Role Context
As part of Gaddum’s Talking Therapies service, the PWP Supervisor will oversee the Step 2 service within HMR. This role will provide clinical case management and skills supervision to both qualified and trainee PWPs. The role combines supervisory and service leadership with a small clinical caseload and focuses on ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care and strong support for staff wellbeing and professional development.
Our PWPs will be completing training positions, including full participation in an accredited Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) or equivalent training in Low Intensity Interventions at one of our partner universities (e.g., University of Manchester, UCLan, or LJMU).
Role Purpose
The PWP Supervisor will:
• Lead on service development, training, and quality improvement
• Provide high-quality clinical and case management supervision to PWPs
• Support PWPs with clinical risk, complex presentations, and professional development
• Regularly assess and sign off all supervisees’ clinical competency for training and ongoing registration requirements.
• Maintain a small caseload, delivering low-intensity interventions where needed
• Liaison with educational providers of the training courses to meet the joint learning agreement
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Clinical Practice:
• Conduct assessments and deliver low-intensity CBT-based interventions when needed
• Respond to clinical risk and manage urgent presentations, acting as a Safeguarding Officer for the service
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practice in line with NICE guidance
• Contribute to the overall caseload capacity of the service in times of high demand
Quality Assurance and Service Improvement:
• Oversee outcome measures, recovery rates, and KPIs for the service, ensuring they are consistently met and accurately recorded
• Participate in clinical audits, data monitoring, and service evaluation
• Support innovation and continuous improvement within the service
• Complete quarterly reporting as required by the service commissioner
Collaboration and Development:
• Work collaboratively with Step 3 clinicians, GPs, VCSE partners, and university providers
• Contribute to outreach and promotion of the service across HMR
• Facilitate team learning, reflective practice, and training delivery
• Work alongside commissioners from the Big Life Group to achieve shared goals
Academic and Supervision:
• Provide clinical and case management supervision to the team of PWPs
• Monitor PWP trainees’ progress against learning objectives
• Lead PWPs in reflective practice sessions
• Support PWPs to attend and complete all training modules, assignments, and practical components of the university training programme
• Support PWPs to apply academic learning to clinical practice

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning and administration of a range of workshops, seminars, and accreditations for young people in Sligo and Belfast in line with agreed targets.

Maintaining our iPads and online learner portal, ensuring e-workbooks are completed and uploaded and devices are wiped clean after each use.

Working with our wider project team on the administrative training function ensuring all e-workbooks are submitted in a timely manner, certificates distributed and invoices are sent to our Finance Officer marked clearly for this programme.

Working with regional Coordinators on the development of careers events and initiatives alongside a range of partner organisations and employers.

Collating and sharing key quantitative output data and qualitative feedback and case studies with our regional Coordinators and Monitoring Officer enabling them to track progress against targets and upload dedicated learner information to our VIEWs monitoring software in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
As Relief Training Programme Facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training activities for all trainees, embedding a person-centred approach within training activities, focusing on each trainee’s strengths and opportunities to increase independence. You will be required to provide comprehensive reports on each trainee’s engagement and progression towards their goals, including feedback on existing strategies within individual learning support plans.

§ Be responsible for data collection, entry, management and quality assurance utilising our VIEWs monitoring software developed by Substance for the UK Home Office
§ Run regular monitoring reports and sharing with our regional Coordinators and Programme Manager
§ Input to funder reports and attending meetings as and when required.
§ Work with an appointed external research agency on an independent impact evaluation of the programme ensuring their data capture requirements are embedded alongside our own.

About the role

The Manager is an employee of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets based at our Crosby Boat Station. The post holder is required to hold and maintain the following qualifications as a condition of employment: RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor and RYA Powerboat Instructor.
The primary purpose of the role is to manage a water-sports training facility in the Liverpool area for all Sea Cadet Units and other affiliates to the Boat Station.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day running of the Boat Station.
- Ensure that all visiting groups and their staff are fully briefed on the Boat Station’s policies and procedures and that there is adequate supervision of Cadets and young people at the facility, so as to discharge their duty of care for them.
- Oversee the Chief Instructor and all other sessional Instructors using the Boat Station.
- Manage the Boat Station’s accounts in liaison with the Regional Finance Manager including day to day fees.
- Ensure that best practise in accordance with the NGB guidelines and requirements following our Inshore Boating Operating Standard.

