We are looking for an experienced, proactive and creative fundraiser to support the growth of Sands’ Individual Giving and Legacy programme, including committed gifts, cash appeals, supporter acquisition and retention. Experience of using digital channels to grow income from supporters and creating exceptional donor experience are a key to this role.  

The Individual Giving Manager role is part of the establishment of the newly formed Individual Giving strategy, driving development of both acquisition and retention channels and establishing growth within both, while improving overall supporter experience. For over 15 years, Scotty's Little Soldiers has been supporting children and young people who have been bereaved of a parent who served in the British Armed Forces.We are about to embark on an exciting journey which will see the charity evolve to support anyone affected by a military-connected bereavement and ultimately empower a community of more than 25,000 bereaved individuals and their families by 2035. 

Founded in 2010 by Nikki Scott following the death of her husband, Corporal Lee Scott, the charity currently offers a unique blend of emotional, practical, and educational support to over 750 young people.

Role Mission. 

We’re on a mission to connect with thousands more bereaved military families and that starts with storytelling.We believe that ‘social’ media is in the past and what is needed today is ‘interest’ media – great content that engages its target audience has the potential to reach more people than a high follow count.As Content Creator, you’ll be our expert in creating great content, capturing the emotion, personality, and purpose behind everything we do. 

This is a fast-paced, highly proactive role focused on creating short-form video and photo content for social media. You’ll attend events, follow team members in action, and use your creative instincts to turn everyday moments into compelling content that resonates with our unique audience. We’re not looking for slick corporate videos, we want quick-turnaround, on-brand, authentic content that stops the scroll and builds trust. 

The key responsibilities of this role are:  

Content Creation 

• Film and edit short-form video content (e.g. Instagram Reels, TikToks, Stories etc) for use across Scotty’s social channels. 

• Capture and edit photography when needed, particularly from in-person events and outreach activity, often on the go. 

• Work proactively to identify and attend opportunities to film team members and events (e.g. corporate talks, family days, community activity). 

• Jump on relevant trends and moments, adapting them to fit the tone, audience, and sensitivity of our cause. 

• Create great content which will educate or entertain our target audiences (within the bereaved military community). 

Editing & Tools 

• Use tools like CapCut, Canva, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, or iPhone editing apps to deliver content quickly and efficiently. 

• Add subtitles, basic transitions, music, and graphics where appropriate, always with accessibility and brand in mind. 

• Maintain an organised archive of content and assets for reuse across campaigns. 

• Work closely with the Social Media & Marketing Exec to provide platform-ready content.

Planning & Collaboration 

• Collaborate with the Head of Outreach and Social Media & Marketing Executive to contribute to the content calendar and plan campaigns inline with goals. 

• Bring creative ideas to the table and take initiative in spotting content opportunities. 

• Work to brand guidelines while retaining creative flexibility, balancing tone, authenticity, and audience sensitivity. 

The 30-day goals for this role are: 

• Built a deep understanding of Scotty’s mission, our audience, the services we provide, and strategic direction. 

• Conduct a full audit of the charities existing assets, tools and equipment.  

• Alongside the Head of Outreach and the Social Media & Marketing Exec demonstrate a strong understanding of the Scotty’s tone of voice and our marketing philosophy.

• Agreed key performance measures and personal success measures with Head of Outreach. 

• Attend and capture at least one live in-person event or activity and turn it into usable, on-brand content. 

The 60-day goals for this role are: 

• Delivering consistent, high-quality, creative content reflecting Scotty’s mission and resonating with our target audiences.

• Actively contribute to creative campaign ideas and planning. 

• Effectively repurposing existing content to meet current needs. 

• Working confidently on the go, managing own calendar and movements to capture relevant content across the team. 

• Maintaining an organised archive and has ownership of all video content at the charity. 

The 90-day goals for this role are: 

• Recognised as the go-to team member for on-brand, authentic, video or photo content.

• Demonstrating impact through content, using key performance metrics to evidence success in collaboration with the Social Media & Marketing Exec.

What You’ll Need to Succeed 

Must Have 

• A strong portfolio or clear examples of short-form social content (video and/or photography), with clear results. 

• Proven ability to create mobile-first content using tools such as CapCut, Canva, InShot, or similar. 

• Confidence working independently and proactively, capturing content without needing detailed briefs. 

• Strong visual judgement and understanding of what works on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. 

• High emotional intelligence and the ability to work sensitively and respectfully with content involving bereavement and military families. 

• Willingness and ability to travel within the UK for events and activities (with flexibility around occasional evenings or weekends). 

• A genuine passion for Scotty’s mission and a desire to tell real, human stories that matter. 

Nice to Have 

• Familiarity with accessibility best practice (e.g. subtitles, clear visuals, inclusive framing). 

• Experience capturing content in live or fast-moving environments (events, community settings).

Role Description

This position plays a pivotal part in GovAI's future success — if staff are distracted by bureaucracy or have a poor experience with our internal processes, our impact as an organization suffers. Your role is to help ensure that people operations runs smoothly and efficiently.

