Our UK office is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Data & Insights Officer to lead on the day-to-day maintenance and utilisation of our data management platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365, with a particular focus on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) module. This role is pivotal to supporting a culture of data-driven decision-making across Amref UK, ensuring the integrity and strategic use of our data to enable strategic growth in supporter engagement, retention and income generation.

The Senior Data & Insights Officer will be a key point of contact for colleagues across the organisation, playing an instrumental role in supporting how we gather, manage and utilise data at Amref UK. They will be critical in providing expertise and establishing new ways of working across key Amref UK teams, including Supporter Engagement, Programmes & Strategic Partnerships, Finance, Operations and Senior Management.  The postholder will be the organisational expert in Microsoft Dynamics working with senior leaders, Amref HQ ICT, Amref’s global Fundraising Development team (F&D) and third-party vendors to develop, implement and integrate processes and reporting tools that aid analysis and insight.  They will work with HQ ICT to deliver improved functionality and system upgrades while maintaining data integrity and compliance requirements.  Experience in relational database design and familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Analytics would also be an advantage.

To be successful in this role, the post holder will need to be a team player who brings a combination of technical expertise, communication skills and business change experience.

As Legacy Executive for Battersea, you will have the opportunity to gain further skills and experience of the fast-growing charity Legacy sector. In this role, you will ensure the fulfilment of the wishes of those animal lovers who have been kind enough to remember Battersea in their Will and in turn will be of direct help to some of the most vulnerable animals in our society.

In this role, you will:

• Provide administrative support to the Legacy Administration team, who are responsible for the legacies left to Battersea.
• Manage your own caseload of pecuniary legacies, including corresponding sensitively and effectively with family and friends of the people who have left a legacy to Battersea.

The Justice Together Initiative was launched in 2020 with a decade-long vision that people who use the UK immigration system can access justice fairly and equally, enabling them to get on with their lives. It is a unique and ambitious collaboration of several funder partners who have pooled more than £15 million of new funding to strategically invest in legal advice, strengthen immigration sector organisations over the long term, and local and national influencing to support the lawful and fair functioning of immigration, nationality, and asylum processes. It is hosted by Justice Collaborations which is an independent charity and wholly owned subsidiary of LEF.

As Influencing and Grants Manager you will work with colleagues, funder partners, sector experts and directly affected communities to lead the implementation of Justice Together's influencing strategy.

Primarily an influencing role, the postholder will also be responsible for managing a small number of influencing grants and will work closely with the Grants Manager and Grant Partner Community Manager to ensure that the process for grant renewals runs smoothly.

Contract: Permanent position, offered on either a full-time (35 hours) or part-time (28 hours) per week basis

We are a growing charity with an annual income of £3.5m with a diversified funding portfolio including grants, donations and trading income with a mix of restricted and unrestricted funds. This is a new interim part‑time role within Leukaemia UK’s Finance & Resources team and forms part of a planned transition from an outsourced finance model to a fully in‑house finance function. The role has been created to provide support to the Director of Finance and Resources, whilst the role is recruited for permanently. Sands Groups are volunteer led, and community driven.  

Sands has a vision to grow community-based peer support, community activity and volunteer involvement across the organisation. This requires an investment in enabling, innovation in peer support and volunteer involvement and partnership working.At the heart of this is our Befrienders.

Befrienders are in every Group across the UK and enable online support groups too.

This post is all about developing, delivering and managing our fantastic volunteer befriender programme across Sands. Ensuring that Sands befrienders are enabled to provide warm, supportive, evidence-based and values-driven peer support to bereaved families across the UK.

This maternity cover post will have two key focus areas

- Maintaining key components of the befriender programme, including regular communications and meeting with Befrienders, driving recruitment opportunities, supporting innovation in Befriending and troubleshooting in partnership with volunteers.

- Deliver a fixed timeline project focused on developing the Befriender programme.

Responsibilities

Best practice in peer support and befriender programmes

• Manage the direction and growth of the Befriender programme
• Work with the Development Leads and Community Development Officers to create plans for regions to support existing Befrienders and grow the peer support offer across the UK

· To engage, inspire and support existing Sands befrienders, providing a positive volunteer experience from recruitment to saying goodbye

• Be the point of contact for Befriender safeguarding issues. Be proactive in addressing and be an escalation point for challenges, risks and safeguarding issues.

Working across departments, you’ll embed a collaborative and insight-led approach to donor retention and supporter experience. 

You will lead the strategic planning and delivery of supporter development activity, from multi-channel appeals to tailored stewardship, and helping to grow income from regular giving and repeat giving audiences, as well as collaborating with Acquisition and Mid-Value and Legacy teams to grow a sustainable income pipeline.
