Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery of Wellbeing House Service: Deliver the Wellbeing House service to individuals accessing the service, guided by the Leadership and Management Team, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
2. Collaborative Partnership: Work in partnership with Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams within the NHS and counselling services within S&G Mind to develop and implement referral, assessment, and outcome pathways within specified timeframes for people experiencing acute emotional distress and/or self-harm and self-injury.
3. Person-Centered Support Provision: Provide person-centered support to individuals accessing the service, conducting assessments to identify strengths, co-producing clear and achievable goals, and implementing safety planning strategies to promote well-being.
4. Health and Safety Maintenance: Take responsibility for maintaining health and safety standards within the Wellbeing House, including cleaning and upkeep to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for people accessing our service.
5. Promotion and Networking: Actively promote the Alexandra Wellbeing House service by engaging with external stakeholders, raising awareness of the service, and strengthening existing relationships to ensure broader community engagement and support.
6. Facilitation of Therapeutic Groups: Set up and lead groups aimed at improving mental health and well-being within Alexandra Wellbeing House, fostering a supportive environment for individuals to share experiences, learn coping skills, and build resilience.
7. ICT Systems Management: Utilise ICT systems appropriately and ensure adherence to high internal standards of data recording, in accordance with organisational policies and procedures, to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
8. Creating a Welcoming Environment: Participate in fostering a welcoming, friendly, and empowering atmosphere within the service, ensuring that individuals accessing the service feel valued, respected, and supported throughout their interactions.

Release is seeking to appoint a Supervising Solicitor for Community Care— with genuine flexibility for part‑time or full‑time working — to help shape and expand our legal services at the intersection of social justice and community care law.

This role is particularly well‑suited to candidates seeking reduced hours, portfolio careers, or a position that allows for balance alongside caring responsibilities, or other commitments. The successful candidate will join a values‑driven organisation delivering high‑quality casework, innovative community‑based legal services, and strategic litigation aimed at systemic change.

Person Specification

Essential

• Minimum 4 years + post qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate, and
• Minimum 3 years + substantial experience in legal aid casework, supervision and/or compliance, and
• Minimum 1 year + experience of supervising others, and
• Experience in public law, housing law, and/or community care law within legal aid practice, and
• Strong commitment to social justice, harm reduction, and trauma-informed practice.
• Approved legal aid supervisor with the Legal Aid Agency.

Desirable

• Experience working in a charity or non-profit organisation.
• Experience supporting or contributing to strategic litigation or test case work.
• Understanding of the impact of drug policy and criminalisation on marginalised communities.
• Experience in developing new services, partnerships, or funding-linked delivery models.

About the Role

The Supervising Solicitor for Community Care – Legal Aid is a key role in shaping and strengthening Release’s legal services. Working closely with the Joint Head of Legal Services and Executive Director, and in collaboration with other colleagues, you will supervise the delivery of high-quality legal advice and representation, supporting the growth of legal aid practice whilst ensuring Release continues to train and develop social justice lawyers for the future. 

We are looking for an experienced legal aid practitioner who is strongly committed to social justice and the legal rights of marginalised communities, and who wants to build leadership experience in a movement-led organisation. The role will combine hands-on practice, leadership, supervision and compliance responsibilities. 

Please note: We do not expect the postholder to generate legal aid income at a multiple of their salary. While we do aim to grow legal aid income across the team to an initial target of £15,000–£25,000 per annum, the focus of this role is on developing high‑quality legal aid practice and building sustainable income collectively, as part of a mixed‑income organisational model.

As Supervising Solicitor for Community Care – Legal Aid, you will:

• Support Strategic Development: Contribute to developing the direction and priorities of Release’s legal services, including expanding legal aid work and strengthening access to justice.

• Provide Practice Supervision: Support a multidisciplinary team of solicitors, legal advisers and volunteers to deliver excellent, trauma-informed legal support. Support and mentor team members on how to adhere to legal aid file compliance, time recording and CCMS applications.

• Ensure Quality and Compliance: Help ensure consistent regulatory compliance and quality assurance across legal casework, including legal aid requirements.

• Strengthen and Grow Services: Help develop and improve legal service delivery models, including responding to emerging needs and client priorities.

• Contribute to Systemic Change: Support Release’s wider mission by helping connect legal services with policy, research, and advocacy work.

This role sits within the Grant Operations Team and provides essential coordination, system support, and process improvement across the grant-making lifecycle.