About the role
The Maritime Lead Trainer will plan, manage and deliver all maritime apprenticeship programmes and adult skills qualifications and to enable learners’ successful achievement and progression.
Key Responsibilities
- To plan engaging and effective face to face and remote teaching sessions for all apprentice and adult learner programmes.
- To teach and assess the knowledge and practical skills required to meet apprenticeship standards in line with own expertise.
- To conduct workplace observations and carry out progress reviews for apprentices
- To devise and mark vocational assignments in line with awarding organisation requirements.
- To provide constructive feedback, guidance and tutorial support for apprentices and learners
- To oversee other peripatetic trainers as required in the delivery of programmes
- To maintain a compliant learner journey in line with DfE and Ofsted standards
- To be the administrator and manage the Google Classroom virtual learning environment.
- To create learning resources, making best use of AI and digital tools to support apprentice and adult learning programmes
Requirements
- Proven track record of teaching apprenticeships and/or vocational qualifications in the last five years
- Strong understanding and knowledge of maritime sector technical training e.g. MCA, RYA
- Good understanding of post 16 regulatory standards and awarding organisation quality assurance processes
- Teaching or training qualification at level 3 or above
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and online meeting platforms

Whilst this role requires proven experience of quantitative skills, we are open to candidates with limited or no experience in qualitative research. This is a varied role, and we envisage opportunities for fieldwork, e.g. conducting interviews, facilitating and moderating focus groups. We can provide training and support to help you develop the necessary qualitative skills. The successful candidate will bring both expertise and creativity to help improve data capture, analysis, reporting processes, and insight generation. Your experience will include working with CRM system(s) and data reporting tools, and you will be adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

THE RESPONSIBILITES
SHiFT’s Data Analyst has responsibility for:
Data Collection and Management
- Support the effective use of SHiFT’s Salesforce system, ensuring accurate, timely data entry and maintenance across local Practices.
- Assist members of our local Practice Teams (Practice Coordinators and Guides) with data queries and monthly surveys.
- Coordinate and quality-assure monthly data submissions, working closely with Practice teams to ensure consistency and completeness.
- Help to develop reporting tools, dashboards, or templates on and off Salesforce to support embedding learning back into practice and more widely to contribute to our ambitions for systems change.
System Improvement and Efficiency
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline data processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SHiFT’s Salesforce configuration, in collaboration with external developers and internal users.
- Help document processes and support training materials for system users.
- Navigate and innovate with different systems, including understanding the data recording systems used by Local Authorities and working with the Learning and Practice team to reduce duplication of data entry for practitioners.
Learning and Insight Generation
- Produce routine reports and data summaries for internal use, feeding into learning and influencing conversations.
- Support the Learning Team’s efforts to use data for reflection, learning, and improvement both locally and nationally.
- Contribute to longer-term work exploring integration of data across education, youth justice, social care, and health systems.

