 

• Support Corporate Patrons with their fundraising initiatives provide materials. QR codes and guidance on Just Giving platforms. 

• Manage the Run for Charity Relationships. Draft content and communications to promote running events. Manage relationships with individuals participating in fundraising runs to ensure their needs are met and encourage continued support. 

• Manage the attendance at Award Evenings preparing for attendance at award evenings and charitable collections which may include securing raffle prizes from Corporate Patrons. This may be outside of working hours, and you will receive time off in lieu to compensate. 

• Recruiting volunteers from Corporate Patrons for regular events and award evenings. 

• Ensure events are delivered to a high standard of safety, accessibility, participant experience and financial success.

3. Finance  

• Acknowledge corporate patron donations, attending cheque presentations and photo opportunities as necessary, working with Marketing and Communications Manager to generate positive media coverage. 

• Ensure the monthly management of all income is recorded and reconciled accurately and promptly on Access database. 

• Ensure Gift Aid claims are completed and submitted after each CRASH event working in collaboration with the Finance Manager. 

4. General  

• Ensure Fundraising Calendar and activities are up to date on the website 

• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure regular and engaging content to promote fundraising activity and initiatives. 

• Utilising ACT Database, maintain an accurate record of supporter details and activity ensuring they receive relevant and timely communication resulting in ongoing fundraising opportunities and development of long-term support 

• To be aware of and adhere to the Institute of Fundraising Codes of Conduct and Codes of Best Practice. 

• To have up to date knowledge, understanding and compliance of GDPR regulations including the handling and protecting personal data in accordance with GDPR guidelines 

• To represent the charity publicly when required. 

• Ad-hoc travel to project visits, events and Corporate Patron meetings.

Fundraising & income generation 

· Trusts & grants: Research, write, and submit compelling funding applications to trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies to secure new and repeat funding.

· Corporate & individual giving: Work alongside Service Delivery Manager and Deputy Service Manager to develop relationships with corporate sponsors and individual donors, creating engagement opportunities.

Essential skills & experience

· Fundraising knowledge: Understanding of trust, foundation, and corporate fundraising, with proven experience of writing successful grant applications.

Length and Salary

This is a full-time role on a two-year fixed-term contract. We expect the role to run for the duration of our current Mass Engagement strategy and will review future resourcing in line with organisation priorities and future plans. The annual salary is £42,193 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 40% of their working hours from the London office and the rest of the week from home.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the People & Culture function and line manage the People Operations and Systems Manager. This is a hands-on and strategic leadership role, requiring both operational HR excellence and the ability to drive cultural change.
 
Key Responsibilities

About You

• Proven senior HR leadership experience at Head of or equivalent level.
• Strong expertise managing complex employee relations matters.
• Demonstrable experience leading EDI strategy and initiatives (including knowledge of the Equality Act 2010).
• A track record of building high-performance cultures and driving employee engagement.
• Experience designing and implementing performance management frameworks.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organisational levels.
• Strong project management capability with the ability to deliver multiple initiatives end-to-end.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the resilience to operate in a dynamic environment.

Desirable:

What could my day look like?

The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.

In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.

As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.