SUMMARY

Position Title:  Head of Digital Organising & Communications

Level: Level 6

Salary: £40, 000 - 46, 000 (FTE yearly/depending on experience/salaries under review as part of our ongoing pay review process)

Reports to: Director of Organising and Campaigns

Location: Liberation centre Brixton, London (New office in Brixton)/ Remote working within the UK with at least 2 days’ work from our office (Pro rata for part time)

Contract: Fulltime (40hrs/weekly), fixed-term contract for 2 years with potential for Part time (e.g., 32hrs/weekly) options

Hours: TAA has flexible working hours, with some expected evenings (e.g., one 9pm finish once every two weeks) and weekends due to the nature of the role. All extra hours are reimbursed as Time off in Lieu (TOIL).

The Advocacy Academy is an activist youth movement. We serve as the political home for grassroots youth organising and the catalyst for collective action. The lives of the young people we work alongside have been directly shaped by living in an unjust world, and we exist to turn their anger into action and change.

Young people are often the catalysts for major social change, from the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee at the heart of the Civil Rights Movement, to the Soweto Uprising mobilising young people to resist the apartheid regime's education policies, to the Sunrise Movement redrawing the electoral map across America, and more recently protests across the world protesting the genocide in Palestine. How successfully they achieve real and lasting change depends on whether they are organised and whether they have the right strategy and tactics to be effective.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In a context of the rise of the far right, increasing inequality, and climate disaster, The Advocacy Academy is growing to meet this moment. As part of this, we are expanding our Organising and Campaigns Team, including recruiting an experienced Digital Organiser.

This person will lead the design and implementation of an ambitious digital organising approach, including building out our base online and supporting campaigns to amplify our message and deliver the tangible wins we are pushing for. The work will be supported by up to five of our ‘changemakers’ - young people who will be paid to support our digital organising alongside their other work or study.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Oversee and deliver a Digital Organising Strategy within TAA, including but not limited to:

• Working with the SLT to set the strategic objectives and direction of your area of responsibility in relation to the broader growth of the organisation, ensuring appropriate resources, KPIs and relevant tools are in place to assess progress and make judgements on priorities. 
• Taking the lead on decision-making and problem-solving for all considerations relating to the area of responsibility, working with your department director and SLT around overlapping projects.
• Understanding the impact of socio-economic and sector specific changes that could impact the department, including wider trends around digital organising and campaigns.
• Supporting the department director with the management and mitigation of organisational risks by escalating issues within your department in a timely manner and supporting them with problem solving.

2. Lead on TAA’s digital organising approach, implementing online strategies as part of our campaigns, growing our membership, supporting our fundraising and building the systems needed to support these initiatives, including but not limited to:

• Leading the development and implementation of digital organising strategies as part of our youth-led organising campaigns, and support members and wider supporters to take action to deliver material change on issues that matter to our membership.
• Leading the development and implementation of digital strategies to deliver membership growth, working alongside colleagues to track and achieve key target numbers. 
• Leading the development and implementation of online member journeys, from initial touch points with TAA through to leaders of our youth movement.
• Ensuring the right digital platforms and technology (including website, WhatsApp, CRM, email, social media) are used to facilitate the effective and efficient delivery of key objectives
• Supporting the crafting and implementation of campaign messaging and content to support our campaign aims.
• Supporting the Development Team to create and implement key digital mechanisms to fundraise, including with individual donors, HNWIs, corporate donors and international funders).

3. Lead on TAA’s communications, storytelling and engagement work, ensuring we have a clear, consistent and effective narrative that reaches people, including but not limited to:

• Leading the strategic direction of TAA’s storytelling work, ensuring narrative change is embedded across the programme and rooted in the lived experience, values, and leadership of our communities.
• Coordinating the distributed communications efforts by different teams, ensuring consistent, high-quality outputs across all channels.
• Overseeing the development and delivery of multimedia content that shifts public understanding and showcases the impact of youth organising.
• Providing editorial oversight and creative leadership to ensure our digital storytelling is coherent, compelling, values-aligned, and responsive to the external environment.
• Supporting and advise the senior leadership team on narrative risks, opportunities, and emerging digital trends relevant to our movement goals.

4. Support our members to learn and grow as digital organisers in their own right, including but not limited to:

• Proactively build relationships with our members and grow our membership, through holding regular 1:1s and relational meetings that strengthen campaigns but more importantly help them to identify and act on their developing political interests and to plug them into relevant opportunities for growth at TAA and our wider networks.
• Hold a list of members that you are the relationship lead for, developing and delivering a live learning plan with many of them, supporting them to become powerful organisers.
• Work closely with the Programmes and Community teams to set trajectories and expectations for a young person’s campaigning and organising journey, their starting point coming into TAA, and the training and support they need.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings, holding space effectively and designing and delivering creative learning journeys for young people.