You'll execute people operations processes from onboarding through ongoing employee support, making sure that staff have an excellent experience and that all compliance requirements are met. You'll report to the People Ops Manager, and work closely with other members on the team.

Salary and Location

This position is full-time. Our offices are located in London, UK, and we strongly prefer team members to be based here, but are open to individuals who would need to work remotely in exceptional cases. We are able to sponsor UK visas.

The People Ops Associate will be compensated in line with our salary principles. As such, the salary for this role will depend on the successful applicant's experience, but we expect the range to be between £66,000 (~$88,000) and £80,000 (~$108,000) if based in London. About the Spokesperson Network

The Spokesperson Network trains and supports people to speak on television and radio. We are substantially boosting the number of progressive, diverse voices in this space to challenge opposition narratives and boost coverage of underrepresented issues.

The programme works by training, coaching and providing PR booking support for spokespeople from civil society working on social, environmental and economic issues. So far we’ve had over 11,000 high-profile media bookings including Question Time, Newsnight, Good Morning Britain, LBC, Channel 4 News, BBC 5 Live, Today, Sky News and ITV News plus many more.

What you will be doing

Here are the key responsibilities of this role:

• Run two Scotland-based Spokesperson Network Trainings
• Keep on top of the current trends and topics in the Scottish media and political environment
• Seek to book the spokespeople who have been trained into the media - with expectations of providing each person trained with ongoing media opportunities
• Support on the Spokesperson Network more widely - booking people into the UK-wide media.
• Be a key part of the Comms Hub - helping with other peoples projects, delivering training and bringing insight and ideas to team spaces.
• Play an active part in the whole NEON team, contributing to organisation-wide plans

Who you are:

• Experience in journalism, communications, media relations or a role that incorporates these skills.
• A great knowledge of the Scottish media and campaigning environment

Hours

Full-time, which for NEON is 28 hours a week - the equivalent of a 4 day standard work week. This can be done over 4 or 5 days, that’s totally up to you. Hours are generally flexible, with some core meetings everyone has to be at.

For a charity in London, we're recruiting an interim Strategics Project Accountant to focus on delivering a portfolio of key finance projects over a 6-month period to strengthen financial management and support strategic decision-making. This role focuses on high-profile strategic finance projects to ensure strong financial governance, improved systems and processes, and robust financial analysis across fund accounting, investment appraisals, and the implementation of improved finance tools and methodologies.

Main Duties:

• Delivery of Strategic Finance Projects: lead and deliver a programme of high-priority finance projects, ensuring delivery and engagement to a range of stakeholders

The role:

You will work closely with your team to monitor research grants, overseeing the development and implementation of the impact framework.  As the Research Manager you will play a key role in shaping the approach to impact analysis evaluation, dissemination and stakeholder engagement.  You will also have the opportunity to contribute to workshops and co-author publications.  At predetermined times of the year, you may be also asked to contribute to the peer review process and drafting of feedback to funding applicants.

Science shows what we all know, that the bond between a child and their family is vital for their development. Decades of evidence proves that orphanages harm children, subjecting them to high levels of abuse, as well as extreme neglect. Children always belong in families. They need protection, encouragement, play, laughter and love. They need somewhere to call home and someone to love them. You can help us make this a reality for children.
 
Salary: £60,000 to £65,000 per annum, including any London weighting if applicable.
Location: Remote working with monthly travel to the London or Salisbury office for meetings, or office based with flexible and home-working options for part of the week.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.

Overall Purpose
 
The Influencing Project Manager will work as part of a flexible team to develop, lead and manage the stakeholder engagement, influencing and communications elements of the Volunteering for Health programme.
 
Volunteering for Health is a £10million learning programme focused on testing, building and growing healthcare volunteering infrastructure. The programme has invested in fifteen systems across England who are navigating complex health systems to ensure that volunteering is embedded as a system wide NHS asset.
 
The team is responsible for developing and delivering the ‘learning and support’ and the ‘influencing and communications’ elements of the national programme, in partnership with NHS England and CW .
 
We have reached an exciting stage where we can turn our local learning into national change. By using the inspiring stories and impact from our programme, we want to show healthcare leaders what is possible. We are positioning our learnings to prove that volunteering infrastructure is a vital solution for a modern and sustainable health service aligned to the NHS 10-year Health Plan.
 
Overall Objectives

• Work collaboratively and strategically with a wide range of stakeholders including our member charities, NHS Trusts, VCSE organisations, funders, and government officials.
• Develop compelling narratives and high impact campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences and mobilise stakeholders at every level.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

• Convene and engage stakeholders, including member charities, NHS trusts and employees, funders and evaluators, to co-produce plans collaboratively.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
• Provide support to funded partnerships, enabling their development and to become high performing.
• Represent the organisation externally, acting as a champion for NHS Charities Together and NHS charities.

• Lead learning events, and convene stakeholders to support the capture of insight.
• Support in the development of insight and related policy positions in relation to initiatives being managed, working closely with policy colleagues to identify system gaps and potential solutions.
• Ensure projects contribute to learning, including supporting the dissemination of what works and how to scale successful approaches.