Rise for Change is the training arm of Hope After Harm and currently provides domestic abuse, sexual harassment, and trauma-informed working training programmes for non-specialist professionals, however, we are aiming to expand our training offer to cover other areas of gender-based violence. Uniquely created by our subject matter experts, our training directly addresses the need for intersectional, and trauma informed training on gender-based violence for professionals in all sectors. We actively promote self-reflection, critical thinking and survivor voice to affect sustainable, inclusive change for survivors. About Quest for Learning
Quest for Learning is an education charity on a mission to close the gap for primary school children in Oxfordshire who are falling behind - often due to complex and compounding disadvantage. Many of the children we support are growing up in poverty, with limited access to books, low parental literacy, and challenging home environments. Some face health inequalities, live in areas affected by crime, or have recently arrived in the UK as refugees or asylum seekers.
We work closely with schools to provide targeted, high-impact literacy and numeracy programmes that give these children the chance to catch up, thrive, and believe in their potential. On average, our small-group tutoring helps pupils make 13 months of progress in just 10 hours - building not only essential skills, but also confidence, motivation, and a renewed sense of possibility.
The impact extends well beyond the classroom. By supporting children early, we help prevent the need for more complex and costly interventions later in life, from mental health support to exclusion and social care. Our work contributes to stronger, fairer communities by giving every child the foundation they need to participate fully in society. Role Purpose
This is a hands-on and outward-facing role for a confident, capable fundraiser ready to lead Quest for Learning’s income generation efforts. As our sole dedicated fundraiser, you’ll take ownership of securing income across a broad mix of streams - including trusts and foundations, community fundraising, individual giving, and corporate partnerships.
You’ll be out and about representing the charity, building relationships with local businesses, community groups, and supporters, and bringing our mission to life with energy and clarity. You'll need to be a proactive self-starter who enjoys meeting people, thrives in a varied role, and is motivated by delivering results that improve life chances for disadvantaged children.
This is a busy and varied role which often involves working on multiple fundraising activities at once. A typical day could include working on an application to a new funder, designing a supporter newsletter, gathering information for an end of grant report, and researching new prospects.
This role would suit someone with experience of securing funding, managing funder relationships, and developing new opportunities - all with a focus on practical delivery. You’ll work closely with the CEO, leadership and programme teams, and our board of trustees to help grow a diverse and sustainable income base.
Key Responsibilities
Trusts and foundations
- Research and identify prospective funders, building a robust pipeline
- Write and submit compelling, tailored funding applications
- Deliver timely, high-quality reports with evidence of impact
- Build and maintain strong relationships with funders through clear, proactive stewardship
- Monitor success rates and financial information and adapt strategy to improve performance
Community fundraising
- Initiate and grow partnerships with local community groups (e.g. WIs, Rotary clubs, schools, churches)
- Support or coordinate local fundraising events and campaigns (e.g. fun runs, quizzes, coffee mornings)
- Attend community events to represent the charity and engage new supporters
- Equip and support individuals and groups to fundraise on our behalf
Corporate partnerships and other earned income
- Build relationships with local and regional businesses to secure sponsorship, gifts-in-kind or Charity of the Year support
- Develop creative, mutually beneficial opportunities to engage corporate partners
- Work with the CEO and board to identify and cultivate prospects
- Explore other potential income streams including education consultancy or training offers
Individual Giving and supporter engagement
- Support the development of campaigns to encourage donations from individuals
- Help create a compelling case for support across our communications
- Identify opportunities to increase visibility and supporter base (e.g. speaking engagements, community fairs)
- Ensure Quest for Learning is regularly engaging with our supporters
- Champion the use of storytelling and pupil outcomes to inspire giving
Marketing and communications (fundraising-focused)
- Develop fundraising messaging and materials with the CEO and team
- Lead on all communications relating to fundraising and supporter engagement
- Ensure consistent branding and tone across all fundraising-related comms
- Share our impact with passion and clarity to motivate supporters
Planning and systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our Beacon CRM
- Track income performance and contribute to budgeting and forecasting
- Create and deliver realistic workplans to manage multiple deadlines
- Liaise with programme staff to gather data and stories for funders
- Report on income and fundraising activities to CEO and trustees
Person Specification
Essential
- Proven experience in fundraising, with a track record of securing income across multiple streams
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain our mission clearly and persuasively to a wide range of audiences
- Excellent bid writing and reporting skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Confidence in networking, public speaking, and relationship-building
- Proactive, self-motivated, and happy to work independently
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Values-led, personable and enthusiastic - able to represent the charity with warmth and professionalism
Desirable
- Experience working in a small charity or education setting
- Knowledge of the Oxfordshire funding landscape or local networks
- Experience with community fundraising, challenge events, or individual giving
- Skills in Canva, Mailchimp or similar content creation tools
- Familiarity with Beacon or similar fundraising CRMs
- Understanding of primary education and the barriers disadvantaged children face
- Experience producing fundraising workplans or reports for trustees