5. Be a key member of the Organising and Campaigns Team, including but not limited to:

• Support efforts to set the strategic direction and priorities for the Organising and Campaigns Team each financial year.
• Proactively develop an interest in the impact of political, socio-economic and sector specific changes that could impact the HOST Programme, department and TAA in general.
• Support the Director of Organising and Campaigns and Head of Organising and Campaigns with the management and mitigation of organisational risks presented by the Programme by escalating issues in a timely manner and supporting them with problem solving.
• Support colleagues in the Organising and Campaigns team to run events, training programmes and other key activities to deliver on departmental aims.

6. Culture, values and wider strategy and mission. Hold senior accountability for driving the achievement of our strategic objectives by embedding our vision, mission, strategy, ideology and cultural values across your area and the wider organisation. Play a central role in shaping organisational direction and leading cross-departmental priorities and initiatives, including but not limited to:

• Embodying and championing our commitment to social and economic justice, ensuring this is consistently reflected in organisational strategy, decision-making, delivery and partnerships
• Acting as a champion of organisational culture and values, setting the standard across teams and holding others to account in upholding these in practice
• Leading on identifying and driving opportunities that strengthen organisational impact, working closely with senior leadership, including the Director of Finance, HR and Ops, and contributing to high-level strategic direction
• Holding ultimate responsibility for identifying, assessing and addressing risks to our integrity, authenticity and alignment with our ideology and culture, taking decisive and timely action
• Enabling and lead effective cross-departmental collaboration, ensuring teams are aligned, appropriately resourced and working cohesively towards shared goals

7. Governance and Compliance

• Provide strategic leadership on governance and risk management within your portfolio, working in close partnership with the Finance, HR and Operations team.
• Lead and hold accountability for risk identification, analysis and mitigation, ensuring risks to strategic objectives are anticipated, escalated and managed effectively
• Maintain oversight of risk across your area, ensuring robust systems, controls and practices are in place and consistently applied
• Ensure strong organisational compliance with TAA policies and practices, taking responsibility for their effective implementation, continuous improvement and alignment with wider organisational standards
• You will support Programmes and Community Departments by ensuring that the operations, structures, processes, and practices align with and support TAA's campaigning and organising goals, activating new allies' goals, and community goals

Main Responsibilities

Strategic Income Leadership

Success in the first 12 months

By the end of year one, the Head of Fundraising will have:

• Built and qualified a clearly segmented major donor pipeline of 25 to 40 high capacity prospects, with defined engagement plans and projected value.
• Secured multiple new five figure commitments and, where strong prospects exist, at least one new six figure commitment.
• Delivered measurable growth in major donor and corporate income against agreed annual targets.
• Established and implemented a structured major donor strategy with clear segmentation and stewardship plans.
• Activated Trustees in income generation, resulting in new qualified introductions and live cultivation opportunities.
• Implemented robust forecasting and performance reporting systems providing reliable income visibility to the Board.

Salary and Package

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The Advocacy Academy is an activist youth movement. We serve as the political home for grassroots youth organising and the catalyst for collective action. The lives of the young people we work alongside have been directly shaped by living in an unjust world, and we exist to turn their anger into action.

Young people are often the catalysts for major social change, from the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee at the heart of the Civil Rights Movement, to the Soweto Uprising mobilising young people to resist the apartheid regime's education policies, to the Sunrise Movement redrawing the electoral map across America, and more recently encampments and protests across the world protesting the genocide in Palestine. How successfully they achieve real and lasting change depends on whether they are organised and whether they have the right strategy and tactics to be effective.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. You will coordinate our climate Coalition – Roots to Rise. You will be accountable for the development and delivery of our Climate Coalition Programme; Roots to Rise, including but not limited to: 

• Coordinating efforts to set the strategic direction and priorities for the Programme, working primarily with the Director of Programmes and Partnerships and Associate Director of Partnerships, and in connection with others that need to feed into the programme.
• Proactively build relationships with our coalition partners. This involves: 
  • Holding regular 1:1s and relational meetings that strengthen our connection, supporting partners to identify and act on their developing political interests, and ensuring they meet coalition milestones. 
  •   It also includes providing ongoing support around campaigns and community organising, enabling partners to lead and deliver local actions following the Summer Camp.
• Lead the Youth Steering Group. This involves: 
  • Providing strategic oversight and facilitation of the Youth Steering Group, ensuring consistent engagement, strong attendance, and meaningful youth voice throughout the programme.
  • Setting clear agendas, supporting members to contribute confidently, and ensuring insights are captured and translated into programme design and delivery. 
  • Working closely with partners to maintain alignment and ensure the group reflects the diversity and needs of the young people Roots to Rise serves.
• Lead the development of the Summer Camp (15th - 19th August 2026), ensuring availability across these dates: 
  •  Work closely with the Associate Director of Partnerships to oversee the delivery of the Roots to Rise Summer Camp, ensuring all elements are well-coordinated, high-quality, and aligned with programme outcomes.
  • Take ownership of key logistics, including timelines, partner coordination, and on-the-ground delivery, ensuring a smooth and inclusive experience for all participants. 
  • Support and enact mechanisms to capture learning and feedback throughout, ensuring insights are gathered effectively to inform real-time improvements and future iterations of the camp.
• You will ensure that Roots to Rise runs like a well-oiled machine by pulling in the right people at the right time to ensure key milestones are met:
  • Coordinate and maintain a suite of behind-the-scenes systems, processes and resources to keep things running like clockwork and provide transparency and help build trust
  • Coordinate the holding of safeguarding, risk management standards and ensure Health and Safety standards are met.
  • Maintain the clear monitoring and evaluation frameworks for your work which allow you and your team to learn, test, and re-test as you build, in partnership with young people and other partners
•  Hold the budget for the Roots to Rise Programme, ensuring that all activities are run within financial targets, working closely with the Director of Programmes and Partnerships and Associate Director of Partnerships to maintain oversight, identify efficiencies and potential savings, and proactively flag any risks or opportunities that may impact delivery or budget adherence.

2. You will support our wider partnerships work. Support the Associate Director of Partnerships to deliver our overall partnerships strategy. This will include, but is not limited:

• Working closely with the Senior Lead for Gender Coalition to identify opportunities for collaboration and reducing duplication
• Work closely with the Programmes, Organising and Campaigns, and Community teams to develop training on organising and campaigning.
• Deliver ad hoc workshops and meetings, holding space effectively and designing and delivering creative learning journeys for young people.

3. You will a key member of the Programme Team, including but not limited to:

• Support efforts to set the strategic direction and priorities for the Programmes Team each financial year.
• Support the Director of Programmes and Partnerships and Associate Director of Partnerships with the management and mitigation of organisational risks presented by the Coalition by escalating issues in a timely manner and contributing to effective problem solving.
•  Contribute to the delivery of wider organisational programmes beyond Roots to Rise, including providing support to initiatives such as Ignite and other internal programme delivery as required, ensuring alignment with team priorities and organisational goals.

We are looking for an experienced and connected Policy and Public Affairs Adviser to lead the development of this function within the organisation. Reporting Directly to the CEO you will engage with teams and partners to design both an on-going influencing strategy and the future shape of this work in coming years.

Key Responsibilities:

· Undertake internal opportunities review to identify key work strands.

Independent Age is the national charity focused on improving the lives of people facing financial hardship in later life. We believe no one should face financial hardship in later life. 

The Senior Media and PR Officer will undertake communication projects to support all areas of the charity to raise awareness and understanding of Independent Age, to secure policy change to tackle poverty in later life, and to drive potential supporters to our activities.

This role supports the charity’s media and PR programme, helping to secure positive coverage and strengthen its reputation through proactive and reactive communications. It will contribute to the organisation’s ambition by increasing awareness, influence, and engagement with key audiences across traditional and digital media channels. 

Working within the media communications team, the post-holder will lead on media planning and PR projects, identifying opportunities for both short-term campaigns (such as report launches) and longer-term storytelling by spotting future hooks and moments to promote key messages and calls to action. The role will also support wider team strategy development and contribute to a busy and responsive press office. 

You should have experience in media relations and press office activity, including drafting high-quality media materials such as press releases, statements, op-eds and thought leadership content. You will also need strong judgement to respond to enquiries, manage reputational issues in real time, build relationships with journalists and outlets across the UK nations, and monitor, evaluate and report on media coverage.

Hospice at Home’s skilled team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants provide our exceptional core services of palliative and end of life care and support people in their last year of life also providing additional services such as Lymphoedema, Bereavement and Family Support, Befriending, Occupational Therapy and Complementary Therapy.

We provide individualised care and support to improve quality of life and our end of life care helps facilitate a peaceful and dignified death in the home and support to those who are bereaved.

Although we receive some funding from the NHS, we need to raise over 85% of our running costs in order to ensure that this vital help is available when needed and remains free of charge to patients and their families.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Major Gifts & Individual Giving Lead to join our fundraising team.

This role leads the operational development of Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland’s Major Gifts, Individual Giving and Legacy programmes, and support in the development of Trust & Foundation applications.

As a new area of focus for the organisation, the postholder will be responsible for designing, launching and growing a full supporter journey for individual donors—from regular giving through to mid‑value, major gifts and Legacy giving. They will build and manage a strong pipeline of donors and prospects, cultivating long‑term philanthropic support for the charity.

The role also carries responsibility for developing strategic corporate partnerships with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) alignment, and values‑led partnerships that deliver sustainable mutual benefit.

They will drive the charity’s communications and supporter experience. Working with the wider fundraising team, the postholder will help design and deliver a communications plan, oversee development of social media, maintain website content, and produce print and digital materials to support fundraising and raise awareness of fundraising opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Individual Giving, major donor, legacy and Trust & Foundation income streams.
• Develop and steward high‑value supporter and corporate relationships aligned to charity values and ESG.
• Produce compelling fundraising communications, proposals and impact reporting.
• Use insight and performance data to drive income growth and supporter engagement.
• Line manage fundraising operations and ensure effective systems, reporting and compliance.
• Work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver integrated campaigns and strong supporter journeys.
• Act as a professional ambassador, building relationships within the community and with partners.

Essential Requirements

• Degree‑level qualification (or equivalent experience) and GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
• Significant experience delivering major donor, individual giving, legacy and/or corporate fundraising, with a track record of securing substantial or multi‑year income
• Proven ability to develop and deliver fundraising strategies, programmes and compelling cases for support
• Excellent relationship‑building, communication and presentation skills, including handling sensitive conversations
• Strong analytical capability, using data, insight and CRM systems to inform decisions and improve performance
• Confident, creative and persuasive storyteller across written and verbal communications
• Experience building new programmes and partnerships, including CSR/ESG‑aligned corporates
• Ability to manage people, priorities and multiple deadlines effectively
• Strategic, detail‑focused, proactive and resilient, with a strong values‑led and supporter‑centred approach
• Sound knowledge of fundraising regulation, GDPR and best practice
• Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends

Desirable

• CIOF Certificate/Diploma or specialist fundraising training
• Communications or marketing experience
• Experience within the charity, hospice or healthcare sector

The Purpose of the Role

The Senior Integration Officer will provide team leadership for longer-term integration casework for refugee households—including both adults and children—resettling in Hampshire under the UK Government Resettlement Programme. This includes the Afghan Resettlement Programme (ARP), the United Kingdom Resettlement Scheme (UKRS), Community Sponsorship, and other eligible schemes. The role focuses on households in their second year onwards of engagement with the service (following completion of the initial resettlement period).

The Senior Integration Officer line manages two Integration Officers and holds a 50% capacity caseload (including complex integration cases), providing reflective supervision, case direction and oversight of safeguarding cases. The postholder will maintain oversight of case management standards, support planning and Outcomes Star use, data quality, and performance reporting in line with contractual requirements. 

Key Working Relationships

This position will work closely with all staff involved in the delivery of the Hampshire Resettlement and Integration Support Service. This will include the Programme Manager (Resettlement and Integration), Senior Resettlement Officer, Integration Officers, Bilingual Integration Officer, Bilingual Resettlement Officers, Refugee Employability Caseworker, ESOL Coordinator and Senior Community and Engagement Officer. 

Externally, the position will build and maintain strong working relationships with our partners, Citizens Advice Rushmoor, statutory services, commissioned providers, and voluntary and community sector partners across Hampshire. The Senior Integration Officer will represent the service at multi-agency forums, strengthening referral and escalation pathways (including for safeguarding and complex needs), and will work with partners to highlight systemic and individual barriers to independence and longer-term integration outcomes for resettled households.

This role is line managed by the Programme Manager with a dotted-line reporting relationship with the UK Safeguarding Advisor on safeguarding matters.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Support to Households (50% caseload capacity)

• Hold a 50% capacity caseload, including complex or high-need integration cases, providing direct one-to-one support and modelling best practice.

• Provide tailored strengths -based casework support to refugee households in years 2 onwards, supporting progression towards independence and reduced reliance on intensive services.

• Where applicable, provide bilingual support and where not possible work effectively with interpreters to ensure clear, accurate and culturally appropriate communication.

• Deliver and/or lead group-based integration sessions and workshops that support access to information, peer learning and opportunities related to longer-term settlement in the UK.

• Lead on partnership development and maintenance (including with Citizens Advice Rushmoor and other local partners), strengthening referral and signposting pathways and coordinating access to services and resources that enable clients to meet their short- and long-term goals.

• Support the completion and regular review of individual Support Plans using the Outcomes Star tool, with a focus on progression, goal-setting and exit planning.

• Advocate, verbally and in written form, on behalf of clients with service providers and statutory agencies, and support escalation and problem-solving where required.

Team support and quality assurance (40%)

• Line manage two Integration Officers, including setting objectives, providing regular reflective supervision, supporting wellbeing and professional development, and completing performance review processes.

• Provide case management support and oversight, including reviewing Individual Support Plans/Outcomes Star use, ensuring timely case notes, and embedding strengths-based, trauma-informed practice.

• Support team coordination and consistency, including agreeing priorities, balancing workload, supporting cover arrangements, and promoting learning and continuous improvement.

• Provide coaching/training and on-the-job support to strengthen delivery. 

Safeguarding

• Serve as the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns and record all incidents promptly and confidentially in the CRM. 

• Complete initial risk assessments using the matrix and manage low/medium-risk cases in line with the IRC UK Safeguarding SOP, escalating to the Project Manager for supervision and closure. 

• Escalate high-risk concerns immediately to the UK Safeguarding Advisor and seek guidance on complex or unclear cases. 

• Oversee programme safeguarding across delivery: track actions/outcomes, participate in weekly case reviews, engage partners, and promote staff understanding of reporting procedures. 

Key administrative tasks and ways of working (10%)

• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all reporting requirements, including oversight of database management, case noting and file maintenance, with a focus on evidencing client progress and outcomes in line with data protection and contractual requirements.

• Monitor data quality across the team, implementing checks, addressing gaps promptly and supporting the Integration Officers to maintain consistently high documentation standards.

• Coordinate and support project logistics (as needed), such as arranging venues, preparing materials for group sessions, and ensuring accessible delivery across partner sites.

• Provide flexible administrative support to meet project needs, including contributing to internal reporting and contract performance monitoring.

• Attend and contribute to multi-agency coordination meetings and service development discussions, bringing operational insight to improve longer-term integration support.

• Regularly gather and act on client and partner feedback to improve service quality, accessibility and responsiveness, and support continuous improvement across the team.

• Carry out all duties in accordance with the aims, values and policies of the International Rescue Committee, in particular in relation to safeguarding, confidentiality, impartiality and equal opportunities, relevant legislation and contractual/donor requirements. 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

Essential

• Demonstrated ability to lead on longer-term integration delivery, supporting clients to move towards independence, providing operational guidance, coaching and support to staff members to ensure consistent, high-quality, outcomes-focused casework.**

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, partners and clients in English.

• Sound understanding of safeguarding principles and risk management processes, with the ability to exercise professional judgement and provide appropriate guidance in complex or sensitive situations. **

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to navigate and maintain a wide range of internal and external partnerships.

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, manage competing demands and meet deadlines.

• Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience leading meetings or trainings via online platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

• Ability to work flexibly both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Ability to travel regularly throughout the service delivery area and, where required, to attend partner locations and multi-agency meetings.

Desirable

• Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto or another relevant community language, enhancing culturally responsive engagement and reducing reliance on interpretation where appropriate.

Experience:

Essential

• Significant experience supporting refugees, asylum seekers or other vulnerable populations through structured integration pathways, including progression in employment, education, financial stability and community participation. **

• Proven line management, supervision or team leadership experience for diverse staff within a casework, social care or integration-focused environment, including responsibility for case oversight, performance support and professional development. **

• Strong working knowledge of UK statutory and voluntary sector systems and services.

• Significant experience using Client Management Relationship systems and leading data quality assurance processes. This includes implementing routine checks and controls across case records and client management systems, ensuring timely corrective action and maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards.

The Supporter Services Executive (Gifts & Income) will be a key team member of a busy Supporter Services & Standards Team in London.

You will be responsible for:
• Leading on the day-to-day operational management of activities within the Gifts & Income Team.
• Processing and reconciling income for the Fundraising directorate at Sue Ryder, including both electronic and physical donations,
• To help and guide other income processing activities carried out across Fundraising.

The successful candidate will also work closely with the Supporter Services Team Leader (Gifts & Income) on the management of donation compliance and best practice at Sue Ryder.
